RACE ONE

ROCK SUPREME (2) Penny starting to drop for this fella winning 3 of his last 4, stepping up in class and comes back to The Creek and has the draw to have a crack. If he could find the top, he may be able to make it 3 in a row.

MISTER FONZI (1) Enjoyed the run behind the leader last start but got caught on the line. Likely to be locked up on the fence but he would be running into the first four if he got any gaps late.

ELOUISA DALE (5) A mare in great form, lead them up in a hot mares race on Saturday, back in class here and sectionally she has most of this lot covered. Her gate speed would have her barrelling to the top, if she can get there with comfort and settle, then she would be very hard to beat.

CHAMONIX (9) Last start was very eye catching, was booming home from last and hit the line full of purpose, the #2 drawn in front of CHAMONIX here and gets out fast, so if he was to follow it through and land the 1-1, then you would think he can go close.

SELECTIONS: ELOUISA DALE (5) CHAMONIX (9) ROCK SUPREME (2) MISTER FONZI (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ELOUISA DALE (5) to win

RACE TWO

IM BOO (1) Did it tough last start but managed to whack away and hold 4th. He has a lot of gate speed and the barrier to suit his strengths. If he was able to dictate the tempo, then he should provide you a good sight in front. The two red flags are that he sat parked last start which can sometimes undo a horse in its next start, and he has a horse in good form drawn directly behind him, may be vulnerable late.

PRINCESS LEIA (3) Last chance for this mare for me, she had a horrific trip last start, never got peace, and did a tremendous amount of work. But if she was able to lead or lob the 1-1 we should see an improved effort, but how much did last start take out of her?

DANIEL BOOM (8) Going to be getting an economical run after leading up last start in a hot field, this race is slightly easier for him and if he was able to settle in behind the speed then he would be a bright hope coming up the passing lane.

ARMA RENEGADE (9) Good 3rd behind a smart horse last start, was saving all the ground on the fence but she was one of the very few he hit the line with some purpose, she may land a handy spot here and be able to get over the top of them if the speed is on early.

SELECTIONS: DANIEL BOOM (8) IM BOO (1) PRINCESS LEIA (3) ARMA RENEGADE (9)

SUGGESTED BET: DANIEL BOOM (8) each way

RACE THREE

LUVBITE (2) Victorian raider whos shown plenty of ability, hes a wee nuggety type and has gate speed. He may take on the #1 horse early and try set a statement. On his sectionals in Victoria he will give this a good go and be right there with them, if he leads look out.

CONGO LINE (6) Loves a bad draw this fella, can never seem to land a handy spot but always runs home strongly and keeps ya interested. No doubt will be at big odds again but his best efforts would go awfully close and hes a must have for exotics. With luck he could be the blowout.

MO SZYSLAK (7) Seems to have found his feet since arriving in QLD, tough draw here but he has plenty of class about him and he would go awfully close even from the sticky draw. They may have to go back here and may have too much ground to cover but he will be running a race that’s for sure.

ALTA CLASSIC (10) Unbeaten at Redcliffe since arriving in QLD but this fella has a great turn of foot, he is up in class here and his biggest test so far, but the stables in some great form and with any luck he will be finishing strong.

SELECTIONS: LUVBITE (2) CONGO LINE (6) MO SZYSLAK (7) ALTA CLASSIC (10)

SUGGESTED BET: LUVBITE (2) win

RACE FOUR

SMOKIN BANDAR (10) Very impressive and beautiful grey trotter from New Zealand. First time overseas so naturally always a risk, but this lad has plenty of ability and has been competitive with NZs best trotters. Very dominant last start winner at Addington, he will be ready to rock and roll and one to watch over the carnival. Will take a world of beating here if he behaves, get on.

JACCKA WATCH (1) Hes an honest trotter and when he steps, he always tries hard and has the advantage off the front row, he can step and run and play catch me if you can. Definite chance for top 3/4.

INSTANT DELIGHT (4) Another ex-kiwi trotter whos been handling QLD well, a nice 4th last start off a 40m handicap, and a good winner the start before that. He is in some solid form and while this is a step up in class he can make use of the front row draw and can step and roll.

PHOEBE ONYX (11) Going well since arriving in QLD back in May, gave a nice trotter Adelle a gun run last start and whacked away for 3rd. This is not easier this race and a 20m handicap to deal with but, he’s rock hard fit and the distance shouldn’t be an issue.

SELECTIONS: SMOKIN BANDAR (10) PHOEBE ONYX (11) JACCKA WATCH (1) INSTANT DELIGHT (4)

SUGGESTED BET: SMOKIN BANDAR (10) win

RACE FIVE

AALESUND (2) She refuses to throw the towel in and try’s her best, likely outgunned here but if she was able to launch and cross the one she may enjoy being on the fence and taking the short way home.

CAMANCHI WARRIOR (9) Nathan jumps on here, and the horse has been going better than the form suggests. Been unlucky in the majority of his starts since arriving in QLD, but there may be an immense amount of speed here and could be finishing off with purpose.

DANGERZONE (6) Monster win last start, came from the clouds to salute on the line, hes a horse with plenty of ability and is drawn inside the key race rival. Unsure if the lead will be there but hes going great guns and a huge chance to go back to back.

TITIAN RAIDER (7) Fresh up for Jason Grimson, this horse has run 1.50 mile rates at Menangle, key driver engaged, no doubt this fella will be turning up to party, and has the class to take this out from the sticky draw. Expecting a hot mile rate here.

SELECTIONS: TITIAN RAIDER (7) DANGERZONE (6) CAMANCHI WARRIOR (9) AALESUND (2)

SUGGESTED BET: TITIAN RAIDER (7) win

RACE SIX

HAMMERS LAW (11) Victorian raider who impressed me at Redcliffe last start, should find it easier to get around Albion Park and find a nice rhythm, 10m handicap so will have to navigate a bit of traffic but is a bold chance.

