RACE ONE

GLENLEA BELLA (1) made her Qld debut on the Kilcoy carpet when sent to the post as the red figure fav. Not entirely comfortable, she made two errors in the run and finished at the rear. With the benefit of the ace, she can be forgiven for the grass run and bounce back with an account opener.

CRUZ JOSHUA (9) tackled the 2YO Triad consolation last start when searching for gaps along the inside and closing in smart fashion to finish 4m from the winner GLENEAGLE VEE CEE. Chaing the maiden breaker after placing in 8 of his 12 starts, number 13 might not be unlucky here.

HAPPY SNAP (2) had placed in all four runs since resuming from a spell, although never really threatening for a win. Exposed early last start before finishing midfield, an improved gate helps.

HEZA BLING (6) finished midfield at Kilcoy last start despite making an error in the run. Gunned down when setting the speed two starts back, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: GLENLEA BELLA (1), CRUZ JOSHUA (9), HAPPY SNAP (2), HEZA BLING (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GLENLEA BELLA (1) to win

RACE THREE

OYSTER STRIDE (2)
has worked his way back into good form with three wins in his past four starts. Sent straight to the front from this same gate last time out, he was able to control the tempo and take them all the way. From the gate he can look for the front and fight them off again.

WOODLEA DIEGO (6) is afforded no favours from the outside paint, yet he has hit some good areas in recent starts, lining up here with a pair of wins in his past three. Both of those victories have been from behind the tapes, the latest here on Monday night with a tough effort. He can throw it down.

HES SWEET (3) was sent forward from gate 4 to sit parked last tart and after the tough trip was still just 5m from the winner. Grabbed in the last strides here three back, he has podium claims.

WUNDERLAND (1) has faced the starter three times since returning from a spell for the new stable, the latest when beaten by gate 6 over the 2040. Back to the sprint from this gate, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: OYSTER STRIDE (2), WOODLEA DIEGO (6), HES SWEET (3), WUNDERLAND (1)
SUGGESTED BET: OYSTER STRIDE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

BARKWAY MARGARET (5) faced the outside second line last time out and after settling in the running line, was able to close out smartly for a narrow victory. That was her first look at this track and racing in nice touch since arriving in Qld, can look to go again here in an open contest.

ULTIMATE CHANCE (8) was sent to sit parked from a wide gate last start and after the tough trip faded over the closing stages. A winner here three starts back when hustling through to hold the front and take them all the way, she can trail through early to issue the challenge.

TOMMY BLIGH (9) faced this same gate last start when settled in the running lien and trying to launch a late raid when just out of the money behind HOLDINGNO CURRENCY. He can chime in.

SPORTING LEGEND (3) is the query runner, lining up for the new stable for the first time off the back of a spell. Trialling soundly back in June, he has not been sighted in public since.

SELECTIONS: BARKWAY MARGARET (5), ULTIMATE CHANCE (8), TOMMY BLIGH (9), SPORTING LEGEND (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BARKWAY MARGARET (5) to win

RACE FIVE

ROLLONX (4)
fired out from this same gate four runs back and after taking control was able to lead throughout to claim a narrow victory. Seeing it out in front at Kilcoy last start, he can rifle across them in the early stages here and might just be able to see another one out.

ROSARITO (1) was a passing lane winner here six starts back when darting through to claim the prize. Drawn wider gates in each run since, he has the early hustle to avail the options and with the right trip will throw it down.

VALLANI MAGIC (7) held them wide initially from gate 1 last time out before taking cover and finishing 4m from the winner THE HARRIS HAWK. She will be searching for openings here.

GETALOADATHISBRO (5) made the most of a tight gate at Marburg two starts back, taking control and holding on for a narrow victory. Strong late here last start when 2m away, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ROLLONX (4), ROSARITO (1), VALLANI MAGIC (7), GETALOADATHISBRO (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

SUBSTITOOTH (5)
has tackled the AP mile at his past three starts, the past two when faced with the outside front line gate owing to his poor manners. Sent to sit parked last start, he was in for the fight and still grinding it out when 5m from the winner SO AM I. He can apply the heat here.

