RACE ONE

BORN TO WRITE (7) was a tough 3rd on debut in April, with those that beat her home going on with the job since. That debut was franked with a second up victory and after finishing unplaced third up, was sent for a spell. A pass mark when resuming, she just needs to spot a gap to capitalise here.

OLLIE ONE SHOT (3) will be resuming from a spell and trialled against some handy performers in readiness for the return. Last seen back in March, he can do a few things wrong, but there is some power in the motor and from this gate can challenge fresh.

DELIGHT OF RANI (5) was second up from a spell last start when trying to take them all the way over the AP mile. Fighting on for 3rd behind the smart looking HARRYS DEAL, he can feature again.

DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (1) opened the account last start at Kilcoy when spearing across the field to find the front before releasing and then finishing best to claim a 10m margin. The gate is a plus.

SELECTIONS: BORN TO WRITE (7), OLLIE ONE SHOT (3), DELIGHT OF RANI (5), DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BORN TO WRITE (7) to win

RACE THREE

TACKAS LAST DANCE (2)
has now had four starts in Qld for Jonah Hutchinson and has been knocking on the door to score. Runner-up at her past three in succession, she led then into the stretch at HQ last start only for SHEZA CRACKER to capitalise off a cold sit. The set up here looks like she can cash in.

BARKWAY MARGARET (9) was a winner at her first Qld appearance when tackling the AP mile five runs back. 3rd to CRIME TIME at her next outing, she has been out of the money at her past three, the latest when trying to make ground from back in the pack. Having her first Redcliffe start, she can challenge.

SWINGING GEORGE (5) found the 1x1 trail from the second line here four runs back and was able to get past them and pull clear to a 12m victory. Placed twice since, he can feature again in this.

CHRONICLES (8) angled back to the passing lane last start to grab the bronze behind BRAEVIEW FELLA. Runner-up in two of his four here on The Triangle, he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: TACKAS LAST DANCE (2), BARKWAY MARGARET (9), SWINGING GEORGE (5), CHRONICLES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TACKAS LAST DANCE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

COCONUT CUTIE (5) was a winner here four runs back when sent to the front soon after the start from gate 3 and able to pull clear to claim a 21m victory. Strong to the line in the closing stages when just a half-neck from the winner two runs back, she can defy the wide gate.

THE CROM (1) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when settled in the trail and holding silver behind DOOLITTLE DAYS. With the map to tuck in behind the action again here, he can get the trip to be firing some closing volleys in the stretch.

DUKE (3) was snagged off the arm last start to settle rearward and from deep field never warmed up.  With the chance to settle closer to the action from this alley, he can be thereabouts.

SUBTLE ADVICE (4) was midfield last start at Kilcoy after working hard in the run and grafting it out all the way. A beaten fav here two starts back, he can get forward to feature.

SELECTIONS: COCONUT CUTIE (5), THE CROM (1), DUKE (3), SUBTLE ADVICE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: COCONUT CUTIE (5) to win

RACE FIVE

SHADYS DELIGHT (8)
eased from gate 6 here two starts back and chasing short cuts was attacking the line strongly to be 4m from the winner and claim 3rd. Forget his last start on the kikuyu at Kilcoy when striking trouble, he finds a race here to descend on them.

IMA CLASSY GIRL (1) was asked to roll the sleeves and hang tough outside the leader last start and after the tough trip, was fading late to finish midfield. Grabbing 3rd two starts back at the AP mile, she lands the improved gate and with the options can throw down the challenge.

TRACER BULLET (7) added another minor to his tally last start when trying to make some late metres behind ODINS BLACK CROWS. Collared in front in the last strides here three back, he will be probing.

FIVE STAR GEM (4) was able to press forward and find the front last start but soon handed over to ODINS BLACK CROWS for the last 1100m. Unable to go with them late, he can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: SHADYS DELIGHT (8), IM A CLASSY GIRL (1), TRACER BULLET (7), FIVE STAR GEM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: IM A CLASSY GIRL (1) win/place

RACE SIX

TRALEE MAXIE (3)
tackled the AP mile last start where he pressed forward in the early stages to settle near the speed. Forced to sit parked the majority of the contest, he fought hard for 2nd behind ODINS BLACK CROWS. He finds conditions here to capitalise.