ZEALOUS SPUR (1) A very naughty trotter, loves a break, would need to cross ya fingers and toes if you back him, but on his best he does trot well and has some solid speed. He may settle in front and roll along, good place hope.

GLOBAL FLIGHT (2) Put a line through last start, manners are usually good. He can roll along in front and set a tempo that suits him and be right there in the finish.

SCRUFFY DOOLAN (6) Impressed me after an early gallop, worked home solidly and if he was drawn in closer, I would be more bullish. May have to navigate some traffic but if he settled in the right place, he would finish of the race well.

SELECTIONS: HAMMERS LAW (11) ZEALOUS SPUR (1) GLOBAL FLIGHT (2) SCRUFFY DOOLAN (6)

SUGGESTED BET: HAMMERS LAW (11) win

RACE SEVEN

EXCITING TIMES (1) A mare whos shown great fight, she loves racing on the fence, and is wonderfully drawn to be leading them the whole way and win. She wasn’t to far away from them on a 1.53 mil rate last start, and no one in this field should be running that speed here. She’s clearly on top, with her gate speed and barrier draw.

BLING THE LUCK (8) Drawn to receive every possible, should be leaders back throughout and she should fill a minor placing.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (9) A mare who has more upside than most here. She has a decent draw but may be too far away from the speed to take this one out, you can be sure she’ll be finding the line well and going awfully close.

FILLY THIRTEEN (3) Was a good 4th last start, may be able to come out for a sniff and duck onto the back of the #1 if the #8 is sleeping on the job. If she was able to secure the back of the leader she would be a nice each way bet, behind the speed.

SELECTIONS: EXCITING TIMES (1) FILLY THIRTEEN (3) GOLDIES A DELIGHT (9) BLING THE LUCK (8)

SUGGESTED BET: EXCITING TIMES (1) win

RACE EIGHT

WHERES OUR MONEY (4) Awesome win last start at Redcliffe jogged home in a 1.55 mile rate, hes a big strong horse whos got great gate speed, I expect them to be very forward and run them along and play catch me if you can in front.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (1) A horse whos always there or there abouts, she has enough gate speed to make the most of the #1 draw, no doubt will do enough to secure the spot behind Wheres The Money and then is a cracking each way chance if he runs along in front.

ARKIN WICKED (5) This fella has a bit of ability, but is drawn outside the likely leader so may have to sit parked and do it tough. On his best efforts he will go very close in this field.

BLUE BLOODZ (8) Fence should be your best friend in a race like this, I expect the leader will run them along and then this fella will just be sitting quiet 3 fence and then get a crack at them late in the race, must have for your exotics.

SELECTIONS: WHERES OUR MONEY (4) SHEZ ALL STYLE (1) ARKIN WICKED (5) BLUE BLOODZ (8)

SUGGESTED BET: WHERES OUR MONEY (4) win

RACE NINE

SARASUN (2) Scintillating trial winner by a massive margin, this filly looks ready to go and will be set to dominate this field and should be winning by a margin.

WATERLINE (4) Has shown glimmers of ability been running well her past two, lead won’t be there for her, and she may have to sit parked, a chance here though.

LITTLEDEE (1) She has enough gate speed to perhaps secure the run on the favourites back, she should provide some cheek and could be at a juicy place price.

REGAL NIGHT SHADE (8) He may be in the best barrier draw to run 3rd, going to be 3 fenced behind the fav but should enjoy taking the short way home along the fence and could emerge late in the straight and snag a placing.

SELECTIONS: SARASUN (2) WATERLINE (4) LITTLEDEE (1) REGAL NIGHT SHADE (8)

SUGGESTED BET: SARASUN (2) win

RACE 10

GO COLOUR MY WORLD (5) A very boujee winner last start he sailed around the bend in very fancy style, this horse has a bright future and really hit the hopples strongly. I expect another very forward run here, even from the sticky draw.

BADLANDER (8) Cant cop a front row draw which really hurts here, likely buried on the fence with no where to go, but with any luck he will be bolting home, and has a lot of ability and has a bright future.

LETS GO BAILEY (7) Comfortable winner at Redcliffe last start, this is much harder and drawn #7 you’d hope he’s on his game, because he will have to do a power of work to achieve the hat trick of wins, definitely capable and a chance here with luck.

CRUZ JOSHUA (1) Forgiving last start, gets #1 here and has a few options, he possess some gate speed and can hand to the right horse and may fill the minor end of exotics.

SELECTIONS: GO COLOUR MY WORLD (5) BADLANDER (8) LETS GO BAILEY (7) CRUZ JOSHUA (1)

SUGGESTED BET: GO COLOUR MY WORLD (5) win

Slide10.JPG

RACE 11

SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (1) Nice filly who looks to still be learning her trade, was a tad green in her trial, but was a very comfy winner. Gets the dream draw for a debut, will be very hard to beat.

CAPTIVANTE (6) Showed nice gate speed last start and ran a solid 2nd behind good horse Jackson Town, she has a nice touch of speed to her, she may come for a sniff early and take on the debutant. Raceday experience will help, and she could find the top. Top chance if on speed.

SWEETNSPICY (7) Was hitting the line nicely behind a good horse Jackson Town, drawn terribly here, she can perhaps run into the minors with some luck.

HASTY BID (8) He has shown me enough to be a genuine threat on the back of the #1 here, as long as he can follow the helmet and cement the position on the leaders back he will be running a drum.

SELECTIONS: SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (1) HASTY BID (8) CAPTIVANTE (6) SWEETNSPICY (7)

SUGGESTED BET: SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (1) win
