RACE ONE

Resuming from a spell last start and slowly away in the capacity field, RAZZLEME DAZZLEME (3) was buried in the run and had nowhere to go when needing space. Back to his own age, a smaller field and from the front tape, he can get the start right and look to open his 3YO account.

IM A GYPSY QUEEN (7) was chasing a hat-trick of victories two runs back when looking to take them all the way from the front tape. Holding 2nd behind a grinding THE REAPER, she was making a late raid last time when 2m from CONNIES PRESIDENT. Against her own age, she will throw it down.

YSMIR (4) stepped cleanly off the front tape last time out and once in control was able to see it out with a 2m margin. Back to 10m, she does get the benefit of the age conditions of this contest.

KENETURIO (5) made a mess of things last time and was out of play as EN MASSE claimed the win. Runner-up at both prior starts after returning a winner four runs back, she can bounce back here.

SELECTIONS: RAZZLEME DAZZLEME (3), IM A GYPSY QUEEN (7), YSMIR (4), KENETURIO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: RAZZLEME DAZZLEME (3) to win

RACE TWO

Pressing forward and taking control last start through the last 500, KAR MANOR (9) could not see out the 13-furlong journey, fading to finish midfield. Back to the middle trip here should suit after winning over this trip three back and following that with a close 2nd. This looks well within reach.

ALDEBARAN MISTY (10) has been in great form since arriving in Qld and can boast a win and two minors in his four appearances here. Starting from the 10m tape last week, she just kept coming over the closing stages to arrive for a half-neck margin. Despite the extra 10m, she is up to the task.

MILLY AN EYRE (2) features in a stable switch to join the John McMullen barn after a last start error ended her hopes. A winner two starts back when charging home after being buried, she can feature.

HAMMER SON (4) was hemmed away three back in the run last start when finding some late space to break free and grab the bronze. A similar trip can see him chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: KAR MANOR (9), ALDEBARAN MISTY (10), MILLY AN EYRE (2), HAMMER SON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: KAR MANOR (9) to win

RACE THREE

With the exception of her appearances in the McNeil Series, AURORA (2) has not seen the front tape this season. A return to seeing open track ahead at the start can be the catalyst for her finding winning form. Only 5m away two starts back, she gets her chance to end the winning drought.

NATTY PAGGER (12) was buried in the run last time after facing the 40m impost and tried to make a late raid. Off the 30m tape the start prior when THE REAPER was successful of 10m, from the 20m of this contest, he looks well placed to issue a challenge.

THE REAPER (8) found the ideal conditions here two starts back and was able to graft out a determined victory. Chasing gamely for the silver last start, from 10m he can make a play.

SET ME FREE (3) is another that should take some benefit off seeing open track ahead from the front tape. A good beginner when she gets it right, she can step here and give plenty of cheek.

SELECTIONS: AURORA (2), NATTY PAGGER (12), THE REAPER (8), SET ME FREE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: AURORA (2) to win

RACE FOUR

An open 2YO maiden here where quite a few are yet to show what they are capable of. On debut last time, FORCE FULL (5) retreated from gate 6 before making some nice metres in the closing stages behind subsequent impressive winner LETS GO BAILEY. He can open the account second up.

MAJORITA JUJON (3) was sent to the post as fav last time at Redcliffe and after finding the 1x1 trail, finished out of the money s MILLIEWOOD landed the prize. Runner-up here two starts back when 4m from GO COLOUR MY WORLD, she can get handy to issue the challenge.

DENIS THE PUNTER (2) took the trail from gate 1 last start at Redcliffe and then held on for the silver. He can look for the poles again here to finish in the money.

CYCLONE TONY (7) is still on the ODM embargo and has made critical errors at his past two starts. If he can manage to pace throughout, he might grab a minor in this line up.

SELECTIONS: FORCE FULL (5), MAJORITA JUJON (3), DENIS THE PUNTER (2), CYCLONE TONY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FORCE FULL (5) to win

RACE FIVE

A beaten fav when resuming here two starts back, BORELLA (1) was slow to muster and never a factor. Sharper second up when releasing and then bets of the chasers behind the super impressive winner NEPTUNE, with the added fitness and back to the mile, he can take his opportunity.

THE BEAUDEN BLUES (9) was large at his Qld debut when stretching SURE THING CAPTAIN all the way with that form franked by that talented 3YO winning since. This guy was required to hang tough when sent to sit parked from the second line last start at the 2138. He can challenge.

GO THE RED (2) was required to sit parked last start over the 2138m trip and after the tough trip, he finished out of the money for the first time in his career. An easier trip at the mile will help here.

GOLDEN BAY (8) was a smart all the way winner first up in Aus here four runs back but has been unable to replicate it since. Asked to sit parked last time, he should get the soft trip here to snipe.

