RACE ONE

After starting her career in style by completing a hat-trick of victories, MORE SASS (1) was given her chance in an APG Bullion Final at Menangle when finishing down the line. Beaten by a wide gate in the Breeders Final last start, she is fresh for this assignment but has the gate to capitalise.

BY ULTIMATE COSSIE (7) has had just two career starts, starting his career in a bullion heat at Menangle back in April when down the line behind SOHO SPECTRE. Leading throughout at Penrith second up, he joins the Gemma Hewitt stable and with a smart trial, can issue a challenge.

DELE ROW (5) broke the maiden status here two runs back when firing out from gate 4 to take them all the way. Snagged back last start from this gate, he comes into this fresh up.

BRONSKI ZULU (4) was just a half-head away in the Breeders after settling in the 1x1 trail. Fresh into the Paleface last week, it was a nice effort from gate 7 and settling handy, he is right in this.

SELECTIONS: MORE SASS (1), BY ULTIMATE COSSIE (7), DELE ROW (5), BRONSKI ZULU (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

A mixed maiden where the 2YO CRUZ JOSHUA (4) can look to defeat the older performers to open his account. Eased from gate 6 last start as GO CLOUR MY WORLD dictated in the Paleface Adios Classic, he was runner up to that same winner two runs back. This looks his chance.

SWEETNSPICY (2) chased home for the bronze last start behind DELILAHS GIRL from this same gate. Not suited when asked to sit parked from gate 7 two runs back, she can settle handy enough to challenge.

FIAS CHARM (10) is a 3YO Hurrikane Kingcole filly on debut for Trent Dawson. With a tidy trial in readiness for her first appearance, she is in the mix.

CAPTIVANTE (7) rolled forward to sit parked from this gate last time out to do the tough stuff outside DELILAHS GIRL. Runner-up here two starts back, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: CRUZ JOSHUA (4), SWEETNSPICY (2), FIAS CHARM (10), CAPTIVANTE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CRUZ JOSHUA (4) to win

RACE THREE

Showing gate speed on debut at Leeton back in February, SYNCHRONIZER (3) was beaten as the odds-on fav and was sent back to the paddock. Returning at Wagga last start, she zipped home a smart last quarter up the passing lane to score. She can look to make her Qld debut with a win.

CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (5) found the pocket trail here three runs back and when the gap opened zipped through to open his account. 4m from the smart RYLEE RHAYNE BOW at his next outing, he comes into this fresh off the Breeders where gate 10 ended his chances. He can challenge fresh.

MAJORITA JUJON (2) faced the second line on debut when not too far from the winner, then was runner-up to GO COLOUR MY WORLD second up. Breaking maiden ranks last start, she is in the mix.

QUIK CHANGE (6) was buried in the run here on Sat night and hit the line strongly in the closing stages to be under 3m from the winner. The gate does him no favours.

SELECTIONS: SYNCHRONIZER (3), CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (5), MAJORITA JUJON (2), QUIK CHANGE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SYNCHRONIZER (3) to win

RACE FOUR

Beaten on debut at Ballarat when starting deep into the red, BALBOA ROCK (5) makes the trek to Qld for trainer Emma Stewart for this series. Striking trouble at that first race appearance, he had trialled in nice style and can bounce back here second up.

MILLIEWOOD (2) faced the inside second line here two runs back and was locked away when finishing just outside the money behind GO COLOUR MY WORLD. Pressing forward from gate 4 to set the tempo last start, she was able to break the maiden status and can challenge from this gate.

ATTACHMENT (8) tried to take them all the way from gate 1 in the Breeders last start but could not finish them off and was swamped in the stretch. Fresh up here with second line options is a plus.

LETS GO BAILEY (6) was chasing a hat-trick of victories here two starts back when sent out as the fav from gate 7 but faded out after a tough trip. Faced with a similar fate last start, limiting the burn will be key.

SELECTIONS: BALBOA ROCK (5), MILLIEWOOD (2), ATTACHMENT (8), LETS GO BAILEY (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

ARCHILLES (4)
had the hustle to lead early before releasing here last time out before finishing just out of the money behind THE VICAR OF DIBLEY. Runner-up to SARASUN two starts back, he can look to get handy from this gate and finds conditions to capitalise.

SHESA POCKETROCKET (8) was wide from gate 5 on The Triangle two starts back and was able to grind out a 5m victory. Buried in the run last start and not really gaining the gaps when needed, she can get a soft peg trip here and be ready to take her shot when it opens.

GROVE DALE (1) features in a stable change to join the Ben Battle yard off a last start 3rd at Redcliffe where he tried to take them all the way. With good arm hustle, he will be gripping on.

ODINS BLACK CROWS (2) was first up for the new stable when claiming a gritty Redcliffe win after rolling forward to sit parked. Tackling a strong 3YO event last start, he can bounce back in this grade.

SELECTIONS: ARCHILLES (4), SHESA POCKETROCKET (8), GROVE DALE (1), ODINS BLACK CROWS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-8

RACE SIX

Talented 3YO FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (6) resumes from a spell for another campaign off the back of an early season win back in February before being sent for a break after finishing 2nd as a long odds-od fav. Fired up in a trial in readiness for the return, he has the class to fire fresh.

DELILAHS GIRL (9) was beaten deep into the red at her first Aus appearance at Redcliffe when finishing 5m from the winner COSMIC FLYER. Bouncing back with a smart maiden breaking win on this deck last time, she can trail through and look to issue some form of challenge.

