RACE ONE

SPORT MENTAL (3) was first up back in Qld last time out when sent to sit parked and was grinding it out to the line in finishing 3rd. She can settle handy to the speed again here and with the right trip can stake a claim.

MISS MIA (5) was faced with the outside second line here last time out and was wide off the track over the latter stages but had the speed to arrive for a tidy victory. The gate stings but she is up to repeating the task.

GOODTIME HAYLEY (6) has no favours from the outside paint but was game here last start at what was her first look at this deck. Holding on for the bronze, she can feature again in this.

BEJIGGITY (1) eased from gate 5 last start before making some late metres behind TE QUIRO. With her bast gate for some time, she can be tucked away in readiness to chime in.

SELECTIONS: SPORT MENTAL (3), MISS MIA (5), GOODTIME HAYLEY (6), BEJIGGITY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS MIA (5) each-way

RACE THREE

MONTEREY JACK (5)
has started from inside the second line at his past two starts, snookered away last start and easing one off here two runs back when midfield and officially 7m from the winner OUR UNCLE NEV. He can press forward from this alley and finds the right set up to capitalise.

OCTOBER RACKETEEER (2) started from this same gate last start where he settled in the 1x1 trail but after pulling three wide at the 400, could not go on with it and finished 10m from the dictating winner PRINCE JOY. He can be close enough to challenge here.

PAGO PAGO (4) overcame the second line here last time out when grafting out a gritty victory. He can press forward again here to make a play.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (1) faced gate 3 over the 2040 last start and was making a late raid when under 2m from the winner MISS MIA. From the tight gate, she is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: MONTEREY JACK (5), OCTOBER RACKETEEER (2), PAGO PAGO (4), HIGHLY RESPECTED (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTEREY JACK (5) to win

RACE FOUR

BETTOR ROMANCE (1) angled to the fence last start from the second line and did not receive the smoothest passage to the wire. Luckless the start prior, not much has been in her favour of late, but with a soft trip behind the speed, she can dart through to cash in.

LUXURY LAD (2) burrowed through from the inside gate last start and from the front was never headed in claiming a 6m margin in smart time. Runner-up to AMAMI the start prior, he can look for the front here and try to take them all the way.

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (5) has placed in four of his past five starts, the latest here last week when sitting parked outside LUXURY LAD and holding 2nd. He can roll forward to grind it out once again.

FLO RYDA (4) settled in the 1x1 trail start and held on for the bronze behind CAPTAINS PICK. 3m from the winner in holding 3rd two runs back, he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR ROMANCE (1), LUXURY LAD (2), BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (5), FLO RYDA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-5

RACE FIVE

VALLANI MAGIC (3)
was runner-up in her first two Qld appearances as she was building towards a victory and franked that with a dominant win from gate 5 two runs back. Sent to the front and claiming a smart win, she faded after a tough trip last time. She looks to dictate here.

HEAVENLY SEA (1) was a gritty winner when parked here two starts back and followed that with a passing lane 2nd to PAGO PAGO. With the chance for the soft trip in behind the speed, she can be ready to issue a closing challenge.

SIR BOSTON (9) faces a tough gate as he has done in most of his career appearances. Midfield behind THE VICAR OF DIBLEY last time over the AP mile, he can be working into this.

ABBEY DIADEMA (7) will secure the economical trip on the poles and be searching for the gaps when the lane presents. Doing some early work last start, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: VALLANI MAGIC (3), HEAVENLY SEA (1), SIR BOSTON (9), ABBEY DIADEMA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: VALLANI MAGIC (3) to win

RACE SIX

DUKE (8)
started off the ace last start and from the pocket trail could not go with them when down the line behind LITTLEDEE. Not suited when working in the run here two back, he can get the right position in transit to stake a claim in a wide-open contest. Play wide in the quaddie.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (3) rolled across from gate 4 here two starts back and required to work in the run, was able to hold on for the bronze behind ROCKNROLL DA GAMA. Just 7m from BLACKJACK BETH last start in a tougher contest, he has the early speed to challenge.

THE CROM (1) has the nice gate but lacking in arm hustle, he looks set to be buried in the run. Just out of the money last start behind FLASH FREDDIE, he can be searching for gaps to chime in.

