RACE ONE

ARMA RENEGADE (3)
will take her first look at Redcliffe for NSW trainer Scott Hewitt, arriving as a seven-time winner. With 12 months elapsed since her last victory, her recent form has been behind stronger opposition, the latest behind FREDDY SINGH. She has the speed to capitalise.

HEZASHADOWPLAYA (6) overcame the second line last start when powering home in the closing stages off a strong tempo to claim a similar graded race over the AP mile. Taking his first look at The Triangle, the gate hurts but another solidly run contest can see him issue the closing challenge.

ROSES ARE SWEET (8) has a smart record on this deck and is effective off speed, which this contest should generate. Runner-up from gate 6 at HQ two runs back, she can trail through to be in the mix.

EAGLE COMMANDER (7) was making some nice metres here last start when runner-up to CAPTAINS PICK in smart time. The gate is tricky here but if the gaps open, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: ARMA RENEGADE (3), HEZASHADOWPLAYA (6), ROSES ARE SWEET (8), EAGLE COMMANDER (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (6)
was looking to remain undefeated on this deck last time out when tackling a 70Heat from the inside second line. Buried and out of luck, he was midfield as CAPTAINS PICK took the prize. Despite the wide gate, he can forced the issue and bounce back.

HE SAID SHE SAID (1) loves the fence run and lands the perfect gate to suit his preferred pattern. Finding them a little too slippery last start over the AP 2138, his 3rd here from the second line three runs back was a tidy effort and he has the options here to challenge.

ROYAL PRINCESS (7) was looking to see it out from the front-end last start but was collared in the closing strides by CANT BLUFF YOU. With the economical trip, she is in the mix.

MULLUM BOY (2) chimed in for the bronze last start behind QUARTZITE which followed a tough trip from the outside front line over the 1780. Settling handy, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (6), HE SAID SHE SAID (1), ROYAL PRINCESS (7), MULLUM BOY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (6) to win

RACE THREE

ROCK SUPREME (4) overcame gate 6 here two starts back when tackling easier company where he was able to get forward and dictate. Buried last time from inside the second line and grabbing the bronze, he can get forward here and look for the forward flex.

BLACKJACK BART (6) is still chasing his first victory here at Redcliffe but again receives no favours from a wide gate. Doing it tough from this gate last time out when sent to sit parked, he was collared late here two back by BETTOR TO BE TRICKY. Despite the gate he can throw it down again.

GEIRANGER RAINBOWS (9) takes another step up, but she has taken each rise in recent appearances and will chase a threepeat of victories. Overcoming this gate last start, she will be thereabouts.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR (3) was exposed early before receiving running line cover last start but could not go on with it in the closing stages. He can be handy enough to chime in.

SELECTIONS: ROCK SUPREME (4), BLACKJACK BART (6), GEIRANGER RAINBOWS (9), GABBYS SPORTSTAR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK SUPREME (4) to win

RACE FOUR

DINOSAURUS REX (5) has really showed a penchant for the peninsula in his winter visits, wining five and placing twice in his 10 attempts here. Powering over the top of them at his past two starts from stiff gates to score in smart fashion, he can chase down the threepeat.

PARTY POLOTIX (1) comes up with the options, with enough early speed to burrow through should they look to dictate. Runner-up to FORGIVE ME last start from the trail, she took them all the way over the sprint trip here four runs back. In a tricky contest with plenty of form, she can challenge.

FIVE STAR GEM (3) takes his first look beyond 1780, coming into this contest with a last start victory over the sprint trip when leading throughout. Settling handy, he is right in the fight.

TEACHERS PET (2) is winless at the middle trip in 14 attempts, filling the minors in five of those. Runner-up at her past two, she will get handy and will be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: DINOSAURUS REX (5), PARTY POLOTIX (1), FIVE STAR GEM (3), TEACHERS PET (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DINOSAURUS REX (5) to win

RACE FIVE

GO THE RED (8)
has put together a smart record with three wins from his four starts. Returning to kick off his 3YO season in a Trot Rods event, he mixed speed and stamina when sitting parked to take a 2m margin. With the added fitness, he strikes a race that looks ideal for him to go again.

SHORT LEG SUE (2) was the runner-up here lasty start when firing out from gate 3 to search for an all the way victory. With the bite put on her late by DINOSAURUS REX to be 5m ion arrears, she has the gate to fire early bullets again and attempt to issue the challenge.

MAGICOL IDEAL (5) has the wide gate to negotiate but can be looking to force the issue on a track where he has a better than 50% top-3 strike rate. Runner-up here two back, he can feature.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (7) was a winner here three starts back and has placed in both runs since that win. In danger of being buried from this gate, she will be searching for the openings.

SELECTIONS: GO THE RED (8), SHORT LEG SUE (2), MAGICOL IDEAL (5), TORQUE IN CONTROL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GO THE RED (8) to win

RACE SIX

WANDARY DELIGHT (1)
resumes from a spell to kick off her 3YO term, sent for a break following her 2YO maiden breaking victory in November. Holding up early before releasing from this same gate on that occasion, she has trialled in nice order for the return and finds a winnable contest fresh up.

