RACE ONE

Having his fourth start in May already, ITS MR CLOONEY (2) will get behind the start car for the first time this month after all three previous runs have been from the tapes. Gunned down here on Tues after leading from the 10m, he can run the arm and can look to pinch an open affair.

GLENELEDI BOY (1) was taken back from gate 5 last start and was too far back to get into the battle as STORMTIDE stepped it out in front. Strong to the line over the mile two starts back after retreating from gate 5, he lands the gate to stalk the speed and can be taking inside shots.

OUR ACTION MAN (3) was a winner at the mile here two runs back when taking control from gate 1 and fighting them off to score. Gate 7 ended his hopes last start and he can bounce back here.

SOEXTRA (8) faced gate 11 last week when trying to make ground against the tempo as UPTOWN BEACHGIRL controlled it from the front. 3rd to BLACKSADANCE two back, he will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: ITS MR CLOONEY (2), GLENELEDI BOY (1), OUR ACTION MAN (3), SOEXTRA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GLENELEDI BOY (1) to place

RACE TWO

Coming up with another second line gate, THE HIGH COMMANDER (9) has faced the back line at his past two in succession. Charging home to defeat CAPTAIN SHUFFLES two back, it was a forlorn task chasing as MY ULTIMATE BYRON carved it out in front last time. The set up looks right here.

HEZASHADOWPLAYA (4) forced the issue from gate 5 here two starts back and from the front, was part of a two-horse break away in holding on for a half-head margin over CLASSIE WASHINGTON with a huge margin back to 3rd. With a trial since his last start, he can throw it down again here.

CAMANCHI WARRIOR (1) was supported to start fav here tow starts back from gate 3 but forced to park out, was unable to land in the money. Not too far away last start, the available options suit.

SPEAK WITH SAM (8) worked forward to take control two starts back and once in front kept the pace genuine to claim a PB victory. Hitting the line hard last start when 2m away, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: THE HIGH COMMANDER (9), HEZASHADOWPLAYA (4), CAMANCHI WARRIOR (1), SPEAK WITH SAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HIGH COMMANDER (9) to win

RACE THREE

The early mapping looks intriguing for the 3YO boys in the Breeders feature with FOR REAL LIFE (7) given no favours from the outside paint. Going 2 for 2 since resuming, this is his biggest test since his all the way win back in August in the Triad. Lowering his PB at each start this term, he can power up to chase the threepeat.

FREE THINKER (5) began like a gazelle last start in from outside the front line in a Trot Rods scamper, easily getting across to the front to score an easy 8m victory. Buried when 3rd to FOR REAL LIFE two starts back, if he begins like last start, he will be in front and from there holds the keys to this contest.

APOLLO DREAMZ (4) has put together a smart record in limited appearances, recording 4 wins in his 6 starts. Finishing hard to claim the prize last start, he has trialled well since that win, where he lobs in the run looks a concern.

HOLD ONTO YA BLING (11) cops the extreme gate but finds the set up where the tempo should generate plenty of heat. If the swoopers are advantaged, he can be closing hard and after a slick last start win, can make a play.

SELECTIONS: FOR REAL LIFE (7), FREE THINKER (5), APOLLO DREAMZ (4), HOLD ONTO YA BLING (11)
SUGGESTED BET: FOR REAL LIFE (7) to win

RACE FOUR

Completing a hat-trick of victories at his most recent outing when taking them all the way from gate 7, TURN IT UP (6) can look to repeat the effort from the spot one horse closer to the poles. With his electric speed when the arms fold, he can take control, pinch the second panel and put them away.

PETES SAID SO (5) settled three back on the poles behind a genuine tempo last start over the 2138 when first up in a month. Looking for gaps as they swung for home, the saloon passage presented, and he had the speed to dart through and nab BLACKSADANCE. He can challenge again.

