RACE ONE

SHOOBEE RIGHT (3)
has had two runs back from a spell with both of those at Albion Park. Striking a much stronger maiden contest last start when second up, he was looking for short cuts as INTO THE MYSTIC claimed a smart win. With the added fitness and improved gate, he gets his chance.

TRUE ORIGINS (5) chalked up another minor last start to make it four in succession, following the leader and winner when 2m adrift. The wide gate makes it a tougher challenge, but she continues to push closer to the account opener.

PRIORITY BETTING (7) was an improver last start when making some late metres after retreating from gate 6. With the more economical early trip, he has podium claims.

MINARUA (4) was not suited last start when asked to sit parked and after the tough trip faded in the closing stages. Limiting the work will be vital to her chances of chiming in.

SELECTIONS: SHOOBEE RIGHT (3), TRUE ORIGINS (5), PRIORITY BETTING (7), MINARUA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SHOOBEE RIGHT (3) to win

RACE TWO

FAMOUS THREE (5) was having his first Qld appearance on this deck last time out when pressing forward to take control but ultimately eased out of the contest when choking off. Banished to the trials, he earned the return with a tidy hit out and despite the wide gate can throw it down.

DOWTOWN LUCCA (1) has had two runs back from a spell, the latest when wilting after a tough run when sent to sit parked from gate 6. Not too far off the winner GLENROCK when resuming in a Trot Rods blitz, he comes up with the gate to burrow through and with options thereafter can strike.

HEAVENLY SEA (9) was making a late raid here two starts back to get within a half-neck of the winner. Beaten by gate 6 last start, she can be chiming in here.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (7) was a winner from the passing lane here two starts back and lands the map to be tucked in again awaiting the space. With that trip, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: FAMOUS THREE (5), DOWTOWN LUCCA (1), HEAVENLY SEA (9), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FAMOUS THREE (5) to win

RACE THREE

COUNT MONTECARLO (2)
has had three attempts here on The Triangle and been able to place in all three. Making a late raid here last time out when 4m from the winner THE EX HORSEIST, he was rattling home here two back when runner up to MYNAMESEVAN. Settling handy, he gets his chance.

FINANCIALLY STABLE (1) returns from a spell after four starts early in the season where he was racing greenly and ultimately copped a stand down embargo after an error at his last start. After a break, his recent trials suggest he can be finding winning conditions in a race of this type.

FULLOFIT (3) was having her first Qld outing here last week when sent forward early. Sitting parked the remainder, she was game to claim a fighting 2nd. Tightened from that run, she looms large.

MAGIC NITRO (7) broke through for a maiden breaking win last time out when descending on them in the closing stages. With a soft trip, she can be chasing some minor money.

SELECTIONS: COUNT MONTECARLO (2), FINANCIALLY STABLE (1), FULLOFIT (3), MAGIC NITRO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE FOUR

KHULAN KID (1) will take benefit from his latest appearance when resuming from a spell and facing a second line gate. Trying to make a late raid in that, he claims a big gate improvement and, in a race, where many have questionable credentials at the middle trip, he has the options to cash in.

SIR BOSTON (9) was a winner here last time out when racing in the trail from inside the second line, finishing with superior speed to claim a narrow victory. A winner over the mile at HQ three starts back, he takes his first look at ten furlongs as he looks to issue the challenge.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (2) has the best record at the middle trip of any runners in this contest, her latest start when 3rd over the AP 2138. From this gate she can get forward to feature.

GROVE DALE (4) is unplaced in his two attempts beyond 2000m but brings a last start win on this deck to the conversation. Pressing on to lead and fight them off from gate 5, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: KHULAN KID (1), SIR BOSTON (9), HEAVENL WISDOM (2), GROVE DALE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: KHULAN KID (1) to win

RACE FIVE

MACH TORQUE (9)
secured the 1x1 trail last start but could not go on with it as GOLDIES A DELIGHT got the right trip to take the prize. Her last attempt over this 2040 trip was four runs back when descending on them to score and despite the tricky gate, she is up to taking this.

UNREAL FEELING (8) was taking her first look at this deck last start when sent forward from gate 3 to sit parked. Grafting out a determined 2nd placing when beaten a lip, he will take plenty of benefit from that run where he was first up in 11 months. With the right trip he can throw it down.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (3) is a four-time winner at the middle trip and finished over the top of them here last start after facing a second line gate. Settling handy to the action can see her in the mix.

VERMONT (7) was a winner here two starts back when burrowing through to hold them out and take them all the way. Locked away, she will be searching for the gaps to chime in.

SELECTIONS: MACH TORQUE (9), UNREAL FEELING (8), GETALOADATHISGIRL (3), VERMONT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MACH TORQUE (9) to win

RACE SIX

BORDERLINE (4)
started from the second line last start and making a wide run was able to grab some minor money behind GETAOADATHISGIRL. Beaten a half-neck three runs back over the AP mile, she looks to have found suitable conditions for a breakthrough.

