Racing Queensland advises that the training track refurbishment at Townsville Turf Club has led to the relocatation of four race meetings.
They are:
- Thursday, October 12 – to Burdekin RC (at Home Hill) - race program;
- Tuesday, November 28 – to Burdekin RC (at Home Hill) - race program;
- Thursday, December 14 – to Bowen TC - race program; and
- Thursday, December 28 – to Burdekin RC (at Home Hill) - race program.
The transfer of the race meetings has also resulted in some amendments to their respective programmes.

Participants should also note that the despite the venue changes, prize money for the meetings will remain unchanged. However, they will now be treated as “Country” for apprentice claims purposes and a 55kg minimum (limit) weight will be applicable.
