RACE ONE

In a race where many of these are taking their first look at The Triangle, THE REAPER (5) lobs in with placings at three of his past four starts and importantly is a four-time winner on this deck. Chasing last start when 8m behind TOP OF THE MOMENT to hold 3rd, he finds the conditions to score.

NATTY PAGGER (7) has failed to his the board in nine attempts here, including three starts back where he took on the pacers in a Trot Rods event. Finishing in 5th when beaten the same margin at his past two starts behind TOP OF THE MOMENT, he finds the opposition to issue a challenge.

HAMMER SON (2) was making late metres last time out over the AP 2138 after starting form the front tape and finishing 2m from the winner MILLY AN EYRE. A winner off the front tape four runs back when finishing best to score, settling handy here can see him positioned to throw it down.

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

SAINT JUJON (2)

MORETTA (1) was forced to do it the tough way first over last time out but continued to fight to the wire when 4m in arrears of the winner in holding 2nd. A tough 3rd behind TEAM SPORT here two starts back, she has the gate advantaged and can burrow through to claim the maiden breaker.

BETTOR CULLECT (2) is a filly on debut for Grant Dixon by Gotta Go Cullect and is the first foal of Bettor Be Happy. With a solid preparatory trial where she did everything asked of her when finishing off nicely from four back on the poles to claim the trial. She is a big watch first up.

QUIK CHANGE (9) tackled the older horses from outside the front-line last start over the AP mile and was making some nice metres in the latter stages after retreating early. Back to his own age is a plus.

Placed in six of her past seven starts, KEAYANG TARA (1) looks to find the appropriate opposition and set up to claim a breakthrough. Buried three back on the poles last start when finding late space to grab 2nd behind SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT, the start prior she was just a half-neck away. This looks ideal.

ENGLISH DANCE (8) has been runner-up at his past three in succession, the latest when taking gaps on the passing lane to get within 3m of TORQUE TO THE MUSIC. Just a head away two starts back from inside the second line, he can get the right trip to issue a closing challenge.

SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG TARA (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

REGAZZO DI TILLY (3) has hit the board in all four starts since returning for his 3YO campaign, the latest from behind the speed and holding 2nd to FOR REAL LIFE. Beaten a head and then 4m in successive runs behind the smart WISPER A SECRET, he can throw it down to them here.

SOHO CASABLANCA (5) has been runner-up in two of his four on this deck and lines up with a pair of wins in his past three starts. Fighting them off from the front last start, the gate dents the chances.

MIKI MAGIC (1) was a winner here four runs back when taking control from gate 2 and once in front fought them off to claim a neck margin over the 2040 trip. Grabbing the bronze behind STRONG RESPONSE two starts back, she found her fellow 3YOs too slick last start. With options she can strike.

ROCK NIEN (8) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when doing plenty of work wide off the track from outside the second line. Under 5m from KARLOO BRADLEY two back, he can feature.

SUGGESTED BET: SHADOW MINISTER (3) to win

RACE NINE

A smart winner over the AP 2138 last start when swooping home over the top, HIPSTAR (8) has good figures here on The Triangle and should find the right map to chase another victory. A solid run under the circumstances two starts back from gate 5 behind OUR MAJOR DAY, he can capitalise.

MISTERFREEZE (9) did not have much go his way last start over the 2138 trip at HQ and would have been closer if any gap had of presented. Eased to find position two starts back when trying to make late ground behind LYRICAL GENIUS, he can secure the right cart home here to make a play.

DESPONDENT (1) has some tidy figures here at Redcliffe that show 16: 5-2-4. Not seen in April, he was taken back last start and faced a battle against the tempo behind THE HIGH COMMANDER. The gate is a huge plus.

O B LEGAL (3) claimed a 70Heat here two starts back after settling in the 1x1 trail and claiming a 5m margin over subsequent Saturday night winner OUR ACTION MAN. Beaten by gate 10 in the Final which was controlled in front by MR MCLAREN, he can be close enough to challenge here.

PLAYA BLANCA (1) could not get across from gate 2 last start after having an early look and then was wider when making nice metres to grab 2nd behind NO DOUBT. With all the options, she can feature.

YOUNG CONQUEROR (7) will be sweating on the 1 wanting to control the tempo and under that scenario would be stalking the speed. A gritty 2nd last start at Marburg, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: ASTERISM (5), O B LEGAL (3), PLAYA BLANCA (1), YOUNG CONQUEROR (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