MAGICAL FLICK (7) made the most of the inside alley last start when holding them wide, dictating and claiming a maiden breaking win. Needing to take another step up into this grade, she will secure the economical trip and will be searching for gaps to issue a challenge.

VALLANI MAGIC (8) is a newcomer to the Donny Smith barn that arrives a three-time winner. Fresh up without a local trial, she stays under watch.

IT AINT ROYAL (1) showed no hustle from gate 2 last start when finishing midfield behind GROVE DALE. Leading them up two starts back over the sprint trip at HQ, he secures all the options here.

SELECTIONS: BORDERLINE (4), MAGICAL FLICK (7), VALLANI MAGIC (8), IT AINT ROYAL (1)
SUGGESTED BET:  BORDERLINE (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

JAY TEE TYRON (2)
fired through from gate 1 to set the tempo here last time out and was trying to fight off the challengers when finishing with the silver, a half-head in arrears of the winner. Making late metres to grab the bronze behind SAN MAREA the start prior, he finds conditions to strike.

FOVEAUX MAJOR (1) found suitable conditions here last start when easing from gate 4 to find the running line before owning superior closing power to arrive for a head margin. Strong to the line at Marburg the start prior from outside the second line, he can throw it down from the improved gate.

PUSHINIT UPHILL (9) will take good benefit from his latest appearance where he was resuming from a spell. Asked to do it the tough way when parked, it was a solid return and he can chime in second up.

ASHLEE NITRO (5) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when chasing home for 3rd behind MISS EXCLUSIVE. The gate stings but any excess tempo on the front end brings her into the mix.

SELECTIONS: JAY TEE TYRON (2), FOVEAUX MAJOR (1), PUSHINIT UPHILL (9), ASHLEE NITRO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JAY TEE TYRON (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (7)
will be relying on some factors in her favour, in particular the 1 looking to take them all the way. Under that scenario, she will be stalking the speed and if still carrying momentum when the gap arrives, she will be hard to stop. A return to this deck is in her favour.

RIVERINA FLASH (8) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when easing from gate 5 to find the fence and hoping for some luck. Picking a few off over the closing stages behind FORGIVE ME, he can look to get the right trail through in the early stages to issue a challenge.

MELTON INSULTED (2) eased to the inside from two the second line last start and was trying to make late metres when midfield behind FORGIVE ME. She can be handy enough to chime in.

MISS MIA (4) held on for the bronze in the fastest Trot Rods heat of 2023 three runs back and then last start was not too far from FOREVER MOMENTS. Despite a potentially awkward gate, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: WONDERWOMAN JUJON (7), RIVERINA FLASH (8), MELTON INSULTED (2), MISS MIA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WONDERWOMAN JUJON (7) to win

RACE NINE

NO DOUBT (7)
will be sweating on having some momentum getting to the passing lane and if he is able to get the gap in time, he can make the closing shot a winning one. Looking to see it out in front last start in slick time, he was just 3m from the flying RED RIGHT HAND. He just needs the gap.

IM FEELING FIREY (9) was buried away last start after angling to the inside for some short cuts and chased hard to be 4m from the winner ELOUISA DALE. Similarly snookered the start prior as FUTURE ASSURED carved a monster mile, this will be just his 2nd appearance on this deck.

DANCE FOR GLORY (6) claimed a 70Final two starts back when crossed early but working back off the inside to flex his muscle. Despite the wide gate and his first look at this deck, he can feature.

ALTA CLASSIC (8) was first up in Qld when facing gate 6 over the 2040 on this deck. Eased off the arm to settle rearward, he was strong to the line to claim a 3m margin. He can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: NO DOUBT (7), IM FEELING FIREY (9), DANCE FOR GLORY (6), ALTA CLASSIC (8)
SUGGESTED BET: NO DOUBT (7) to win

RACE TEN

FOREVER MOMENTS (2) has been in the money at her past three starts, with wins sitting either side of a luckless 2nd behind MISS EXCLUSIVE. Forcing the issue from gate 4 here last week and proving too strong, she has the gate to get forward and look to make it three from four on The Triangle.

MISS EXCLUSIVE (6) is in search of a hat-trick of victories after successive wins over this trip. Overcoming gate 5 here last week when finding the 1x1 trail and finishing best to take the prize, the gate does her no favours in search of the threepeat.

ROCKSLIDE (9) was sent to sit parked from this gate last start and after the tough trip was still grafting to the line when 5m from the winner. The gate makes it no easier once again.

TOM KAT (1) was a winner here five runs back from this gate when burrowing through to lead and taking them all the way. Facing wide gates in all four runs since, the improved gate is a huge asset.

SELECTIONS: FOREVER MOMENTS (2), MISS EXCLUSIVE (6), ROCKSLIDE (9), TOM KAT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FOREVER MOMENTS (2) to win