TULHURST PEBBLES (4) was exposed early before receiving running line cover at her first look at this track last time out and was a close 2nd behind LYDIAS ART. A beaten fav last start when trying to see it out from the front, she can be close enough to issue the challenge here.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (7) should secure the economical trip here and be searching for gaps to chase some minor money. Just a neck away last start from this same gate, she will be probing.

EYEDUNNO (3) burnt some early petrol last start in trying to hold a forward position and then faded over the latter stages. Getting handy from the gate cheaply will aid her chances.

SELECTIONS: WANDARY DELIGHT (1), TULHURST PEBBLES (4), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (7), EYEDUNNO (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  WANDARY DELIGHT (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

TARDELLI (3)
has not been sighted at the races since claiming the 2YO Sales Final here last year where he scored in slice time to take his record to seven wins in eight appearances. Trialling like a jet on this deck in readiness for the return, he oozes class and can return in style.

HOLD ONTO YA BLING (2) was 3rtd to TARDELLI in last year’s 2YO Final and since that outing has shown his own share of talent. A smart winner over the AP mile three runs back when finding the front from gate 7, he looms as the main threat, if there is one.

YOGI (1) faced a tough trip last time out in the Breeders Consolation, finishing down the line behind CARTER GRANT. With the easy trip in behind the action, he can hold a minor to cement the final spot.

SELECTIONS: TARDELLI (3), HOLD ONTO YA BLING (2), YOGI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Trifecta 3-2-1

RACE EIGHT

MATAI REACTOR (4)
was eased from gate 4 last start to settle in the running line before trying to launch a closing raid and grabbing the silver behind TINSLEL TIARA. Midfield the start prior over the AP mile, he can be looking to power up in the closing stages.

PERFECT FEELING (9) was sent to the post as fav last start where he was sent forward from gate 5 to take control but was left vulnerable in the closing stages. Strong to the line here two starts back when grabbing 2nd, he can be issuing a closing challenge.

POM PAY (6) was a last start winner over the AP mile, making the closing play a winning one after facing a second line gate. The wide gate stings here, but she can be chiming in.

GLENROCK (5) was a first up winner in Qld when scoring in a Trot Rods scamper. Tackling the middle trip at HQ last start when midfield and not too far away, a return to Redcliffe looks suitable.

SELECTIONS: MATAI REACTOR (4), PERFECT FEELING (9), POM PAY (6), GLENROCK (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

FOR REAL LIFE (2)
has placed in both previous starts here on The Triangle which came here last year in the 2YO Series, including grabbing 2nd behind TARDELLI in the Final. Chasing a hat-trick of wins last start in the Breeders Classic, gate 7 proved a hurdle too high in an effort full of merit. He should be too classy off this gate.

REGAZZO DI TILLY (3) was locked away three back on the poles last start over the AP mile in the Breeders Classic Final, waiting for a gap to make his play. When the space presented, he let down strongly and arrived for the upset over FOR REAL LIFE. He can look for the repeat.

SAN MAREA (5) scored a starchy victory last start when sitting parked over the 2138 at HQ and fighting them off to take a 5m margin. A three-time winner on this deck, she can grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: FOR REAL LIFE (2), REGAZZO DI TILLY (3), SAN MAREA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi exacta / trifecta 2 / 3-5

RACE TEN

TAKE A CHANCE (3) has improved at every outing as he searches for the maiden breaking victory, placed in three of his five against his own age. He steps into a mixed maiden contest here after a gritty performance last start when under 3m from the winner GEM PUNTER PETE. This looks his.

MISS SYRAH (2) was beaten by a wide gate last start when retreating to find position before trying to make late metreage. Tackling a mixed maiden like this three starts back, she was trying to see it out in front when 3m in arrears and with eh chance to find the poles can issue a challenge.

DOC JUJON (8) was on debut last start when asked to sit parked and sticking on gamely as subsequent winner GOLDEN FIRE took the prize. Following through early, he is in the mix.

TUFFY (4) has been runner-up at his past two starts as he chases what is proving an elusive first victory. Just 3m away last start, he has podium claims once again.

SELECTIONS: TAKE A CHANCE (3), MISS SYRAH (2), DOC JUJON (8), TUFFY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TAKE A CHANCE (3) to win

RACE ELEVEN

SKYGIRL (2) darted through to set the tempo last start from gate 1 and from the front was able to hold on to claim a 4m margin in a mixed aged contest. Eased from gate 5 in the Breeders Classic Final, it was a sound effort behind EVER ART. She has the gate to capitalise.

TEGAN LEE (1) was a winner on debut when darting off the arm to take them all the way over this trip. Tackling a tougher open age event and striking trouble second up, she then made an error in the Breeders Classic. Against this opposition from this alley, she can issue the challenge.

LORD MEMNOCK (8) was sent to the post in red figures here last week at his race debut. Asked to sit parked, he had to settle for 2nd when 3m astern of the winner. The added experience is a plus.

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (6) is given no favours from the outside paint but he has placed in two of his three here on his home deck. Runner-up to LYDIAS ART here three back, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: SKYGIRL (2), TEGAN LEE (1), LORD MEMNOCK (8), NAUTIE GALVINATOR (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-8
