RACE ONE

BONNIES CAM (9)
settled in the ruining line from three the second line over the AP 2138 last start when trying to make a late raid and finishing just out of the money. Only a head from REASON TO BE two starts back over the AP mile, with the right tempo he can descend upon them.

IMA BEACH BABE (1) capitalised from gate 1 at Marburg last start, burrowing through to keep them wide and then see it out on the front end with 3m to spare. Beaten a head here two starts back behind subsequent winner BAILEYS WITH LEGS, she has the gate to chase the repeat.

BEACH MAGIC (2) found the 1x1 trail in the Marburg contest claimed by IMA BEACH BABE but could not get going in the closing stages. Settling handy from this gate can see him in the mix.

ARTFUL MAID (5) was asked to work hard from a 20m mark under the standing start conditions last start and faded after the tough trip. Back to The Triangle where she has a smart record is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: BONNIES CAM (9), IMA BEACH BABE (1), BEACH MAGIC (2), ARTFUL MAID (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES CAM (9) to win

RACE TWO

DIEGO DELGADO (2) fired out from gate 1 here on Wednesday night where he was hoping to take them all the way. Worried out of it by BATMAN BART and claiming the silver, he can look to force the issue and from the pointy end try to last the trip.

SHAKATIE (7) has been running some nice races in recent attempts but just not getting the factors in her favour to make a winning attack. Eased from gate 4 last start and too far off them, she still closed in nice order which followed a 5m deficit behind FORTES IN FIDE. She can issue a challenge.

BUKTHSYSTEM (1) has been runner-up at his past two starts as he continues to build into his campaign after five runs back. Collared in the last strides last start at Marburg, he is in the mix.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (5) was beaten by the outside front line gate at Marburg last start but did make some nice metres in the closing stages wide out to grab 3rd. She can be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: DIEGO DELGADO (2), SHAKATIE (7), BUKTHSYSTEM (1), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-7

RACE THREE

MISTER HART (2)
is closing in on 12 months since his last victory but lands the right gate for this battle. Asked to grind it out from gate 7 over the AP mile last start, he faded in the closing stages. Last time he was able to lead, he was 1m away after being grabbed late. He can bust the drought.

TRACER BULLET (3) started from inside the second line last start and was buried in the run when searching for a gap that did not arrive in time. Covering plenty of The Triangle here two starts back when wide for a long way from gate 6, he can get handy here to issue a challenge.

BEACH ON FIRE (5) was trying to make it four in succession last start when striking trouble at Marburg which ended his chances. Finishing best over the AP mile two starts back, he has claims.

TEACHERS PET (8) was asked to roll the sleeves at Marburg last start and despite the tough trip after sitting parked, she was able to graft out a tough win. Trailing through early, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (2), TRACER BULLET (3), BEACH ON FIRE (5), TEACHERS PET (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER HART (2) to win

RACE FOUR

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8) is yet to land a win this season but should appreciate the opposition here where she can follow a smart beginner to hold position. Not too far away in stronger races at her past two, the latest from a wide gate, she is a five-time winner here and can chase the six pack.

FEELIN FLIRTY (2) has placed in three of his past four starts, the latest when 5m in arrears at Marburg after being left exposed early. Wide off the track when making his challenge from the second line here two back, he can set the tempo and lead them deep into the stretch.

ULTIMATE STINGRAY (1) was a winner here four starts back from this same gate when settled in the trail. Tackling tougher contests in the three runs since, he will be stalking the speed in readiness.

MALINJANG (7) faced the outside second line last start and was trying to wind up in the latter stages when 3rd to PRESS STATEMENT. With a cosy trip, he can be searching for gaps to chime in.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8), FEELIN FLIRTY (2), ULTIMATE STINGRAY (1), MALINJANG (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8) to win

RACE FIVE

SMOKING ZAK (2)
has faced the starter on four occasions here in Qld off the back of a spell and is yet to hist the board. Setting the tempo last time out over the AP mile, he faded late as SIR BOSTON closed best to score. With the speed to lead, he looks to have found conditions to see it out.

PERFECT FEELING (7) had an early look from gate 4 last time out at HQ and with no spot was forced to retreat to the rear. Under the circumstances the run was full of merit as he closed out in nice order behind QUEENSLANDER. Just needing an element of luck to fall his way, he can be rattling late.

FLASH FREDDIE (9) resumed from a spell with a win in a Trot Rods scamper, taking them all the way after darting through to hold the front. The gate does him no favours in search of another victory.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when finding the trail from gate 3 at Marburg. Beaten a neck here two back, she can get the soft trip to chime in.

SELECTIONS: SMOKING ZAK (2), PERFECT FEELING (7), FLASH FREDDIE (9), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SMOKING ZAK (2) to win

RACE SIX

BETTING BARON (1)
is on the back up from a last start victory where he was able to dart off the arm from gate 2 and once in front ease clear of his rivals to claim a 6m margin. Grabbed in the closing strides two starts back by subsequent winner BATMAN BART, he can look to repeat the dose.

LONDON LADY (7) rolled forward from gate 5 to sit parked here last start at her first run for the new stable and was able to graft it out to score by a pimple. With a soft trip on offer this time, she can stalk the leader and be ready to make a challenge in the stretch.

JET FORCE (4) was 9m from DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW here three starts back and then has tackled tougher opponents at his past two, both over the mile at The Creek. He can be chiming in here.

TRIOLI (8) has been freshened since her last appearance when finishing at the tail of the field. A hard mare to follow, she can land in the money with the right trip.

SELECTIONS: BETTING BARON (1), LONDON LADY (7), JET FORCE (4), TRIOLI (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  BETTING BARON (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

ROCK SUPREME (5)
struck trouble in the run last time out and was forced back to the trials. With the strength to work in the run if required, he might need to roll the sleeves to get into the contest here but if able to get forward cheaply, he is up to taking this.

LITTLE CHANGE (1) secured the ideal trip here last time out from this same gate, taking the trail and then finishing best in the stretch to claim a 2m margin. A similar scenario can unfold here and tucked in behind the speed can extricate in the stretch to mount the challenge.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (7) does his best work against the poles and afforded an inside run. He does look in fear of being shuffled back here, but he can be closing hard once the gap arrives.

MULLUM BOY (6) was deep field here on Wednesday night and was doing his best work when it was all over as SUNNY COVE saw it out from the front. This is stronger opposition and from a tougher gate.

SELECTIONS: ROCK SUPREME (5), LITTLE CHANGE (1), BEEF CITY BLAZE (7), MULLUM BOY (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

CROSSED LEGS (5)
does not receive many favours from the wide gate here but looks to have enough of an edge to defy her opponents. Sent out fav last start when returning from a spell from this same gate, she was making ground wide off the track to grab 3rd. The added fitness can see her home.

MAMMALS DESTINY (2) is on the back up from Friday at HQ where she looked a rough podium hope. Holding on for the bronze here four runs back when sent out deep into the red, she can settle up near the action to issue the challenge.

WHATA CHALLENGE (8) returns from a spell after finishing down the line at his last appearance back in February. With the right trail through in the early stages, he can chime in here fresh up.

THE MACH ARMY (7) will likely be buried in the run here but if he can spot a gap with track to work with, can be looking to grab some minor money.

SELECTIONS: CROSSED LEGS (5), MAMMALS DESTINY (2), WHATA CHALLENGE (8), THE MACH ARMY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CROSSED LEGS (5) to win
