RACE ONE

ALTANA BLUE (1)
is close to another victory after finishing as the runner-up at his past three in succession and looks to have found the right set up here. His last win was under these same conditions, stepping to the front and taking them all the way. He can replicate that here.

MI FURIOSO TORO (8) has put together some handy numbers from the tapes on this deck, winning one and finishing as the runner-up twice from his four attempts. With a safe step, he will be in the firing line to issue a challenge.

MISTY CREEK (10) has the big 30m impost to overcome but should be able to get up some good steam to chase the field. A two-time winner on this deck, he has the class to overcome the impost.

KEAYANG TARA (3) makes here first appearance from the tapes and backs up from Friday night at HQ where she was drawn to prominent. Settling handy can see her in the money.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (1), MI FURIOSO TORO (8), MISTY CREEK (10), KEAYANG TARA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ALTANA BLUE (1) to win

RACE TWO

THE MACH ARMY (1) sat in the trail from gate 1 at Redcliffe last start at his first run for the new stable but could not go with them over the closing stages. He can be tucked in here and sweating on open space, if he gets the gap he can claim a race where all runners are chasing winning form.

DONT YOUBE NAUGHTY (2) has been placed at her past two, the latest when CIRCLE LINE was able to arrive over the top. 4m away when setting the speed here two starts back, she can take control again here and be gripping on.

TODAYS HERO (4) was asked to roll the sleeves and graft it out here last start and was game in defeat when under 2m from the winner DUKE. He can do it the tough way once again.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6) will be locked in the box and hoping a gap arrives with track to work with. Buried last start and chasing, he will be probing here.

SELECTIONS: THE MACH ARMY (1), DONT YOUBE NAUGHTY (2), TODAYS HERO (4), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

BULLDOG BRAWLER (9)
returns to Qld after a Victorian stint. Joining the Anthony Collins team, his recent Mildura form has been from second line gates where it is hard to get into the contest. He has the back line to contend with here, but his record on this deck is smart at 12: 3-5-2.

MELTON MAX GENTLE (2) started fav in an open betting contest on this deck last start but was unable to get across from three and was soon in deep field and never able to get a crack at them. With good arm hustle, he can look to find the poles from where he can issue a challenge.

RISKY BUZINESS (6) found conditions last start where it looked a race in two and the race panned out as such. Forced to settle for the silver, he will be searching for openings from this alley.

BELLA GODIVA (5) was sent out fav last start at Redcliffe from outside the front line and after retreating early was never really a factor. The wide gate makes it a tough ask again here.

SELECTIONS: BULLDOG BRAWLER (9), MELTON MAX GENTLE (2), RISKY BUZINESS (6), BELLA GODIVA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BULLDOG BRAWLER (9) to win

RACE FOUR

GRAYSON (1) was making his first appearance in Qld here two starts back when having a look for he lamp lighting duties but has the challenge repelled. Holding on for 3rd thereafter, he can look to burrow through and protect the poles here and from the front will take some stitching.

MISTER WOODPORT (3) has a win and a pair of minors in his seven appearances on this deck and brings a last start 6th to the discussion of this contest. Well beaten after retreating from gate 4 in that battle, he has the gate to get closer to the action and throw down the challenge.

MY SECRET BEACH (4) found the pocket trail last start at Redcliffe when out of the money but only 3m in arrears of the winner MAFFIOSO GIRL. The wider gate makes it a little tricky in this set up.

LA PISTOLA (6) does not have the most inspiring numbers next to his name but should appreciate the chance to be tucked in behind here and try to grab some minor money.

SELECTIONS: GRAYSON (1), MISTER WOODPORT (3), MY SECRET BEACH (4), LA PISTOLA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GRAYSON (1) to win

RACE FIVE

MY GIRL MANDY (3)
settled int eh 1x1 trail last start over the Redcliffe 1780 and was making some late metres when 3rd to DIEGO DELGADO. Fading out after doing early work the start prior, she can look to get near the action and finds the right conditions to arrive.

CROSSED LEGS (1) is winless in eight attempts here at the Little M and comes into this after a last start midfield return on The Triangle where she did not really get warm in the closing stages. With the benefit of the inside gate, she can look for a sharper response.

