RACE ONE

CHARM OFFENSIVE (2) was snagged off the arm last start after copping the 6 gate and from the rear did not get warm in the closing stages. Second up in that contest after meeting much tougher opposition first up, she will strip fitter and settle close enough to strike.

MAHINDI (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out when in the second half of the pack behind BETTOR ROMANCE. From the improved gate, he secures the options and with good arm hustle when called on, he can issue a challenge.

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (7) struck trouble last start when finishing with the bronze behind VANITY BAY. With the economical trip, he will be probing.

TE QUIRO (8) found the set up to rattle late and claim victory here two starts back, Strong to the line from a horrid gate at Marburg, she is right in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CHARM OFFENSIVE (2), MAHINDI (1), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (7), TE QUIRO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHARM OFFENSIVE (2) to win

RACE THREE

FRANCO NATHAN (9)
was not suited at Marburg last start from inside the second line and despite being shuffled back was strong to the line when 5m astern of the winner SHEREACTS. Beaten by gate 12 over the AP 2138 the start prior, he looks to get every chance here to cash in.

MAJOR TRALEE (3) was locked away from inside the second line last time out and did not have a smooth passage home. A winner from outside the second line four runs back, he has good speed out of the machine and can go looking for the front here to throw down his challenge.

DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (8) tackled the AP mile last start when releasing early in a sub 27 opening panel and finishing midfield behind MYDADSAID. She has podium claims here.

REIVERINA FLASH (2) should appreciate the improved gate after a string of wide gates in recent outings. Buried last start when just out of the money behind TULHURST CUDDLES, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO NATHAN (9), MAJOR TRALEE (3), DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (8), REIVERINA FLASH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO NATHAN (9) to win

RACE FOUR

JUST JOSHIN (1) has faced the inside of the second line at his past two starts when not too far from the winner on each occasion. Searching for gaps last start, he lands all the options this time around to secure position and stake a claim for victory.

ARTFUL MAID (5) is not afforded many favours from the wide alley, but she has the speed out of the machine to dart across here. Settled rearward last start from the second line when rattling late to be just a half-neck away, she can be issuing a challenge here.

SCHOUTEN ISLAND (6) resumes from a spell for visiting trainer Seaton Grima where he will be first up in 12 months. With a sound effort at the trials in readiness, he can feature fresh.

OUR BONDI BEACH (2) is never too far away and last start was strong to the line from deep field after retreating from gate 6. Settled closer here gives him podium claims.

SELECTIONS: JUST JOSHIN (1), ARTFUL MAID (5), SCHOUTEN ISLAND (6), OUR BONDI BEACH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST JOSHIN (1) to win

RACE FIVE

LA PISTOLA (3)
fired out from gate 1 last start to set the tempo at the 2040 trip but could not see it out when finishing 2m from the winner SHADYS DELIGHT. An inside second line gate at Marburg did not suit two runs back but he finds the conditions here to fire some early bullets to hit the target.

HOLLYWOOD ROOKI (7) was eased to the poles from the outside second line last start and searching for some shot cuts was out of the money behind MY GIRL MANDY. With a soft trip on offer, if the gap opens in time, he can issue a challenge.

AUNTY FRANCES (8) was snookered at Marburg last start after landing he inside second line and soon finding herself shuffled back in the run. A winner here two starts back, she can chime in.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9) was last seen over the AP mile from the second line when unable to get warmed up in the closing stages. This is a little softer than his recent appearances.

SELECTIONS: LA PISTOLA (3), HOLLYWOOD ROOKI (7), AUNTY FRANCES (8), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LA PISTOLA (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

LEAPING LEO (2)
is winless in over four years and remains without victory on this deck after 34 previous attempts. Taking the trail last start when midfield behind MELTON XMAS GIRL, he was gunned down here tow back. With the speed to take control, will the drought be broken?

