RACE ONE

An open event to open the card with plenty of winning form and consistent form presented by the combatants. WESTERN SHOWGIRL (3) is building towards victory after placings in three of her past four, the latest when just 3m from DONNY JONES. With the right trip, she might be the one.

FOR NO REASON (6) faces a stern test from the wide gate, yet she has been in nice touch, hitting the board in four of her past five. Chasing a hat-trick of victories last start, she set the tempo but could not finish them off as OCTOBER RACKETEER swept home. With even luck she can throw it down.

TOMMY BLIGH (7) faced a tough ask from outside the second line over the AP mile last time out when down the line behind KALYPSO SAM. A softer trail trip here looks more suitable.

FLASH FREDDIE (1) is a slick beginner and should appreciate the front line after his past three in succession have been off the second line. Keen in the run last start, he has the speed to dictate his position.

SELECTIONS: WESTERN SHOWGIRL (3), FOR NO REASON (6), TOMMY BLIGH (7), FLASH FREDDIE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

LITTLE CHANGE (1)
is staring down a hat-trick of victories after a pair of wins where he has charged home down the centre of the track after starting from wide gates. He finished over the top of them last time in slick time. His bread and butter is usually a passing lane raid and he should get that here.

SEA LOVER (2) tackled a mare’s qualifier last start where she was in the running line after facing a second line gate and chased all the way when down the line behind COCORA. 3rd at her only Redcliffe appearance when starting outside the second line, she can be much sharper.

PLAY BLANCA (4) has been meeting stiffer opposition than what she faces off against here, finishing down the line last start behind MIDNIGHT CALM. Settling forward, she is right in this.

YOUNG CONQUEROR (7) was beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating early before being forced to make a wide run as the in-form PRESS STATEMENT scored. He will be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE CHANGE (1), SEA LOVER (2), PLAY BLANCA (4), YOUNG CONQUEROR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-7

RACE FOUR

MALINJANG (2) found the front from this same gate last start when looking to take them all the way over this trip but was worried out of it by MISSTREPO. Striking trouble two starts back than saw out her out of business, she can look to get to the front and be gripping on again.

BLISSFULDAY (8) was a winner over this trip five runs back when securing a cosy trip on the inside behind the speed. Not much has really been in his favour since that victory, here last start he was buried in the run when looking for short cuts. This looks a favourable set up to challenge.

BATMAN BART (3) was wide off the track over the latter stages at Marburg last start when finishing down the line behind ARTISTIC SAINT. Midfield here the start prior, he can get forward to feature.

WUNDERLAND (5) is fresh up for the new barn here, joining Chloe Butler after finishing at the rear last time out at Tamworth. A previous two-time winner on this deck, she stays under notice first up.

SELECTIONS: MALINJANG (2), BLISSFULDAY (8), BATMAN BART (3), WUNDERLAND (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BLISSFULDAY (8) win/place

RACE FIVE

CALL ME TRISH (9)
will take further benefit from her latest offering where she was third up from a spell. Faced with the outside front line, she was strong to the line over the latter stages to grab 3rd after a second up effort where she was a long way back. In an open contest, she can descend.

THREE MACHS (1) faced a wide gate last time out and was trying to make late metres when finishing in the second half of the pack. Hitting the line strongly here three runs back when 2m from the winner, that was her third successive 2nd placing and with the soft trip, she can challenge.

MISTER WOODPORT (5) was exposed early after pressing forward soon after the start over the AP mile last time out before receiving cover. With KALYPSO SAM a slick winner, back to this looks more palatable.

ROLLONX (4) has good speed off the arm and from this gate can look to dart across early searching for the front. Taking cover last start, he is a podium hope in this.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TRISH (9), THREE MACHS (1), MISTER WOODPORT (5), ROLLONX (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TRISH (9) to win

RACE SIX

TRUE GRIT SHADOW (5)
was sent forward to sit parked here two starts back from gate 6 and he was able to grind it out for the silver when 2m adrift of the winner BUSTN FEELZ GOOD. Finding the front but not comfortable last start as HOIHO ripped clear, he can get across here and see this one out.

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (8) started from outside the second line last start where he settled rearward before trying to make a closing play but never got warm. Holding on for the bronze here two back after striking some trouble in the run, he can look to descend on them.

TACKAS LAST DANCE (7) will be second up in Qld after being sent out as fav in her first appearance here last week and not helped with a flat tyre. Likely to be snookered, she will be searching for gaps.

AROONA (4) was tucked away on the inside last start and never a factor as HOIHO bolted clear to a huge win. Positioning cheaply, tis is the type of contest he can feature in.

SELECTIONS: TRUE GRIT SHADOW (5), MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (8), TACKAS LAST DANCE (7), AROONA (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  TRUE GRIT SHADOW (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

HOIHO (5)
will be on the back up from Friday night to make it three runs in a week. Stepping out in Qld for the first time here last Monday, he held the 1x1 trail from the second line and when asked to go, blew his rivals off the track with a 35m margin. Anything close to that has him blitzing this.

COBBLER LANE (8) will take good benefit from his last outing when returning from over 12 months off the scene. Wide over the latter stages and not securing the cleanest passage, he held on for the bronze behind the big winner HOIHO. Trailing through early, he can chase another podium return.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (9) was snookered in the run and needing plenty of luck when he finally found open space. Out of the pack and trying to make a run, he locked wheels and lost all momentum, holding on for 2nd. Better luck will help here.

DESTINY BLUES (7) loves a soft fence trip and secures the gate to get that here. Making late metres to grab the bronze here last start, she will be probing for a way clear.

SELECTIONS:
HOIHO (5), COBBLER LANE (8), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (9), DESTINY BLUES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HOIHO (5) to win