TULHURST CUDDLES (8) pressed on to take control over the middle trip at HQ last time out and kept an even tempo out in front. Digging deep as they swung for the judge, she was within 5m of the winner in a blanket finish. Back to The Triangle at this trip, she can issue the challenge.

MATAI REACTOR (7) worked home wide on the track last start from the outside second line to grab the silver behind ENGLISH DANCE. With the soft trip, he will be probing for gaps here.

NIGHT NINJA (2) will strip fitter from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell. Settled in the 1x1 trail from a second line gate, he did not really get warm but can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: TRALEE MAXIE (3), TULHURST CUDDLES (8), MATAI REACTOR (7), NIGHT NINJA (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  TRALEE MAXIE (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

NAKULA (3)
resumes from a spell after here last start when asked to work hard outside the leader and graft out a 3m 2nd behind STOMPEM. Fired off the arm here two starts back and taking them all the way at this trip, she has the hustle to find position and stake a claim.

MISTER HART (2) has found some good rhythm in recent outings. Attacking the line hard here four runs back, he went within a pimple of victory. Building from that run, he is undefeated in three starts since, the latest a grinding effort from the second line. This is tougher but he is running hot.

MISS MIA (1) made some late metres to grab the silver at Marburg two runs back behind COPY WRITER. Under 5m away on the grass at Kilcoy last start behind KALYPSO SAM, she can feature.

SPORT MENTAL (7) will secure the economical trip against the markers and be searching for the openings in the stretch. Grabbed in the last strides when trying to dictate last start, she will probe.

SELECTIONS: NAKULA (3), MISTER HART (2), MISS MIA (1), SPORT MENTAL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE EIGHT

BIG SKEWY (5)
lost all chance last start in a Band 5 contest after he was shuffled out of business from gate 1, ending up four back against the poles when the field found their positions. A winner at both prior starts including a big win from outside the front line, he can forward to apply the heat.

KING OF TRUMPS (8) tackled a qualifier last start at the mile when sent to the front from gate 3 and looking to dictate. Leading until deep stretch and then collared up the passing lane by LAST TIME JOE, he returns to The Triangle where his record is smart at 7:2-1-1.

OBI ONE (6) has no favours from the outside paint, but he has been meeting opposition perhaps a touch stronger than he meets for this. Placed in five of seven at the track, he is a podium hope.

B MAC C (1) returns from a freshen after a luckless run last start when snagged to the rear and never really getting warm. Despite an uninspiring record on this track, the easy trip can suit.

SELECTIONS: BIG SKEWY (5), KING OF TRUMPS (8), OBI ONE (6), B MAC C (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG SKEWY (5) to win

RACE NINE

ASHLEE NITRO (8)
was angled wider to make her run last start at HQ and was stuck behind a stalling runner. Losing all momentum and forced wider to make a challenge, her chances expired. Strong to the line after a pole run two starts back, mid-race pressure can see her descend on them.

SUNRISE RUBY (1) had this gate at the sprint trip last start and was trying to go the distance but was worried out of it by MISTER HART, finishing 2m in arrears. Nabbed by SHES IN LINE two starts back, she is yet to win beyond the 1780, but lands the gate to make the challenge.

DIDSHEDOIT (2) was faced with gate 7over the AP mile last time out when sent forward and finding the space to drop into the trail. Holding on for 2nd behind ROCKNROLL DA GAMA, she is in the mix.

TORQUE IS MY GIRL (7) has placed at her past three in succession, the latest when 7m astern of the winner ROLLED IN GOLD over the AP mile. With a soft trip, she can be probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: ASHLEE NITRO (8), SUNRISE RUBY (1), DIDSHEDOIT (2), TORQUE IS MY GIRL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ASHLEE NITRO (8) to win
