RACE ONE

Another high quality 70Heat that looks to generate plenty of tempo here with the visiting OFFYAROCKA CROCKER (2) for Chris Frisby set to strike first up. Beaten a pimple last start at Bathurst, he comes through the recent Wagga series claimed by the talented MY ULTIMATE RONNIE.

JACCKA WALLY (1) has shown that he can be a bit of a risk when drawn tight, making errors at his past two visits to Redcliffe and also the last time he drew gate 1 here at The Creek. A smart all the way winner three runs back over the mile form gate 4, if he gets it right, he can throw it down.

MO SZYSLAK (8) was first up Qld last start when making ground wide off the track in the closing stages, finishing 5m from the winner CHAMONIX. With a soft trip he can be probing to join in.

MY ULTIMNATE JOHNNY (4) was a good thing licked last start after stuck in the trail behind a leader that could not get him to the passing lane. Charging once the gap arrived to grab 2nd, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: OFFYAROCKA CROCKER (2), JACCKA WALLY (1), MO SZYSLAK (8), MY ULTIMATE JOHNNY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-8

RACE TWO

In what looks an even contest, a return to a tighter gate should help JILLIBY CHAMBERS (3) who has been drawn wider at her past two starts, the latest when snagged back over the 2138. Too far back as RED TRIX capitalise two back, she had won both prior runs and can look to bounce back here.

BRIGADIERS SON (6) is the query runner from the wide gate at his first appearance for the Donny Smith barn. First up from a spell at his last run when starting fav and working around the field from the second line, he has been an enigma since arriving last year from NZ but stays under watch.

HES SWEET (1) took the trail from gate 1 over the Redcliffe 2040 last start when just 2m from the winner. A return to the mile and another easy trip can see him close to the money.

WINDY HILL WALLY (4) had been knocking on the door with some strong performances in recent starts and franked them with a 9m margin in victory here last start. He can be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY CHAMBERS (3), BRIGADIERS SON (6), HES SWEET (1), WINDY HILL WALLY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

A maiden here at HQ after 12 previous attempts, GABBYS SPORTSTAR (9) night just have found the set up to claim a breakthrough. Buried last start at Redcliffe, he attacked the line strongly when working into open space. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior, with the right early trail he can arrive.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (1) has the arm hustle to set the speed here as he chases a drought breaker that extends back to October last year. Buried from inside the second line last start, he never got the space to have a shot at them. From the ace his chances look much better for this battle.

STANDANDELIVER (3) was deep field from the second line last start when trying to make closing ground behind STRONG RESPONSE. 4m from the handy LOUS DREAM the start prior, he is in the mix.

AWHOLELOTOFPRETTTY (5) was second up from a spell last time out where she was taken off the arm from gate 5. Doing the best over the closing stages to score, she can be chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: GABBYS SPORTSTAR (9), LITTLELIONELJAMES (1), STANDANDELIVER (3), AWHOLELOTOFPRETTTY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GABBYS SPORTSTAR (9) to win

RACE FOUR

This race looks set to generate some solid up-front pressure and tempo which should aid MIGHTY GEORGE (9) in his close out chances. Snagged off the gate from outside the front-line last start before hitting the line in some slick closing panels, he can be close enough to descend on them.

FRANCO NATHAN (1) has been facing tough gates in recent starts and should relish the chance to start tight in this battle. Midfield last start after retreating from gate 7 over the 2138 trip, it followed a rearward finish after positioned at the rear from gate 4. He gets a chance to turn it around.

GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (6) is a gazelle off the arm and despite the gate, can fire some early bullets. Trying to see it out over the 2138 last start, that followed successive wins and she is in the mix.

MI FURIOSO TORO (4) was required to do plenty of work last start from the 10m tape at Marburg when grabbing 2nd. Hitting the line in nice order when runner-up here two back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: MIGHTY GEORGE (9), FRANCO NATHAN (1), GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (6), MI FURIOSO TORO (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MIGHTY GEORGE (9) to win

RACE SIX

Taking further benefit from his latest outing when second up from a spell, GRIGORA (1) again comes up with the right gate. Runner-up to RISKY BUZINESS when resuming, he followed the poles last start when 7m from the winner JAY TEE TYRON. With early hustle, he has the options to capitalise.

SIR BOSTON (5) was first up from a spell here last week when facing the outside second line gate. With the right cart into the contest, he was able to ease wider and come away to claim a 3m margin. Despite the tricky gate, he will strip fitter and finds a suitable contest to chase down another victory.

