RACE ONE

Bouncing back to winning form last start when charging home in the closing stages, DATTITUDE (1) posted a 2m margin. Banished to the trials two starts back, he has been plagued with gaiting issues but with the options from this alley, if he paces cleanly, he can go back-to-back.

WINDY HILL WALLY (8) has been racing in consistent form of late, hitting the board at his past six in succession. A winner from the trail two starts back, he was attacking the line hard last start to get within a head of the winner MUCH BETTOR. Off a cosy trip, he can issue a challenge.

THE MAHARANI (3) returned from a spell when grabbing 3rd at Redcliffe behind subsequent winner LITTLE CHANGE. Arriving in the last stride here second up, she has good arm hustle to feature.

ISNTTHATRIGHT (2) started from inside the second line last start where he was soon locked away before gaining the inside passage to grab the bronze. Settling handy, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: DATTITUDE (1), WINDY HILL WALLY (8), THE MAHARANI (3), ISNTTHATRIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Extoics 1-2-3-8

RACE TWO

Big in defeat last start when sitting parked and then only finishing a half-neck in arrears of the winner, STANDANDELIVER (8) is building towards his first win here at HQ. Beaten by gate 11 over the middle trip two starts back, he only needs the right rub of the green to capitalise.

STRONG RESPONSE (2) has hit some nice areas in recent starts, including a strong first over victory here two starts back over the 2138, Firing out to set the speed last start, again over the middle trip, he was collared in the closing strides. He can get forward again here to throw it down.

ETERNAL GOLD (1) should appreciate the improved gate after two runs back from a spell have been from gate 7 and inside the second line. Buried last start at the 2138, he has early options here.

ALEXIA ROSE (6) is chasing a hat-trick of wins after victory here at 2138 followed by an all the way effort over the 1780 at Redcliffe. The wide gate dents the hopes of a threepeat.

SELECTIONS: STANDANDELIVER (8), STRONG RESPONSE (2), ETERNAL GOLD (1), ALEXIA ROSE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: STANDANDELIVER (8) to win

RACE THREE

After successive wins over the sprint trip here at The Creek, TORQUE LIKE MOTION (5) has stepped up in some strong Saturday night 3YO events at her past two. Copping a horrid gate in both of those fixtures, she will appreciate a return to this company and can overcome a potentially sticky alley.

STUDLEIGH MARK (1) made the most of gate 1 at Marburg last start when firing out to set the tempo and seeing it out with 2m to spare. Strong top the line wide off the track here two starts back when runner-up to MADRIGAL, he lands all the favours from the ace to issue a challenge.

ONLY ONCE BITTEN (8) eased to the poles from outside the second line last start and using the passing lane was 9m from subsequent winner SOHO CASABLANCA. She will be probing here.

MIGHTY GEORGE (10) has been sectionally strong in recent starts, the latest when grabbing the bronze behind DATTITUDE. Rattling home after retreating from gate 7 two back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE LIKE MOTION (5), STUDLEIGH MARK (1), ONLY ONCE BITTEN (8), MIGHTY GEORGE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE LIKE MOTION (5) to win

RACE FOUR

In two Qld starts since crossing the Tasman, MO SZYSLAK (8) has had very little go his way and draws the second line for the third time in succession. Eased off the inside from this gate last start, he was then caught in gridlock and never got a crack at them. If he spots the space, he can take this.

OUR ACTION MAN (7) made the most of gate 1 last start in a second division B5 event where he was able to burrow through to lead and cling on for the victory in smart time. A Redcliffe winner from gate 6 tow starts back, the wide gate makes this an ask, but with even luck he can challenge.

CHAMONIX (2) was a winner here two starts back when settled in the running line before arriving in the closing stages to claim the barest possible margin. Luckless last start, he is in the mix.

ARCO (9) has been bereft of luck in recent starts and has drawn gate 7 or 10 in four of her six here at HQ. Chasing the classy CAT KING COLE from gate 10 last start, she can trail through here to chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: MO SZYSLAK (8), OUR ACTION MAN (7), CHAMONIX (2), ARCO (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Beaten by the inside second line gate last start that saw her shuffled back, EXCITING TIMES (1) secures the opportunity to make her own luck. Rattling home to be 4m from the winner despite being buried, she took them all the way from gate 6 here four back and gets every chance in this.

CUSTOM NIKE (7) resumes from a let up after her last appearance when striking trouble and facing a trial embargo. Earning the return with a tidy hit out behind the smart 3YO AARDIES FLASH, she has two previous wins here at The Creek, with both wins coming from this same gate.