BATED BREATH (8) makes the trip North from the New England region off the back of a smart trial at Redcliffe. The second line makes it a tough ask.

THE HARRIS HAWK (4) returns to the stable of Graham Dwyer, with figures of  7: 2-3-1 when previously preparing the gelding, he lines up here with a last start 3rd and stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: MY GIRL MANDY (3), CROSSED LEGS (1), BATED BREATH (8), THE HARRIS HAWK (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MY GIRL MANDY (3) to win

RACE SIX

MYNAMESEVAN (5)
was looking for a hat-trick two starts back when faced with gate 6 in the Breeders Consolation. Game in defeat after pressing forward and working hard in the run, he takes his first look at this track and despite the wide gate, can force the issue to stake his claim.

ASTROPHILIA (9) resumes off a freshen after her last appearance when claiming a narrow victory at The Creek, hitting the line strongly in the closing stages. That followed a maiden breaker at Narrabri and despite the tough gate, she can throw it down in search of the threepeat.

GOTTA DREAM (7) was down the line last time out in a much tougher contest claimed by subsequent impressive winner FOR REAL LIFE. A Redcliffe winner three starts back, he has claims.

CHARLIE MY BOY (3) is unplaced in two appearances on this track, but his last start 3rd suggests in this type of line up, he can chase a podium return.

SELECTIONS: MYNAMESEVAN (5), ASTROPHILIA (9), GOTTA DREAM (7), CHARLIE MY BOY (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  MYNAMESEVAN (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

MISSTREPO (1)
has had four previous attempts on this deck without victory but looks to have come up with the ideal set up to change that here. Faced with the second line last start at Redcliffe when 8m from GOLDIES A DLEIGHT, she can be ready to take her shot.

TE QUIRO (9) fired out from 5 last start at Redcliffe but could not see it out as SUBSTITOOTH was able to take the win. That was her first run for the new stable after returning from a spell off the back of a slick trial. Despite the second line gate, she can throw it down second up.

TRALEE MAXIE (2) was a gritty winner three runs back at Redcliffe and then came to this track and had no luck from outside the second line. Back into this grade from the gate he can feature.

COPY WRITER (5) has no favours from the wide gate but has placed on two from three here at Marburg. With the right trip she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MISSTREPO (1), TE QUIRO (9), TRALEE MAXIE (2), COPY WRITER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISSTREPO (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

ASTERISM (8)
has been bereft of luck in recent starts, facing a string of wide and second line gates. Eased from gate 5 last start to the poles and then finishing midfield behind SIR RICHARD LEE. The second line will ask some questions, but he looks to have the answers.

SAILALONG SINBAD (1) has a top record her on this deck and as at his best when able to get forward and roll in front. A winner two starts back when leading form this same gate and taking them all the way, he will burrow through and give them the target to hit.

GLENLEDI COMMANDER (3) was a winner four runs back from gate 2 at Redcliffe where he was able to take control and see it out. Drawn poorly in all four since, he can get forward to feature.

BIG SKEWY (6) will need a slice of luck from this alley as he waits for some space to break free. Backing up from Friday night at The Creek, he will be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: ASTERISM (8), SAILALONG SINBAD (1), GLENLEDI COMMANDER (3), BIG SKEWY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ASTERISM (8) to win

RACE NINE

LYNTON CREEK (1)
may have found the conditions to open his Qld account at his third attempt. Beaten a neck here tow starts back after trailing and then finding an inside gap, he faded last start when setting a solid early tempo at Redcliffe. He has the gate to capitalise.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (6) was not suited here last start when wide off the track trying to make a closing raid. A second line gate was his undoing two runs back and with the chance to stalk the speed, if the gap can open in time, he can look to issue the challenge.

TWENTYNINE TWELVE (9) has had two Redcliffe runs since arriving in Qld, the latest when hitting the line smartly to be just 3m from the winner. He can be chiming in down the stretch.

DELIGHFUL RAINBOW (3) is winless in her five attempts on this deck but has the gat and opposition to look to alter those numbers. Not too far from subsequent winner ROCK SUPREME two back, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: LYNTON CREEK (1), CHANCELESS CENTURY (6), TWENTYNINE TWELVE (9), DELIGHFUL RAINBOW (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-9