DOC JUJON (7) chases a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at Redcliffe, the latest an emphatic romp where he claimed a 16m margin with a further 22m back to 3rd. The gate stings.

WHATA JOURNEY (8) will be relying on a slice of luck to go her way as she is in danger of being buries. Locked away last start behind THE BEAUDEN BLUES, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (6), DELILAHS GIRL (9), DOC JUJON (7), WHATA JOURNEY (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

An open contest on offer here with sone varied form line converging. REDS STAR DEAL (2) was luckless last start when buried on the poles and losing all momentum as the WHERES OUR MONEY skipped clear to score. Grabbing 2nd when he finally found space, he can be handy to take this.

QUEENSLANDER (8) will be requiring some factors in his favour from this alley. Banished to the trials after an error in the Redcliffe Derby Consolation, he claimed a Saturday night 3YO event here three back after being hemmed away. Just needs the gaps to arrive in time.

MUSIC MOTH (4) claimed an easy victory at her first Qld appearance when rolling forward from gate 4 at Redcliffe to led throughout. Due to contest the Redcliffe Oaks consolation when scratched, she has claims.

AURORA JOY (1) arrives with the visiting Bern Hewitt team off the back of a last start 3rd at Bathurst. A two-time winner here as a 2YO, she has the options to feature.

SELECTIONS: REDS STAR DEAL (2), QUEENSLANDER (8), MUSIC MOTH (4), AURORA JOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: REDS STAR DEAL (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

This looks the perfect drop in grade for BETTERTHANAROCKET (9) to bounce back to winning form after recent efforts have been in much tougher grade. 9m from PETES SAID SO in Saturday company last start, he was just a head from ROCKNROLL HAMMER three back. He should be too slick.

WHATA ROLLER (3) was asked to sit parked last start over this trip and was still there with 150 to go when finishing 7m aster of the winner KING OF TRUMPS. With good arm hustle, he can look to spear across and with options thereafter issue the challenge.

LANOCH BOY (1) was a winner here four runs back from gate 6 after floating back early and then cruising past to an 8m margin. Not far away in three runs since, he can stalk the speed.

O B LEGAL (4) returned from a spell in fine order with a first up win at Redcliffe when powering home in the closing stages. Positioning cheaply will be key to his hopes.

SELECTIONS: BETTERTHANAROCKET (9), WHATA ROLLER (3), LANOCH BOY (1), O B LEGAL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTERTHANAROCKET (9) to win

RACE NINE

With eight starts to her name since joining the Dixon stable OH DADDY (1) has drawn gate 5 or wider in seven of those appearances. The other was a gate 2 outing where she speared to the front when 3rd to CLASS TO THE MAX. With all the options from the gate, she gets her chance to cash in.

LYRICAL GENIUS (6) ran the hands off the clock in the closing stages last start when charging home from deep field to be 6m astern of the winner HOLY CAMP DILLON. Prior to that he had to tackle open company from the second line behind TURN IT UP and a return to this grade is a huge help.

HY VOLTAGE (9) charged through from gate 1 to hold them all wide last start and set a solid tempo in front, only fading late as PETES SAID SO rocketed home to score. Settled off speed, he can feature.

TALENT TO SPARE (5) will strip fitter following her latest appearance where she was third up from 12 months off the scene. Claiming a mare’s qualifier last start, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: OH DADDY (1), LYRICAL GENIUS (6), HY VOLTAGE (9), TALENT TO SPARE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

RED RIGHT HAND (11) has been in great touch since arriving in Qld, his latest effort where he was the only runner to make ground off the track behind CAPTAIN SHUFFLES. Chasing a hat-trick of wins two starts back when wide late behind BEACH VILLA, he will be relying on some tempo to descend.

SIR RICHARD LEE (1) missed the money for the first time on this deck last time out when faced with gate 10 over the mile where he was sent to sit parked outside the smart CAPTAIN SHUFFLES. Runner-up his previous three in succession, he lands the marble to throw it down here.

CLASS TO THE MAX (5) was runner-up last start when buried in the run before finding a gap to be best of the chasers behind DON HUGO. The gate is tricky here, but he is in the mix.

BIG SKEWY (10) was locked away on the poles last start as CAPTAIN SHUFFLS dealt from the front, able to finish midfield. Placed his previous three in succession which followed victory, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: RED RIGHT HAND (11), SIR RICHARD LEE (1), CLASS TO THE MAX (5), BIG SKEWY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: RED RIGHT HAND (11) to win

RACE ELEVEN

Not a great deal has been in the favour of MY ULTIMATE LEVI (9) since arriving back in Qld with a mix of bad draws, bad luck and circumstances against him. Using the passing lane to get within a head of the winner BIG SHADOW three back, he was buried last start. With even luck he can arrive.

SUBSTITOOTH (2) was sent around early from the second line last time out at Redcliffe to sit parked and was grafting it out all the way when 3m from the winner. Grabbed in the closing stages two back, he gets back to the big deck and finds the chance to dictate to throw it down.

MISTER FONZI (1) was a passing lane winner over the middle trip here two starts back from this same gate. 8m astern of LAST TIME JOE last start, he can stalk the speed.

CANT BLUFF YOU (8) closed out hard here three starts back when runner-up to BURNS BAY, just a neck from the winner. He will get the economical trip and be searching for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE LEVI (9), SUBSTITOOTH (2), MISTER FONZI (1), CANT BLUFF YOU (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE LEVI (9) to win