OUR UNCLE LES (6) claimed his second career win here last week from this same gate after easing in the early stages before owning superior closing speed to claim a narrow margin. He has claims again.

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (8) released from gate 1 last start and with eh soft trip held on for the bronze behind CHAL BE. Collared late when trying to go all the way two starts back, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: EXCITING TIMES (1), CUSTOM NIKE (7), OUR UNCLE LES (6), LOVIN MISS DIXIE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: EXCITING TIMES (1) to win

RACE SIX

Returning from a spell in slick order when tackling a Saturday night 3YO feature, FOR REAL LIFE (6) took control and after a steady opening half, dialled it up to rip home in 26 flat to put it out of reach. Tightened from that PB effort, he can slide across here to set it up and looks too classy.

BRONSKI DELIGHT (3) received plenty of pressure after finding the front in a strong Saturday night contest last time out where she released for the trail. Unable to go on with it in the closing stages as APOLLO DREMZ powered home, she can release early here and try to mount a closing raid.

ALTA MAGACIAN (10) faced a forlorn task last start after retreating from gate 7 as FOR REAL LIFE stepped it out in front. A winner from this gate three back, he will be trying to make closing ground.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (4) forced the issue from gate 2 last start to take control and from the front was able to see it out with 2m to spare. She might just need to roll the sleeves for this assignment.

SELECTIONS: FOR REAL LIFE (6), BRONSKI DELIGHT (3), ALTA MAGACIAN (10), SHEZ ALL STYLE (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 6 / 3-4-9-10

RACE SEVEN

Placed in 6 of 8 for the season, the early map here will go a long way to determining if this is the day that WATERLINE (3) can claim the first win of her 3YO term. Runner-up at her past two, she can have an early look and getting across or finding space for the trail, she looks to get the breakthrough.

RANCHO MAN (2) is at his best when up on the engine and in recent starts, has been hamstrung by wide gates. Snagged back from gate 5 two starts back and then never a factor, he was a Redcliffe winner five back when finding the front and dictating. He gets the gate to throw it down.

VINCERO (1) has joined the Monica Betts team on the Winter pilgrimage from NSW. Previously prepared by Tony Higgs, he is not the best beginner and might just be buried.

JET FORCE (8) will be relying on not getting shuffled too far back from the inside second line. Finishing over the top of them at Redcliffe last start, he will be probing for open road.

SELECTIONS: WATERLINE (3), RANCHO MAN (2), VINCERO (1), JET FORCE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WATERLINE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

Resuming at Redcliffe three starts back, KELLY LOUISE (2) was sent around them early and despite the tough run, was able to graft out a determined victory. With one month until her next start, gate 5 behind HOLD ONTO YA BLING sorted her out. Leading them up when taking the bronze last time, she can arrive.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (1) was forced to park outside the leader last start after being unable to get across from gate 2, fading after the tough trip, it followed a 7m deficit after starting from the second line. A Marburg winner four runs back when leading throughout, he has all the options here.

MISS BAY KING COLE (5) is the big query for this contest, arriving from Victoria to join Shannon Price on a QBRED Breeders path. Not seen since December in a VicBred heat, she stays under watch.

ODINS BLACK CROWS (6) cops another tough gate after four successive second line barriers. Sent out as fav last start when 4th behind OUR UNCLE LES, he looked to have them licked two back, only to be collared by SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT.

SELECTIONS: KELLY LOUISE (2), WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (1), MISS BAY KING COLE (5), ODINS BLACK CROWS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: KELLY LOUISE (2) to win

RACE NINE

Lining up for his first run in Qld off the back of a spell, HIDE AND SEEK (1) was having his first look at the tapes here last time out and made a mess of it after being sent to the post in red figures. Taking no part in that contest after the error, he gets back behind the start car here which looks ideal.

KENETURIO (4) resumes from a spell after a solid 2YO term that wrapped up with a victory in the Triad Final to make it three wins for the term. With a smart trial behind some talented pacers in readiness for the return, she can issue the challenge fresh up.

HOLD MY HAT DOUG (6) should appreciate a clash against his own age after all 10 starts this term have been against the older performers. Fading from the breeze last start from the 20m tape, he steps out behind the mobile for the first time.

SELECTIONS: HIDE AND SEEK (1), KENETURIO (4), HOLD MY HAT DOUG (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HIDE AND SEEK (1) to win
