RACE ONE

Runner-up in all three appearances since crossing the Tasman, LYDIAS ART (1) secures all the favours to open his account. Making some late metres when 9m from OLLIE OLLIE last start, he had to settle for 2nd to TEAM SPORT when deep into the red here two back. He gets every chance here.

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (5) tackles the older performers again here after a midfield finish when 8m from BADLANDER in his own age at HQ on Tuesday. Collared in the closing strides here three runs back when runner-up to FIELDOFFICER JUJON, the wide gate dents his challenging hopes.

DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (7) looks set to enjoy an easy trip as the lone second line runner. Trying in vain to make ground from outside the second line last start, a peg trip looks more beneficial.

ULTIMATE HUNTER (2) started off the second line last start and never got into the contest as BETTOR CULLECT proved too classy. A 5m 3rd on debut, he can feature in this.

SELECTIONS: LYDIAS ART (1), NAUTIE GALVINATOR (5), DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (7), ULTIMATE HUNTER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1 / 2-5 / 2-5-7

RACE TWO

DOLLARBILL (5) delivered a starchy performance to score last start, making it an even dozen of wins on this deck to compliment his two dozen minor placings. Rolling forward from gate 6 to sit parked, he kept grafting all the way to worry the leader out of the prize. He can look to repeat the dose.

SHADYS DELIGHT (7) held on for the silver at Marburg three runs back when tucked away behind the leader and never really getting clear air. Making late metres form outside the second line at his next start, he looks set for the soft trip behind the speed here and if the gap opens in time, can challenge.

MAGICOL IDEAL (1) has led them up here on this deck on four previous occasions and converted that into a victory just once. He can burrow through again to light the lamps, can he have enough flame to light the final one?

SHE OWNS THE DAY (2) returns to Qld, this time for the visiting Monica Betts, to a track where she is a previous five-time winner. Midfield from the second line last start at Dubbo, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: DOLLARBILL (5), SHADYS DELIGHT (7), MAGICOL IDEAL (1), SHE OWNS THE DAY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLARBILL (5) to win

RACE THREE

Placed in both runs since arriving for a winter sojourn, COUNT MONTECARLO (7) was under 5m from the winner TERROR FLYING here last start when finishing as the runner-up. Angled off the poles early and working home wide off the track, with the right trip he can overcome the obstacles in this.

MISTER DELWIN (3) fired out from gate 1 last start to set the tempo when gripping on for the bronze as BULTHSYSTEM took the prize. Snagged off the arm from gate 4 over the AP mile the start prior, he can look to settle handy to the action and issue a closing challenge.

HOLLYWOODBOUND (6) was first up off a break last start when faced with the outside second line. Making a good impression in grabbing the bronze behind MAYWYNS LA NINA, she is in the mix.

MYNAMESEVAN (8) was resuming here last time out where he made the most of gate 1 to burrow through, keep them wide and see it out with 7m to spare. With the confidence, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: COUNT MONTECARLO (7), MISTER DELWIN (3), HOLLYWOODBOUND (6), MYNAMESEVAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: COUNT MONTECARLO (7) to win

RACE FOUR

A tricky race with some good front line gate runners. MAJOR HOLIDAY (5) is given no favours from the wide gate, but the right set up will help. Too far back chasing behind STRONG RESPONSE last start, he took them all the way the start prior over the AP mile and if landing handy can arrive.

OYSTER STRIDE (1) was a winner here from the second line two starts back when making a sustained run wide off the track and sweeping by to claim a 7m margin. Buried from the inside second line gate last start, he has arm hustle and can get off the arm to stake his claim.

ROCK HAMMER (7) will be relying on the 1 holding up so that he is close enough. Bumping wheels here on Monday when looming strongly, he then had to settle for the silver. He will be probing.

ILLBEWATCHING (9) made full use of the soft trip in behind the speed last start when darting through along the passing lane to score. Grabbing 3rd from this gate three back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR HOLIDAY (5), OYSTER STRIDE (1), ROCK HAMMER (7), ILLBEWATCHING (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Looking to remain undefeated since arriving in the Sunshine State, LOUS DREAM (2) makes his first trip up the Houghton Highway, stepping up to tackle this contest. Overcoming the second line to claim a 54.7 mile win last start and make it a hat-trick of wins, he has the gate to settle handy in what might also double as an audition for the Redcliffe Derby.

BEACH VILLA (9) is a newcomer to the Donny Smith barn and arrives a six-time winner. Last sighted in the 4YO APG Final at Menangle where MY ULTIMATE RONNIE saluted, it followed a 4th in the heat behind that same talented 4YO. Meeting stronger opposition consistently, he looms large for this.

