The annual Isisford RC non-TAB race meeting scheduled for today has been abandoned.
A QRIC stewards track inspection prior to the race meeting found the track unsuitable to race on. Efforts to have the race meeting postponed to another venue tomorrow were considered but could not occur due to a number of logistical issues.
Racing Queensland will process the RQ race meeting abandonment protocol payment for trainers and jockeys from this race meeting.
The Isisford RC will still conduct a phantom “betting” meeting today with all facilities available.
Due to the abandonment, additional races have been added to the Barcaldine RC non-TAB meeting on Saturday, November 4. They are:
- Open Hcp - 1300m - $10,000
- Class 5 Plate (sw) - 1200m - $10,000
- QTIS Maiden Plate (2YO & up sw) - 1000m - $10,000