SHADYS DELIGHT (10) held the trail from inside the second line at Marburg last time out when finishing with the silver behind TEACHERS PET. Tempo will aid his chances of chiming in.

SIGNOR JUJON (2) was snookered from inside the second line last start when finding late space to grab the bronze behind TACTICS ARE ROLLIN. Settling handy can see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GRIGORA (1), SIR BOSTON (5), SHADYS DELIGHT (10), SIGNOR JUJON (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Looming strongly here last start from deep field, ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (8) came up 3m short as SIR BOSTON was able to pinch the prize. Likely to be locked away, if he spots the gap in time, the fence trip is ideal and he can look to take the closing shot on them.

BEE GEES BEST (7) went too hard through the first half mile last start and was out of bullets a long way from home over the Redcliffe 1780. Holding on for 3rd in a Trot Rods two back, he was runner-up to BEACH ON FIRE here three back and from this gate can get forward to make a play.

HESLUVABLE (10) was unable to reel in the prize here tow starts back after starting fav from gate 6 and forced to work hard in the run. Midfield to SARASUN last start, he has podium claims.

FOR NO REASON (1) faded last start from the second line as BATMAN BART controlled it. Closer the start prior from gate 2, she can look to protect the trail to chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (8), BEE GEES BEST (7), HESLUVABLE (10), FOR NO REASON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

Showing early hustle last start before securing running line cover, BLACKJACK BETH (1) was trying to make ground when angled wider at the 400 but was left labouring to the wire. Coming through the APG Series behind MISS FROUFROU her previous two, she lands the mapping options to capitalise.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (2) made the most of the inside gate at Marburg three starts back to take them all the way and pull clear to an 11m margin. Not suited at his past two from wide gates, he secures the improved alley here and can use the early hustle to make a challenge.

OUR UNCLE LES (6) has been a beaten fav at his past two starts which have both been at Redcliffe, finishing in the minors at each. The wide gate does his chances no favours in this line up.

ODINS BLACK CROWS (9) started from this same gate last week when set alight down the back straight to find the front before being gunned down in the stretch. He is right in the fight again.

SELECTIONS: BLACKJACK BETH (1), WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (2), OUR UNCLE LES (6), ODINS BLACK CROWS (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

Hitting the board for the first time this Qld visit at his last appearance, MAJOR HOLIDAY (1) lands his best gate since arriving. Using the passing lane last start when darting through for the bronze, he was wide off the track from gate 5 the start prior at Redcliffe. He looks to get his chance here.

WATERLINE (7) has placed in five of her seven this season as she continues to find a 3YO win just out of reach. Gate 7 makes the task no easier here after her last start when 1m in arrears of the winner IMTHECANDYMAN. Despite the wide gate, she is up to the task in this line up.

SPORTING LEGEND (9) makes his first appearance of his 3YO term after winning one of three last season. With a tidy trial in readiness for his return, he can be chiming in off the tough gate.

MISTER DELWIN (4) should appreciate a return to the front line after his past three have been off the second line, including both runs in the APG behind MISS FROUFROU. He has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR HOLIDAY (1), WATERLINE (7), SPORTING LEGEND (9), MISTER DELWIN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR HOLIDAY (1) to win

RACE TEN

A small four horse 3YO trot to close the card made no easier by the fact that there is a debutant and another two with no exposed mobile start form. DEXTROUS DEXTER (4) is the widest off the arm for his first look at the start car in a race but was safe in a qualifying trial. Runner-up from the tapes behind HOLKD MY HAT DOUG two starts back, he can open the account.

MIX IT UP (2) is the only runner to bring race experience from behind the mobile, with all three runs last season when trained in Victoria and all when out of the money. Chasing gamely last start when 2nd behind subsequent winner TOP OF THE MOMENT, he looms large.

UWOHALI (3) placed in 6 of 12 starts during her 2YO term and resumes here as a 3YO. Last seen in October when runner-up to GLENEAGLE REIGN, this will be her first look at the mobile under race conditions.

WAITING FOR A MATE (1) is a Centurion ATM gelding on debut for Al Barnes that has done his educating and trialling at Menangle. Running his own mile in 2.07 at his last trial, it might be an ask.

SELECTIONS: DEXTROUS DEXTER (4), MIX IT UP (2), UWOHALI (3), WAITING FOR A MATE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DEXTROUS DEXTER (4) to win