BIG SHADOW (7) was buried in the run from inside the second line at his first Qld appearance on Tues when 9m in arrears of OFFYAROCKA CROCKER. Likely buried again, he will be probing.

PRESS STATEMENT (1) stepped up to tackle a similar 70Heat last start from this gate and with the good trip grabbed 2nd to HESTON ZOOLANDER. Off another soft trip can grab another minor.

SELECTIONS: LOUS DREAM (2), BEACH VILLA (9), BIG SHADOW (7), PRESS STATEMENT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LOUS DREAM (2) to win

RACE SIX

A winner here six starts back when landing this same gate over the same trip, HEZ ON THE BUZZER (1) can look to capitalise on the advantage from this starting point. Luckless here two starts back over this journey when 5m away and never sighting a gap, he gets his chance to dictate.

DANCE WITH SOMEBODY (7) was first up for Donny Smith last start when tackling a mare’s qualifier from inside the second line over the AP mile. Buried in the run, she was never in the hunt as ELOUISA DALE controlled it from the front. Likely to be stalking speed here, she can snipe.

MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (9) has a tidy record here on the Peninsula and was hitting the line smartly down the outside last start when a head from the passing lane winner RESTREPO. He can chime in.

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (2) takes his first look at this track and likely to be partnered by a driver taking her first look at the track. A grinding 3rd at Penrith two starts back, he can feature first up for the new barn.

SELECTIONS: HEZ ON THE BUZZER (1), DANCE WITH SOMEBODY (7), MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (9), BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  HEZ ON THE BUZZER (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

FOREVER MOMENTS (1)
started fav in her first run for Greg Franklin when tackling the AP mile last start on Apr 21 when working hard in the run and finishing 5th behind LAST TIME JOE. That form has been franked with the top 6 out of that race having all been successful since. She can continue the form relevance.

MOUNT HERCULES (4) started from outside the second line last start and was making good metres in the closing stages when 1m from the passing lane winner ILLBEWATCHING. 7m away after facing the second line two starts back, although drawn a little wide, it is his best in his past five outings.

ALTANA BLUE (7) was required to roll the sleeves and do the work last start when sent to sit parked from gate 5. Only 8m in arrears, he can secure the soft trip here and be ready to make a closing play.

MISSTREPO (6) secured the right trip in behind the speed here on Monday night and when sent to the passing lane was able to arrive in the last stride. With the right tempo she can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: FOREVER MOMENTS (1), MOUNT HERCULES (4), ALTANA BLUE (7), MISSTREPO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FOREVER MOMENTS (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

Continuing to run consistently without claiming a breakthrough in this grade, HEAVENLY WISDOM (6) has the wide gate to overcome in what shapes as a tricky contest to dissect. Rattling home last start to be just a head away, she was game when under 3m from QUEENSLANDER two back.

SWINGING GEORGE (1) was returning from a spell when starting at big odds and putting in a sound return when sitting parked and fighting to the wire when midfield behind SIR BOSTON over the AP mile. The second line thwarted his hopes last time and from the ace, he gets a chance to challenge.

LESVOS LAD (2) was a winner here four runs back when owning superior closing speed to arrive for the prize. With wide gates in the three runs since, the improved alley here is a big plus.

LITTLEDEE (7) will be further tightened from her latest outing where she was second up from a spell. Asked to do the heavy lifting first over when 7m from LANCELOT BROMAC, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENLY WISDOM (6), SWINGING GEORGE (1), LESVOS LAD (2), LITTLEDEE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE NINE

After claiming a drought breaking win first up for the new stable three starts back, GROVE DALE (1) has not been too far away in two subsequent runs over the AP mile. Midfield and perhaps able to have been closer with better luck behind QUEENSLANDER last start, the gate gives him every hope.

SUBTLE ADVICE (3) scored his 12th victory on this deck last time out when finding the 1x1 trail from the second line and finishing best to take a 3m margin. Grafting it out first over when just a half-neck away here two back, he can work if needed to throw it down.

ROLLED IN GOLD (6) has not had much luck with barriers in recent starts and was chasing from back in the pack last start when 7m in arrears of VINCERO. The gate dents the chances once again.

ROSARITO (7) started from this same gate last start and using the passing lane was 3m from the winner DOLLARBILL. With the likely easy trip, he will be awaiting the gap to make his raid.

SELECTIONS: GROVE DALE (1), SUBTLE ADVICE (3), ROLLED IN GOLD (6), ROSARITO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GROVE DALE (1) to win