SPEECH IS SILVER (4) will take further benefit from his latest start when second up after a 12-month layoff. Strong to the line for the bronze, beaten 3m behind PETES SAID SO, he can chime in.

AMERICAN OUTLAW (1) has to step up against the big boys again but comes up with the right gate to be in the money. Under 4m from HOT AND TREACHEROUS last start, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: TURN IT UP (6), PETES SAID SO (5), SPEECH IS SILVER (4), AMERICAN OUTLAW (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TURN IT UP (6) to win

RACE FIVE

When the NSW trained mare JEWEL MELODY (8) landed in the noms for this race, there would have been a few local trainers to let out an audible expletive. After landing the inside second line, it may have tempered those feelings somewhat, but there is no doubting she is by far the class runner. A tough 2nd when parked outside PEACEFUL last start, she can build on her AP record of 4: 3-1-0.

TORQUE LIKE MOTION (1) would likely be a huge threat for this race with the absence of JEWEL MELODY had she drawn this same gate. A grafting 2nd last start when beaten a neck, she took them all the way in holding off HOLD ONTO YA BLING here four runs back. She gets a chance to challenge.

EXCITING TIMES (4) burrowed through from gate 1 last start to hold them out and from the front was able to take them all the way to her 5th win in a PB rate. The gate makes it a tricky ask here.

BRONSKI DELIGHT (10) released and chased in vain when best of the rest behind FOR REAL LIFE last time out. Pressured in front the start prior, she will be trying to launch a closing raid here.

SELECTIONS: JEWEL MELODY (8), TORQUE LIKE MOTION (1), EXCITING TIMES (4), BRONSKI DELIGHT (10)
SUGGESTED BET: JEWEL MELODY (8) to win

RACE SIX

This shapes as a top shelf mare’s contest bringing together arguably the best mare in Qld, the star juvenile on the comeback and the x-factor speed amongst a top quality line up. UPTOWN BEACH GIRL (6) has been dominant since resuming this term and was too big in front last start when first up at the 2138. Breaking the mare’s track record two starts back, she might need to roll the sleeves.

CAT KING COLE (2) will take benefit from her first up run when finding the front and dictating to claim an effortless 4m margin, her first run in 12 months. Dominating her 2YO term and claiming an APG feature in her shortened 3YO season, she can be first to the pegs which gives her the options.

RED TRIX (5) has been powering up in front in her races and bolted clear last week, in front by over 25m at one stage. Claiming the win by 18m to make it four on end, this is a tougher ask.

MISS MUCHO (3) keeps chipping away in the minor money and grabbed another 3rd last start to make it five placings in succession. Charging hard to get within 2m of RED TRIX two starts back, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: UPTOWN BEACH GIRL (6), CAT KING COLE (2), RED TRIX (5), MISS MUCHO (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Not treated kindly by the barrier draw, RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (11) will need a few factors in her favour to overcome the alley. Unbeaten in three starts, she claimed the Changeover Classic last start from the front. Chasing in her previous two wins, she looks a smart filly and can claim the quartet.

EVER ART (9) is a regally bred NSW trained filly, out of arguably Queensland’s greatest ever mare Forever Gold that arrives with a wrap. Forced to travel to Wagga from her Menangle base just to find a 2YO start, she was green but still dominated them in a 1.56.6 debut. With the race experience, she can follow through early to issue the challenge.

BETTOR CULLECT (2) impressed at the trials and then took that to the races when a 6m winner on debut at Redcliffe. It will be an ask here second up, but she claims a huge barrier win over the main rivals.

MORE SASS (7) took a shot at the APG Bullion Final at Menangle after starting her career 3 from 3 here in Qld. Not much went to plan in that race and slammed with the 7 here, faces a task.

SELECTIONS: RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (11), EVER ART (9), BETTOR CULLECT (2), MORE SASS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (11) to win

RACE EIGHT

A winner on debut when securing the trail and darting thorough along the passing lane in an APG heat, ATTACHMENT (2) was beaten by the second line in the Final of that series. Banished to the trials from his last start, he produced a sharp piece of work to earn the return ticket. Form the gate, he can look to capitalise.

MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (8) arrives for NSW trainer Jarrod Alchin and from inside the second line, maps to be stalking the likely leader. A debut winner at Newcastle, he claimed the silver in the APG Bullion Consolation. He will be tucked away and ready to fire the snipers shot.

BADLANDER (11) was luckless when making an error in the Bullion final two starts back and copped the ODM embargo. Scoring a strong win here on Tues when working three-wide, he can chime in.

BRONSKI ZULU (3) was forced to ease from gate 5 last start and made some late metres when 7m in arrears of RHLEE RHAYNE BOW. Settling handy, he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ATTACHMENT (2), MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (8), BADLANDER (11), BRONSKI ZULU (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ATTACHMENT (2) to win

RACE NINE

Two runs back this campaign for DANGERZONE (2) have seen him land gate 7 when snagging back early and unable to make ground against the tempo as MY ULTIMATE BYRON dominated and then landing the second line as LEAP TO FAME flexed in front. Third up from this gate, he gets his chance.

RACY ROXY (1) was fresh up for her 4YO term last start when taking a trail on CAT KING COLE and holding on for the silver. A winner at her last 3YO start in a QBRED feature, she looks to stalk the speed again and will balance up to issue the closing shot.

ALTA REVELRY (3) copped a double whammy last start in landing gate 7 in the same race as LEAP TO FAME. Under 2m from MY ULTIMATE BYRON two starts back, he is right in the fight here.

AALESUND (8) will be better suited here with the soft trip after being asked to work hard when parked here last start and finishing 8m from ALWAYSBME. She will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: DANGERZONE (2), RACY ROXY (1), ALTA REVELRY (3), AALESUND (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2 / 1-3-8

RACE TEN

This week’s standing start feature is over the 13 furlongs and the ever-consistent MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (4) can look to make his 50th Albion Park a memorable one. A winner three back when sent forward to sit parked, he was game in a track record run last start outside the leader and winner. He can get forward to make a play.

L L COOL J (7) is 2 from 2 this standing start season and overall has been in the money in 6 of 9 attempts. Settled in the 1x1 trail last start from the 20m tape, he was able to finish them off and claim a 2m margin. From the 10m tape over the long trip, he will be throwing down the challenge.

PORT AU PRINCE (6) made an error from the 20m when the tapes released last week. Resetting and then trying to get forward but repelled and forced to retreat, a safer start can see him feature.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (9) started from the 20m last week over the 2138 and was strong to the line to be 7m from the winner BOMBADIER JUJON. From 10m, he stays right in the mix for this battle.

SELECTIONS: MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (4), L L COOL J (7), PORT AU PRINCE (6), NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (4) to win

RACE ELEVEN

Off the back of a mammoth effort in defeat at the mobile mile two starts back, ADELLE (10) was able to secure redemption last start over the 2138 when sent forward early where she was then too tough from the breeze. A 30m impost is concerning against quality opposition, but she is up to the task.

CALL ME TROUBLE (9) is still chasing his first win since crossing the Tasman, but it is not through lack of effort. Producing some super runs since arriving, he grabbed 2nd from a 40m impost two starts back at Redcliffe and last start was strong to the line behind ADELLE. He can challenge again here.

RILEY MOMENT (3) is safe from the tapes and gets her chance to dart across from the 10m to up near the action. Grabbed in the last strides here two back when starting from 20m, she can feature.

RED HARBOUR (1) backs up from Tuesday where he made a mess of it early and looked like his day was done. Chasing hard, he ran up behind them in the stretch for a gallant 3rd. A safe start puts him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ADELLE (10), CALL ME TROUBLE (9), RILEY MOMENT (3), RED HARBOUR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ADELLE (10) to win
