Racing Queensland advises stakeholders that the Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club will host a non-tab race meeting on Tuesday, November 7 for Melbourne Cup Day. The meeting with carry normal Class 5 prize money.
The program for the card includes the Capelbourne Cup – the order of entry for this event is determined by the fastest race time recorded for each greyhound since January 1, 2023.
Times from Sunday, October 29 will be used for the purpose of grading the Capelbourne Cup field on Wednesday, November 1. Any greyhound that has raced at Capalaba in 2023 is eligible to nominate. Total prize money for this race is $7,700.
Trainers are to nominate via OzChase by 9am on Wednesday, November 1.
