RACE ONE

This is a wide open 2YO contest where a case could be made for any runner. A winner at his second career outing, FACT FINDER (2) will take plenty of benefit and experience from the run where he found the front and saw it out in smart fashion. He has the gate to make them chase.

CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (4) has had a mixed season to date and last outing was down the line in an APGF heat top miss the final. Fresh up in that event following the Breeders Final where he faced the outside second line, he will strip fitter and from this gate make his presence felt.

GEM PUNTER PETE (5) broke the maiden tag last start when bustling forward before taking cover and then making the passing lane shot a winning one. Placed his first 3 starts, he can feature here.

BEACHRIDE (8) arrives from NSW as a two-time winner and a last start 3rd in a NSW Breeders feature at Menangle where he started fav from gate 9 and was required to work. He has second line options.

SELECTIONS: FACT FINDER (2), CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (4), GEM PUNTER PETE (5), BEACH RIDE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

In a race that looks to generate some solid tempo through the middle stages, MISS BAY KING COLE (6) looks to find the right set up to claim her third win here at The Creek. Just 6m away int eh Redcliffe Oaks Consolation last start, she was runner-up in both prior runs and can bounce back.

WHERES OUR MONEY (7) claimed a threepeat of victories last time out when allowed to balance up early before being sent forward to take over with 1000m to travel. Once in front, he powered up to pull clear. With an average margin of 17m in his past three wins, he will throw it down hard.

PEPPA BLISS (4) was asked to sit parked at Redcliffe last start where she faded over the closing stages to finish near the rear. With a similar run here two back, an easier transit can see her feature.

CUSTOM NIKE (5) was buried from inside the second line at Redcliffe last start and keen in the run faded to finish rearward. Back to a front-line gate, she can roll forward to chase a podium return.

SELECTIONS: MISS BAY KING COLE (6), WHERES OUR MONEY (7), PEPPA BLISS (4), CUSTOM NIKE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

A return to the main draw following two runs on the ODM embargo can be the catalyst for GIRL FORM ROSEDALE (1) to bounce back to winning form. Luckless last start from outside the second line at the 2138, she can burrow through here and look to dictate.

THE TAX CULLECTOR (9) returns to the Turpin stable after a NSW campaign earlier in the season for David Thorn where he claimed two Penrith victories. Not asked of much in a recent preparatory trial, he finds a race that should generate some tempo to issue a closing challenge fresh.

ROCK SUPREME (7) has been in career best form with four wins and two minors in his past six starts. An effortless winner in front last start in a PB 1.53.8, the wide gate makes it a tough ask here.

ROCKSLIDE (8) should secure an economical trip in behind the speed and be ready to offer when the gaps arrive. Midfield last start at Redcliffe from gate 4 at the 2040 trip, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: GIRL FORM ROSEDALE (1), THE TAX CULLECTOR (9), ROCK SUPREME (7), ROCKSLIDE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GIRL FORM ROSEDALE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

FULLOFIT (2)
makes her first appearance here at HQ after finishing runner-up in both Redcliffe appearances since arriving in Qld. Making what appeared a race ending error last start, she reset and charged late to still grab the silver. On the big deck she finds the right race to cash in third up.

ARCHILLES (1) had an early look last start but when repelled was left to lead the one-wide line where he sat well back from the leader. Edging closer down the back stretch, he was just 2m from the winner in a blanket finish. Still chasing his first win of the season, he has the options to challenge.

ODINS BLACK CROWS (3) was a Redcliffe winner three runs back when sent forward to sit parked and grind it out. Trying to see it over the mile here last start when 3rd, he is right in the fight.

FIAS CHARM (10) was on debut from this same gate last start when settled in the running line. Making a strong charge over the latter stages to claim a 3m margin, the added experience is a plus.

SELECTIONS: FULLOFIT (2), ARCHILLES (1), ODINS BLACK CROWS (3), FIAS CHARM (10)
SUGGESTED BET: FULLOFIT (2) to win

RACE SIX

Second up in Qld after joining the Ben Battle stable, JACCKA LUCAS (2) should appreciate a move to the front line on the big deck. Starting from inside the second line at Redcliffe at his first outing, he was chasing in strong time. With good speed off the arm, he can fire out and be gripping on.

HARRY KANE (5) tackled a 2200m contest at Marburg last start when exposed early before cover arrived. Midfield when 6m astern of the winner, he was a handy winner three runs back at Redcliffe when floating back and with the right set up here, can issue a challenge.

