RACE ONE

Given no favours from the tough gate, this might be a nice drop in grade for ELOUISA DALE (10) to overcome the impediment. Just out of the money last start, she could have been closer with better luck when chasing behind JENDEN STRIKE. A winner at three in succession prior, she is up to it.

LUKE JOHN (6) was best of the chasers two starts back when out of the pack and trying to chase BIG SKEWY. Holding on for 3rd to BIG SHADOW in a 70Final at his next start, he was hemmed away here on Tuesday when 6m from AUNTY BELLA at the 2138 trip. Despite the gate he can challenge.

BURNS BAY (2) had been thereabouts without grabbing a cheque until cashing in here last week when sprinting hard out of the 1x1 trail to score a career PB. He can be close enough to feature.

SPIRIT AND SOUL (7) will be first up for the Jack Butler stable following a barn switch. The gate makes it tough after unable to get into the contest last time out behind TALENT TO SPARE.

SELECTIONS: ELOUISA DALE (10), LUKE JOHN (6), BURNS BAY (2), SPIRIT AND SOUL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ELOUISA DALE (10) to win

RACE THREE

Still chasing his first victory since returning to Qld, THE TAX CULLECTOR (1) looks to find the conditions to cash in. Hitting the line in good order last start when 2m from FREE THINKER, he was strong to the line from a bad gate in the Triad behind FOR REAL LIFE. He lands the marble to cash in.

ALTA MAGACIAN (7) was a real eye-catcher on return last start in a strong 3YO contest where he snagged back from gate 7. Still last swinging for home, he let down powerfully to grab the silver behind FREE THINKER. The ODM embargo hurts, but he can be rattling late to challenge.

NOBLE TRICK (3) has faced some tough gates in recent outings and should appreciate drawing tighter here. Looking for a gap that did no open last start when retreating, he can feature.

WESTERN ARTERRA (10) fired early before taking cover and was trying to eat into the deficit when 5m from LAST TIME JOE. Strong to the line behind O B LEGAL two back, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: THE TAX CULLECTOR (1), ALTA MAGACIAN (7), NOBLE TRICK (3), WESTERN ARTERRA (10)
SUGGESTED BET: THE TAX CULLECTOR (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Needing some factors to go his way from this alley, ARTS PEREGRINE (8) will be hoping the 1 opts for an all the way effort. Under that scenario, he can be in position to strike over the closing stages. Buried in the run last start when 11m from PEPPA BLISS, with a rub of the green, he can arrive.

MALINJANG (1) has been runner-up at his past two at Redcliffe where he has led them up over the 2040 on each occasion. Grabbed in the last strides by COPY WRITER last start when beaten a head, it was MISSTREPO that got him two starts back. He has the options to challenge.

MAGICOL IDEAL (4) burrowed through from gate 1 last start at Redcliffe where he was able to take them all the way. Fading late in front here two back, he will be testing things early.

FILLY THIRTEEN (7) has no favours from the outside gate which she faces due to a starting error two starts back at Marburg. Snagged back early last start, she can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: ARTS PEREGRINE (8), MALINJANG (1), MAGICOL IDEAL (4), FILLY THIRTEEN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ARTS PEREGRINE (8) to win

RACE FIVE

Still a maiden on this deck after 17 previous attempts, TUNGSTEN TERROR (2) looks to have found the right conditions to alter that anomaly. Taking them all the way at Redcliffe two starts back, he was luckless here last week from the second line. From the gate he can dictate.

RONCKNROLL DA GAMA (1) will be on the back up from Wednesday night where he tackled a standing start event at Redcliffe. A winner from this gate two starts back when darting through along the passing lane, he will be coiled and ready to issue the closing challenge.

BATMAN BART (8) eased for position last start and was soon buried in the run as COPY WRITER arrived in the last strides at Redcliffe. With a soft trip from this gate, he will be probing the gaps.

PUSHINIT UPHILL (9) fired out from gate 3 here three starts back and from the front kept them rolling to claim a 6m PB mile. Buried from inside the second line two starts back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: TUNGSTEN TERROR (2), RONCKNROLL DA GAMA (1), BATMAN BART (8), PUSHINIT UPHILL (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TUNGSTEN TERROR (2) to win

RACE SIX

Starting from gate 3 here last week, HESLUVABLE (1) was sent straight to the front and was never tested, pulling clear to claim an effortless 5m margin. He will be backing up from a standing start event on Wednesday night at Redcliffe but snares the alley here to fire out and dictate.

FIVE STAR GEM (8) settled in the 1x1 trail from a second line gate at Redcliffe when holding 3rd behind MAGICOL IDEAL last time out. He found them too sharp in the Triad Final the start prior when down the line behind FOR REAL LIFE and with the soft trip here, can throw it down.

ODINS BLACK CROWS (10) started from inside the second line last time out and was soon shuffled back in the run before finding some passing lane space for 3rd to ROCKNROLL DA GAMA. He can make a late play.

JAKKI MUN (5) eased from gate 5 at Redcliffe last time out and was back in the pack when trying to make late metres. Runner-up to OLLIE OLLIE two starts back, he can be joining in late here.

SELECTIONS: HESLUVABLE (1), FIVE STAR GEM (8), ODINS BLACK CROWS (10), JAKKI MUN (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  HESLUVABLE (1) to win