SCHOOBY (6) faces the tough gate, but has been starting from bad alleys in recent starts. A tough winner from outside the second line five runs back when sent around them to grind out the victory, he can press forward here to issue the challenge.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (3) started from the tapes last time out in the Showcase Final where he trailed the field home behind KID MONTANA. Fresh up here, he can be closer to find a podium finish.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (9) has faced the inside second line at his past three in succession where he has been buried away on each occasion. This is a wide-open affair, and he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: LEAPING LEO (2), SCHOOBY (6), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (3), FORTYFIVE ROCK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LEAPING LEO (2) to win

RACE SIX

PRECIOUS CULLEN (2)
has cashed in for a solitary win in 17 appearances this season but has been runner-up in two of his past four starts. Not suited over the AP 2138 last start, he was best of the chasers behind TULHURST CUDDLES here two back. From the gate, he looks to get his chance.

LITTLEDEE (9) was a winner here two starts back from gate 6 after retreating early and then slicing home between runners to claim a 4m margin. Doing some work in the early stages last start from a wide gate at Marburg, the gate makes it tricky, but she can throw it down in this line up.

MY SECRET BEACH (5) found the poles from gate 6 two starts back and with a passing lane raid was not too far away. Pressing forward last start from gate 4, limiting the early burn puts this in reach.

CROSSED LEGS (8) has faced the second line at her past three in succession including a tidy close out here two back when 5m from YOGI. With the right trip she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: PRECIOUS CULLEN (2), LITTLEDEE (9), MY SECRET BEACH (5), CROSSED LEGS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PRECIOUS CULLEN (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

CANNAN (7)
will need a slice of luck to go his way from this alley, but should the gap arrive in time, he is up to the task. Runner-up at his past two starts when beaten 2m and 1m last start, he will be probing for the openings to take his shot.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (6) has no favours from the wide gate but finds the right type of opposition to chase her ninth win on this deck. Exposed early before receiving cover last start but unable to finish it off, limiting the early burn can see her throw down a challenge.

FEEL THE THRILL (2) finds the gate to dart across and look for the front. Not suited when required to sit parked last start, a cheap lead brings him into calculations.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (9) was trying to make late metres last start when down the line behind MY GIRL MANDY. Firing out to look for an all the way win two back when 3m away, she is right in this.

SELECTIONS: CANNAN (7), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (6), FEEL THE THRILL (2), TORQUE IN CONTROL (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

THE HARRIS HAWK (5)
tried to take them all the way last start from gate 1 but could not sink the talons in, fading late to be out of the money. Runner-up from the second line here three runs back when a half-head away, he can force the issue here to stake a claim.

CIRCLE LINE (6) was a winner from outside the second line here three starts back when showing too much closing power for his rivals. Out of the money from this gate at his past two starts, he brings up a double milestone with his 300th career start and 100th Redcliffe start in this contest where he can look to celebrate it in style.

LORD DENZEL (4) has been the first placing out of the money at his past four in succession. Positioning cheaply will be key to his chances of landing in the money here.

MELTON XMAS GIRL (9) found the 1x1 trail from this same gate two starts back and with the good trip had the speed to descend on them and pull clear to pot a 17m margin. She can feature again.

SELECTIONS: THE HARRIS HAWK (5), CIRCLE LINE (6), LORD DENZEL (4), MELTON XMAS GIRL (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

MATAI REACTOR (9) should appreciate a return top The Triangle after campaigning at HQ at his recent attempts. Down the line over the 2138 last start, he was 5m from BLACKJACK BETH tow runs back. With the right trip, he can arrive to capitalise.

BULLDOG BRAWLER (5) has laced at his past two starts, the latest when best of the chasers behind the easy winner WILLIEWA LIGHTNING. He can slide across early to feature in this line up.

BELLA GODIVA (6) is never too far away in these types of battles, her latest start when slammed with the outside second line. A winner here three starts back, she can be thereabouts once again.

FLOORLESS (1) has some ordinary numbers next to her name, but this is the type of race where she can turn it around with the improved gate helping that cause.

SELECTIONS: MATAI REACTOR (9), BULLDOG BRAWLER (5), BELLA GODIVA (6), FLOORLESS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MATAI REACTOR (9) to win
