RACE ONE

WUNDERLAND (2) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when buried from inside the second line and then rattling late to be just a half-head from the winner. Trying to take them all the way two starts back when starting in red figures, he can look to capitalise.

MADAME WEST (1) was having her first appearance on this deck last start when pressing forward from gate 4 to take control and once in front was able to see it out with an 8m margin. Holding on for 3rd at Tamworth the start prior, she has all the options from this alley in a race with form.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (3) has great speed out of the machine and from this gate can look to fire some early bullets to get across. Missing the board in five runs since her last win, she can chime in here.

FOR NO REASON (7) should secure the economical trip and with a front line with a few go forward types, she can be tucked away ready for the gaps to appear.

SELECTIONS: WUNDERLAND (2), MADAME WEST (1), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (3), FOR NO REASON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WUNDERLAND (2) to win

RACE THREE

HEAD NOISE (1)
should appreciate the ace in this line up after her past two have been from the second line. Buried in the run last start, she was never clear, and the start prior made some nice closing metres when 3rd to ROSARITO. She lands all the options to capitalise here.

BERTILS FIREFOX (7) resumed from a spell with a strong finishing 2nd behind RIVERINA FLASH. Faced with the outside second line when second up, he was able to charge hard in the closing stages and grab a 3m winning margin. With the cosy trip, he can be probing for an opening.

BATED BREATH (4) was sent forward from gate 3 last start to sit parked and despite the tough trip, was still grafting it out to be 4m from the winner. She can apply the heat again here to feature.

SCHOOBY (8) claimed a victory at HQ two starts back when finishing best to score by 3m. Asked to hang tough outside the leader last start when holding 3rd, he has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: HEAD NOISE (1), BERTILS FIREFOX (7), BATED BREATH (4), SCHOOBY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAD NOISE (1) to win

RACE FOUR

PRESS STATEMENT (3) was chasing four on end two starts back when looking to take them all the way in a qualifier but collared on the wire. A wide gate was his undoing last start in a strong AP mile and with a return to The Triangle, can look to flash early speed and see it out.

STORMTIDE (8) was second up from a spell last start when snagged back from gate 5 and sent up the poles for the shortcuts. Sticking to the inside, he charged home to grab the silver, just a head from the winner. Fitter again, he can follow through to throw it down.

EURO BEAT (7) was taken back from gate 6 here two starts back and then owned superior closing power to arrive for a 2m margin. Just a neck away last start at HQ, he will be probing for gaps.

HESTON ZOOLANDER (6) was a winner five runs back when stomping it out in front but in four runs since, has struck trouble and had little luck. With a record of 4 from 6 on this deck, he cannot be discounted.

SELECTIONS: PRESS STATEMENT (3), STORMTIDE (8), EURO BEAT (7), HESTON ZOOLANDER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-6-7-8

RACE FIVE

CHRONICLES (2)
was a winner here two starts back when sent to sit parked and able to grind out a tough win over the 2040. Trying to see out the AP mile last start when sent out as fav and fading late to be 3m from the winner, he finds the gate to chase the front and fight them off.

TRUE GRIT SHADOW (4) faced a second line gate last start and finding the 1x1 trail was able to finish over the top of them to claim a 5m margin. Sent forward from gate 5 the start prior and fighting on for 3rd, he finds the right conditions to issue a challenge in this.

WANDARY DELIGHT (1) took the trail here two starts back from this same gate and was able to hold on for the bronze behind TOMMY BLIGH. A soft trip behind the speed can see her in the mix again.

MATAI REACTOR (8) faced this same gate last start when making some late metres to grab 3rd behind TULHURST CUDDLES. Under 4m away two starts back, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: CHRONICLES (2), TRUE GRIT SHADOW (4), WANDARY DELIGHT (1), MATAI REACTOR (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

SUBSTITOOTH (2)
did his share of work last start when put into the contest when a fighting 3rd to MISTER HART. Faced with the outside front line at The Creek two back, he was game in defeat when parked and under 5m from the winner SO AM I. He can bring up start 100 in style.

MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (3) should appreciate settling closer to the action here after some wider starting gates in recent outings. Chasing from back in the pack last start when eased from gate 5 for position, he was too far back from outside the front line the start prior. He can issue a challenge.