DATSINAHURRI (5) is a hard mare to follow, winning here deep into the red four runs back and then no closer than 14m from the winner in similar company in the three since. She could easily take this.

SELECTIONS: DUKE (8), DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (3), THE CROM (1), DATSINAHURRI (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  DUKE (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

SONNY ORLANDO (7)
made full use of a front line gate here three runs back when spearing across to lead and from the front was able to take them all the way. Tough gates have put him out of business at his past two, but with the chance to stalk the speed here, can be ready to land the closing shot.

BABY GINNIE (1) has never won a race in her 15 months in Qld but might just have struck the right set up to adjust that anomaly. Tackling a far tougher battle over the AP mile last start when 8m from BLACKJACK BETH, she was just 1m from the winner here three back. From the gate, she is up to this.

SABOTAGE (9) has placed at her past two in succession, the latest when 3rd behind TULHURST CUDDLES. Just 4m from the winner two runs back, she can be chiming in late here.

LESVOS LAD (3) was best of the chasers last start when making a late raid for the silver behind AWAYOVERNIGHT. Settling handy can see him in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: SONNY ORLANDO (7), BABY GINNIE (1), SABOTAGE (9), LESVOS LAD (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SONNY ORLANDO (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

DIEGO DELGADO (1)
has started from the second line at his past three starts where he has been locked away in two of those and sent around them to sit parked in the other when fading after working in a slick time. He can look to burrow through and protecting the inside can see this out.

BATED BREATH (8) held the trail at Tamworth last start when battling on for the bronze behind BETTOR KEEP ROCKING. Just 4m from the winner the start prior, she will be looking to press through from the second line to secure position and with the right trip is up to throwing it down here.

BETTING BARON (7) should secure the economical run and with the limited work in transit be ready to make a closing raid. Runner-up in two of his past three, he will be probing.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (3) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when making one last raid up the passing lane to be an eyelash short of victory. She can be handy enough to feature again.

SELECTIONS: DIEGO DELGADO (1), BATED BREATH (8), BETTING BARON (7), GETALOADATHISGIRL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DIEGO DELGADO (1) to win

RACE NINE

MISS SYRAH (4)
was sent forward from this same gate last week searching for the elusive account opener when 4m astern of the winner ISLA AND ADDIE. Chasing home for the bronze at The Creek two runs back behind FACT FINDER, this looks her chance to cash in.

BREEZE ON BYE BYE (1) has placed in two of her six attempts at a breakthrough and should relish the chance to start of the ace and use her early hustle here. Finding them too slippery when trailing them home behind BRONSKI ZULU last start, back to The Triangle off this alley can see her challenge.

DENIS THE PUNTER (9) was buried in the run last time in the APG heats when down the line behind BRONSKI ZULU. Just 6m from GO COLOUR MY WORLD the start prior, he can chime in here.

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (5) was locked away last time as FIAS CHARM claimed victory at HQ. Down the line the start prior in an open-age maiden, he is a podium player here despite the tough gate.

SELECTIONS: MISS SYRAH (4), BREEZE ON BYE BYE (1), DENIS THE PUNTER (9), NAUTIE GALVINATOR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS SYRAH (4) to win

RACE TEN

HEZA BLING (3) started form inside the second line last time out and when the field sorted positions he had been shuffled right out the back. Midfield here two starts back, there are plenty in this field that are making hard work of claiming the maiden breaking win. This might just be within reach.

THIS YANKEE ROCKS (9) was sent forward from gate 4 to sit parked here two starts back and after the tough trip was still grinding it out when 2m from the winner KEITH WILL DO. Not suited in a tougher AP contest last time, he faces a tough gate but is edging closer to the account opener.

TUFFY (8) was smartly driven last week and was able to find the pocket trail from outside the second line following a mid-race move. Holding on for the silver, can he land the elusive breakthrough here?

SHOOBEE RIGHT (6) was sent forward again to sit parked last week and after the tough trip was 8m in arrears of the winner in holding 3rd. He can do the heavy lifting again here to feature.

SELECTIONS: HEZA BLING (3), THIS YANKEE ROCKS (9), TUFFY (8), SHOOBEE RIGHT (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
