The Ipswich Turf Club race meeting which was postponed earlier today has been rescheduled to Monday, September 25.
In accordance with standard RQ policy, the same race fields will be retained and scratchings reinstated.
The meeting’s movement to next week, coupled with the fact that the club will also be hosting arace meeting next Wednesday, has necessitated a rail movement to 10 metres for the entire circuit on Monday.
The intention that it will be in the true position for Wednesday’s meeting.
Monday’s rail movement will result in some reductions to starting limits, and accordingly RQ will produce and disseminate updated fields as soon as is practicable.
Horses which were engaged today are, in conjunction with Rule LR.37., able to nominated for any race meeting for which acceptances have not closed.
Participants impacted by today’s meeting’s postponement will, under RQ’s Race Meeting Abandonment Policy, be provided with compensation.