MISTER HART (1) was looking to extend his winning streak last time out when sent to the post as the fav, chasing his fourth win in succession. Unable to go on with it after positioned in the 1x1 trail, he was well beaten. With the gate advantage, he secures his chance to bounce back with vengeance.

NAKULA (6) was resuming from a spell last time out when asked to do it the tough way outside the leader. Hanging tough to hold on for the silver, the added fitness is a plus, the gate is not.

HE SAID SHE SAID (7) resumes from a spell and comes up with the ideal gate fresh up to gain the economical fence trip. With no public trial, he will benefit from whatever he can achieve here.

SELECTIONS: SUBSTITOOTH (5), MISTER HART (1), NAKULA (6), HE SAID SHE SAID (7)
SUGGESTED BET:  SUBSTITOOTH (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (1)
is yet to win at the middle trip but with a record of 4 minors in 7 attempts, he lands the ideal alley to chalk one up on the board. Strong to the line after being snookered in the run last time over the AP 2138, he lands the options here to capitalise.

FULLOFIT (3) worked away from the poles early after starting from inside the second line last start and sitting parked the last 1100, finished just out of the money behind subsequent winner ROLLED IN GOLD. Buried in the run two starts back, she can issue a challenge.

MACH TORQUE (2) tackled this trip last start when having an early look from gate 3 before settling with running line cover and finishing just behind the money. She can be thereabouts again here.

TIZA NEW DAY (7) was snagged off the gate from wide out last start and picked off a few metres in the latter stages behind TRACER BULLET. With the soft trip, he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN FOXTROT (1), FULLOFIT (3), MACH TORQUE (2), TIZA NEW DAY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN FOXTROT (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

JUST JOSHIN (4)
is still chasing his first win of the season, having placed just once in 23 attempts. His latest efforts have had merit, but just cannot seem to nab the rewards to match. Closing out when 5m from MISTER REACTOR last start, positioning cheaply, he finds the right opposition to strike.

LITTLE CHANGE (8) was chasing a hat-trick of victories three starts back when securing the ideal trip behind the speed but finishing out of the money behind PLAYA BLANCA. Grabbing the bronze ion both runs since, he will have early mapping options and can be issuing a closing challenge.

MIKI MAGIC (7) landed gate 1 over the AP mile last start and was soon shuffled three back and unable to go with them late as ALTA MAGACIAN arrived. With an economical trip, she will probe.

COPY WRITER (1) was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when not firing a shot on the grass at Kilcoy. Banished to the trials, she earns the return off a sound effort, with the gate a plus here.

SELECTIONS: JUST JOSHIN (4), LITTLE CHANGE (8), MIKI MAGIC (7), COPY WRITER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST JOSHIN (4) each-way

RACE NINE

THE GROGFATHER (5)
faces a tough gate, but he should find this a nice drop in grade from recent assignments. Finding the front in a Band 5 event last start, he was gripping on in the stretch to finish with the bronze when 6m from MELTON BEACH. Claiming a qualifier three back, he can capitalise.

LUXURY LAD (3) pressed forward from gate 5 last time out and was repelled for the lamp lighting duties and forced to sit parked. Fading late after the tough run, that effort had followed a starchy victory on this deck when claiming a 6m margin. From the gate he will throw down the challenge.

AJAY BREEZY ROSE (7) worked forward and was able to find the pocket trail last start but lost momentum when the leader hoisted the white flag. She will be probing for openings here.

ARTFUL MAID (2) was strong to the line last start when 7m from the winner LUXURY LAD after being faced with a second line gate. With her best alley in some time, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: THE GROGFATHER (5), LUXURY LAD (3), AJAY BREEZY ROSE (7), ARTFUL MAID (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THE GROGFATHER (5) to win