SELECTIONS: BORELLA (1), THE BEAUDEN BLUES (9), GO THE RED (2), GOLDEN BAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BORELLA (1) to win

RACE SIX

Finishing out of the money in all three runs since claiming a Trot Rods event, FREE THINKER (12) would be needing to show his best here with The Hayden on his radar in a few weeks. Chasing last start as AARDIES FLASH carved it out in front, he was wide the start prior. He can flex here.

SKY BLU (4) is resuming from an NSW Oaks campaign and returning to Qld after her last appearance was a 6m deficit to PEACEFUL over the Menangle mile. Midfield in the NSW Oaks Final, she has trialled soundly in readiness for the return and can get forward to throw it down fresh.

INTO THE MYSTIC (1) made a winning start to her career when pressing forward from gate 4 to lead and from the front was able to dictate and with a nice last half claim a 5m margin. Stepping up to the middle trip against experienced performers makes it tough here.

NIKI BEACH (10) is a query runner, arriving in Qld with Shane Graham as a winner at his only start. That was in Dec ’21 from a wide gate as a 2YO in slick time. He stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: FREE THINKER (12), SKY BLU (4), INO THE MYSTIC (1), NIKI BEACH (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Returning to Qld with his new trainer Jason Grimson, SWAYZEE (7) was eyeing off the Patrons Purse but copped a ballot. Lining up here instead off the back of a three from three record for the new barn, je claimed the Goulburn Cup last start running a 54.3 last half. He should be winning this.

SURF ACE (10) closed out in nice order in a recent trial after he was given a hit out following a sub-par performance when fading out from gate 7 at the mile. Locked away from inside the second line two runs back, he can look to get a cart home to challenge in this.

LIFE LAVROS (5) is on the back up from Saturday night where a second line gate looked to make his task difficult. Not too far away the start prior behind YARRAMAN BELLA, he can be chiming in here.

MISTERFREEZE (11) was luckless here last week and went to the line without really offering anything. Only 3m from the winner two runs back, he can look to make a late play.

SELECTIONS: SWAYZEE (7), SURF ACE (10), LIFE LAVROS (5), MISTERFREEZE (11)
SUGGESTED BET: SWAYZEE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

A winner here three runs back when powering home form the second line APOLLO DREAMZ (3) followed that effort when 3rd in the Breeders behind REGAZZO DI TILLY. Not too far from QUEENSLANDER last time out, he finds the right set up to get forward and capitalise.

MAKARA (7) has hit the board in all three starts since arriving, the past two when drawn off the second line. Making late metres for the bronze behind AARDIES FLASH last time, he was game after working hard in the run two starts back behind MOSSDALE MAC and can defy the 7 here.

NOR WESTA (8) should be tucked away with an economical trip from this alley and be searching for openings to chime in. Striking the slick SURE THING CAPTAIN last time, she will be probing.

LANAI (4) will take benefit from his last start where he returned from a spell. Buried in the run, he was 7m from the winner BIG SKEWY when probing for gaps. He can be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: APOLLO DREAMZ (3), MAKARA (7), NOR WESTA (8), LANAI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: APOLLO DREAMZ (3) to win

RACE NINE

Hitting the board in all four appearances since arriving in Qld, SIR RICHARD LEE (3) looks to have found the ideal set up to go chasing another victory here. Releasing the front last start, he was best of the rest behind the richly talented 3YO SURE THING CAPTAIN. A winner at his previous two, he can bounce back.

MISTER REACTOR (9) was returning from a spell last time out when retreating from gate 4 to settle near the rear of the pack. Making some nice metres in the latter stages wide off the track, he strikes a race here that should generate plenty of heat where he can look to issue the closing challenge.

ALWAYSBME (10) was runner-up in a mare’s event two starts back when just a head from the winner. Game in defeat after sitting parked last time, she will be right in the fight.

ALTA SENSATION (5) returns from a spell after his last appearance in September when runner-up to TARGARYEN. With a smart hit out at the trials in readiness for the return, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: SIR RICHARD LEE (3), MISTER REACTOR (9), ALWAYSBME (10), ALTA SENSATION (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER REACTOR (9) each way

RACE TEN

BITCOIN (1)
has faced he inside second line at his past three in succession and been buried in the run on each occasion. With the chance to get back to the front line and burrow through to keep them wide, he secures his chance to look for an all the way victory.

BETTOR JIGGLE (10) will take good benefit from his run here last week where he was returning from a spell without any public trial. Chasing hard wide off the track after starting from outside the second line, he has the tough gate again but with more pressure in the middle stages, he can challenge.

APHORISM (2) eased from gate 7 last start and made some late ground to grab the bronze behind KASH US BACK. Working hard in tougher company two back, he can be close enough to strike here.

STAR GALLERIA (5) should appreciate his first look at veteran’s company after tackling some strong events in recent starts. Holding on for the bronze behind SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE two starts back, he was 4m from TIMS A TROOPER last start.

SELECTIONS: BITCOIN (1), BETTOR JIGGLE (10), APHORISM (2), STAR GALLERIA (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