ROCK IT BABY (1) has struggled to put it together this season, missing the board in all six appearances. Down the line last start behind ROCK SUPREME, the gate is a plus in this line up.

AURORA JOY (4) was locked away three back over the mile last start and was just behind the placings when 5m from AMAMI. Settling handy, she is a podium hope here.

SELECTIONS: JACCKA LUCAS (2), HARRY KANE (5), ROCK IT BABY (1), AURORA JOY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  JACCKA LUCAS (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

After struggling to put things together, AMAMI (4) has found some rhythm and lines up here chasing a hat-trick of victories. Rolling forward from the outside second line to graft it out first over here last start, he pulled clear to claim a 3m margin. A smart winner at the 2138 two back, the threepeat is on.

BETTING ORIGIN (2) sat parked at Marburg in the Western Star last time out and despite the tough trip was in for the fight to be just a half-neck from the winner ALWAYS SMOKIN. A tough 3rd behind AMAMI after sitting parked here three back, he has the gate to throw down the challenge.

MIDNIGHT CALM (9) has been freshened since his last appearance where he was asked to sit parked as the fav but faded to the rear. A passing lane 2nf to RED RIGHT HAND two back, he can feature.

IM BOO (1) pressed forward from a wide gate at Marburg last to set the tempo but was unable to see it out when holding 3rd. Fading in front here two starts back, he will be trying to grip on.

SELECTIONS: AMAMI (4), BETTING ORIGIN (2), MIDNIGHT CALM (9), IM BOO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: AMAMI (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

A tricky race to line up here but the ever consistent if not sometimes luckless CLASSIE WASHINGTON (9) can look to grab the cash. From 16 starts this season, just two have been in mid-week company where he has a win and 3m margin behind MR MCLAREN in a 70Heat. He is up the task.

AMERICAN OUTLAW (10) has been kept fresh since his last appearance where he started fav from gate 2 and after releasing the front was midfield to SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE. Tackling open company two back, he has trialled in smart order and despite the wide gate can challenge.

LYRICAL GENIUS (7) has no favours from the gate but has been sectionally strong in recent starts. The effort was better than the returning number last start and he can be finishing off late here.

OUR ACTION MAN (6) sat in the pocket trail last time out and when the gap presented was able to find space for a narrow victory. Buried in the run behind CANTFINDABETTORMAN the start prior, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: CLASSIE WASHINGTON (9), AMERICAN OUTLAW (10), LYRICAL GENIUS (7), OUR ACTION MAN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CLASSIE WASHINGTON (9) to win

RACE NINE

He would not have been out of place in the Sunshine Sprint, but TAIPO (3) will instead have to stake his Blacks A Fake claim in this battle. Just a head from SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS at each of his past two starts, he can get forward here and be too slippery.

SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE (9) was asked to do it the tough way here two starts back when sitting parked and despite the toll, held on for the bronze behind PETES SAID SO. With a 54.6 last half from the front last start when chasing, he can press through early and look to issue a challenge.

MAJOR MEISTER (10) settled in the running line last start but could no go on with it as BLACKSADANCE claim the Wondais Mate. Runner-up to NERANO two back, he can chime in here.

MAJESTIC CRUISER (2) last tasted victory when claiming the Blacks A Fake last year and has faced second lien draws in both Qld appearances this campaign. Settling closer here, look for a sharper return.

SELECTIONS: TAIPO (3), SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE (9), MAJOR MEISTER (10), MAJESTIC CRUISER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TAIPO (3) to win

RACE TEN

A winner over this trip at her first look at The Creek last time out, SOVIET STUNNER (3) finds conditions not too dissimilar. Pressing on from gate 4 to take control and pull away with 11m to spare, she has the gate to force the issue again and make them chase.

BACK TO BETOOTA (1) eased from gate 6 at Redcliffe last start and making a swooping challenge in the closing stages was just a half-neck from the winner. A narrow victor on The Triangle three runs back, this is a step up as he tackles a middle trip for the first time. The gate helps his cause.

DELIGHTFUL LOU (4) eased from gate 5 last start and was looking for the shortcuts behind CAPTAIN SHUFFLES. Runner-up in a mare’s qualifier two starts back, she takes her first look beyond a mile.

BOSCH (10) ws a Redcliffe winner four runs back when darting through on the passing lane to score. Grabbing the bronze at each of his past two appearances from this same gate, look for him late.

SELECTIONS: SOVIET STUNNER (3), BACK TO BETOOTA (1), DELIGHTFUL LOU (4), BOSCH (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SOVIET STUNNER (3) to win
