RACE ONE

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (9) just cannot seem to find a way to grab victory this campaign, finishing 2nd in 6 of 12 since returning from a spell. Eased from gate 6 last start, he was attacking the line in the closing stages to be 2m from the winner YOUNG CONQUEROR. Tempo will aid his chances of arriving.

WUNDERLAND (1) was building towards a victory after finishing with the silver in successive starts and then franked that assessment here last week to take them all the way. From gate 2. Holding them wide in the early stages, he then saw it out with a 3m margin. The gate gives him repeat hopes.

ASHLEE NITRO (3) has worked her way back into form and lines up here with wins on this deck in two of her past three starts. Grabbing victory by an eyelash last start, she is right in the fight.

FLO RYDA (7) was runner-up here two starts back when settled in the 1x1 trail and making a closing raid to be 4m astern of the winner. An economical trip can see him probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (9), WUNDERLAND (1), ASHLEE NITRO (3), FLO RYDA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (9) to win

RACE THREE

BERTILS FIREFOX (3)
has returned from a spell in top order, hitting the board in all three starts, including a win from deep field here two starts back after starting from outside the second line. Buried in the run last start from inside the second line, he can be close enough to cash in.

ULTIMATE CHANCE (4) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when sent to the post as the fav at Marburg. Looking to take them all the way when finishing 3m astern of the winner CRIME TIME, she can press forward once again to issue a challenge.

FIVE STAR GEM (7) capitalised last start at the 2040 from gate 3 when pressing the issue in the early stages to take control and then take them all the way. He will be searching for gaps from this alley.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (5) eased from gate 6 last start and with no one wanting the spot three back the poles, darted up to grab it. Finding the space to then grab victory, he is in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: BERTILS FIREFOX (3), ULTIMATE CHANCE (4), FIVE STAR GEM (7), DOOLITTLE DEXTER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BERTILS FIREFOX (3) to win

RACE FOUR

THE HARRIS HAWK (3) has been racing in consistent fashion recent starts, the latest when darting up the passing lane to get within a half-neck of the winner ASHLEE NITRO. Claiming victory up the passing lane two starts back, he has the gate to settle handy and take his shot.

HEAD NOISE (2) found the ideal conditions last week, darting through from gate 1 to hold then wide and then see it out with a 3m margin to spare. Buried in the run two starts back and never getting a shot at them, she can settle close to the speed and chase the repeat.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (1) should appreciate the improved gate after starting no closer than gate 5 at her past seven in succession. Closing out in nice style last start, she is a solid place player.

HOIHO (7) is staring down a hat-trick of victories and will be relying on some factors in his favour from this alley for the threepeat. Overcoming tough gates at his past two starts, he just needs a gap.

SELECTIONS: THE HARRIS HAWK (3), HEAD NOISE (2), HIGHLY RESPECTED (1), HOIHO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HARRIS HAWK (3) to win

RACE FIVE

TACKAS LAST DANCE (9)
was a winner from the trail here three starts back after sliding in behind the speed from gate 3 and then pulling clear to an 8m margin. Beaten by gate 6 at her next start, she was luckless last week when buried in the run. Closing momentum can see her arrive.

SAMMYS SECRET (1) secures the options off the arm here and with early speed likely secures his opportunity to dictate his position. Runner-up to the in-form ROLLE IN GOLD four runs back when trying to lead throughout, he closed strongly last start when buried and looms large in this.

ROLLONX (2) had an early dip for the front last start but after being repelled, eased to the fence but never really went on with it over the closing stages. Runner-up three back from the front, he will fire some early bullets.

TELL ME THIS (7) settled in the running line here last week and was trying to make ground over the closing stages, grabbing the bronze behind DOOLITTLE DEXTER. He will be probing for gaps in this.

SELECTIONS: TACKAS LAST DANCE (9), SAMMYS SECRET (1), ROLLONX (2), TELL ME THIS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-9

RACE SIX

REESY (9)
was a debut winner as a 2YO in December last year and has since transferred to the Jack Butler barn. Leading throughout in her mainde breaking victory, her two trials in readiness for the latest campaign have been strong enough that she can overcome the gate first up.

HOLLADOR DAISY (1) was first up from a spell last time out at Marburg where she made full use of the inside gate to keep them wide early and then take them all the way. Stripping fitter from that performance where she was first up in nine months, she has all the options to chase a repeat.

OUR ULTIMATE RUBY (2) faced a second line gate last time out and was making good ground over the latter stages to be under 4m from the winner. Settling closer aids her chances here.

GIDUP CAPTAIN (6) was sent to the post as fav last start and after settling in the running line was sent forward at the 1200 to take control. Gripping on to a 2m 3rd, the wide gate makes it tough.

SELECTIONS: REESY (9), HOLLADOR DAISY (1), OUR ULTIMATE RUBY (2), GIDUP CAPTAIN (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  REESY (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

TOBEFAIRTOYOU (2)
has faced the starter on five occasions in search of her first career victory and will be fresh up here since the G1 Triad Final. Earning her way into the big one with a 2nd in a heat via the passing lane, a recent trial suggests that she is well up to opening the account in this.

ON DA NOD (9) has placed in three of his four career starts, the latest when hitting the line in good order behind ART OF ROCK. He faces the second line for the first time after all four starts have been from the front, but with the right trip can make a closing raid.

LADY ANTHEIA (4) has been runner-up at her past two in succession, the latest when striking trouble and copping a trial embargo. Earning the return, she can be thereabouts.

SOMEONES WATCHING (5) was sent to sit parked last start and was on for the fight when grinding it out to finish5m astern of the winner. Midfield the start prior, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: TOBEFAIRTOYOU (2), ON DA NOD (9), LADY ANTHEIA (4), SOMEONES WATCHING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TOBEFAIRTOYOU (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

WHATA REACTOR (3)
settled in the running line from a second line alley last start at Marburg but could not eat into the deficit when out of the money. Fading after a tough trip sitting parked over the AP mile two starts back, she can get handy and looks to get her chance in this line up.

SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (8) was making good ground in the closing stages last time out from this same gate behind PURPLE SHADES. Too far back but still picking a few off late three runs back behind RIVERINA FLASH, with the right early trail, she can be issuing a closing challenge.

AROONA (2) burrowed through to lead last start but was unable to see it out to finish near the rear. Making some late metres after retreating from gate 6 two starts back, running line cover helps here.

MAMMALS DESTINY (4) has finished midfield at her past three starts, the latest at Marburg from a wide gate. Positioning cheaply will be key to her chances of a podium finish.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (3), SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (8), AROONA (2), MAMMALS DESTINY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR (3) to win