THE MAHARANI (7) is effective with one closing shot and form this gate should be tucked away and ready to make a play when the gaps present. Runner-up along the passing lane last start, she will be probing.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (6) is afforded no favours from the wide gate but with the right tempo, he can be looking to make a closing raid. Not too far away in recent starts, he just cannot seem to snare one.

SELECTIONS: SUBSTITOOTH (2), MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (3), THE MAHARANI (7), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  SUBSTITOOTH (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

PURPLE SHADES (4)
was taken off the gate last start from gate 6 and settling rearward made some late ground to finish midfield. 3rd here three runs back when sent out as fav from outside the second line, he can look to slide into the running line and prevail.

SONNY ORLANDO (2) has not had much barrier luck in recent outings, faced with the second line at his past two and gate 5 the start prior. Trying to make ground wide off the track last start, he has the early pace to find the front and if able to control the tempo, can give some cheek on the engine.

TACKAS LAST DANCE (7) found the pocket trail from gate 3 two starts back and when the gap opened, pulled clear to post an 8m margin. Too far back last time, she will be searching for space.

MALIBU DREAM (9) made the most of gate 1 last start when darting through to set the tempo and take them all the way. Fitter again after three runs back from a spell, she can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: PURPLE SHADES (4), SONNY ORLANDO (2), TACKAS LAST DANCE (7), MALIBU DREAM (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PURPLE SHADES (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

CHASIN DREAMZ (4)
faced a second line gate last start when finding the 1x1 trail and finishing 3m from the winner MALIBU DREAM. Snookered from inside the second line two starts back, she can press the button early here and from the front look to take control.

CRIME BOSS (5) was second up off a spell here last start when locked away from inside the second line. Opting to move wider at the 250, he stood the leader a big break as he was the widest runner swinging for home. Charging hard, he arrived for a smart victory. The gate stings but he is up to it.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (7) chased late for the silver behind GABBYS IDEAL last time out, finishing 2m astern of the winner. Tucked away here, she will be searching for a gap to chime in.

TELL ME THIS (8) settled in the 1x1 trail from outside the second line two starts back and making a late play was only a blister short of victory. A similar trip can see him feature once again.

SELECTIONS: CHASIN DREAMZ (4), CRIME BOSS (5), TORQUE IN CONTROL (7), TELL ME THIS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHASIN DREAMZ (4) to win

RACE NINE

LONG TIME COMING (1)
should appreciate an improved gate after facing the second line at his past two and gate 6 over the AP mile three runs back. Buried away last start, he has the early hustle to burrow through and with the options thereafter, finds the conditions for a breakthrough.

GIDUP CAPTAIN (3) was resuming from a spell last time out and tackled much tougher opposition than he will face off against here. Eased from gate 4 in that contest and never really getting warm, a return to one-win company can make a big difference to his chances.

ONE CHAIN ROAD (7) settled in the pocket trail last start and held on for 2nd when 6m from the winner DOOLITTLE DAZZLER. With the chance of the stalking trip, he can be ready to strike.

OUR ULTIMATE RUBY (9) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when working home from the 1x1 trail behind MADAME WEST. The gate makes it a tougher ask.

SELECTIONS: LONG TIME COMING (1), GIDUP CAPTAIN (3), ONE CHAIN ROAD (7), OUR ULTIMATE RUBY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LONG TIME COMING (1) to win

RACE TEN

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (2)
has faced the starter three times since resuming from a spell, the latest when finding the trail and finishing just out of the money behind FOR OUR DELIGHT. A beaten fav from gate 1 when resuming three runs back, she can settle handy and gets her chance for a breakthrough.

ALWAYS IDLE (7) was first up since last December when contesting one of the three races that were completed last Thursday. Sent to the front from gate 2, she was unable to see it out, missing the money after starting deep into the red. Fitter for the run, she will be probing to challenge in this.

TAKE COURAGE (8) is chasing what is proving to be an elusive 2YO victory but has placed in three of her past five appearances. Making late ground to grab 3rd last start, she has podium claims again.

SOMEONES WATCHING (5) has no favours from the ide gate as he continues to chase his first victory. Not suited last start when sitting parked, he can be joining in late in this line up.

SELECTIONS: FANCY LIKE BARBIE (2), ALWAYS IDLE (7), TAKE COURAGE (8), SOMEONES WATCHING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FANCY LIKE BARBIE (2) to win
