RACE ONE

DOLLAR BUCKS (1) started from inside the second line last start and was soon snookered in the run and struck trouble over the mile at HQ. Asked to hang tough when parked here two starts back and finishing midfield behind subsequent winner BARKWAY MARGARET, he lands the gate to capitalise.

GET ME OUTTA HERE (6) faces a tough ask from the outside alley but was game in defeat here last week from gate 5. Rolling forward to sit parked on that occasion, he was in for the fight to get within a neck of the winner OLLIE ONE SHOT. Placed both prior attempts, he can throw it down.

SKLYAR BREE (2) will get the chance to dart straight in behind the speed here and secure the economical trip. In the second half from outside the second line last start, she can make a late play.

SELECTIONS: DOLLAR BUCKS (1), GET ME OUTTA HERE (6), SKLYAR BREE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLAR BUCKS (1) to win

RACE THREE

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (7)
will be relying on some factors in his favour from this gate but spotting space with track to work with can see him arrive. Runner-up to BETILS FIREFOX two starts back, he was making some late ground last time from deep field and will be ready to strike here.

MALIBU DREAM (5) burrowed through from gate 1 here two starts back and taking control was able to see it out with 2m to spare. Beaten by the outside second line gate last start, she is afforded no favours from another tough alley here but can press forward to issue a challenge.

MOLLIDOR (1) chased hard from the trail when runner-up to BEE GEES BEST here two starts back and then last start was not suited at the middle trip. Back to the sprint from this alley helps.

MISS LILY MAY (6) has had two runs back from a spell, the latest when strong to the line from the outside gate over the sprint trip at HQ. Grabbing the silver, she can be making a late raid again here.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (7), MALIBU DREAM (5), MOLLIDOR (1), MISS LILY MAY (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

CONGO LINE (1) is looking to bounce back into winning form and looks to have secured the ideal set up. Eased to find position from gate 4 last start, he was chasing behind WHATA ROLLER. Making some nice metres in the closing stages two back, he should secure the ideal trip from this alley.

THE GROGFATHER (6) is given no favours from the wide gate and has faced wider gates at his past two starts. Trailing the field home last start behind BEACH VILLA when trying to make ground against the tempo, the smaller field size will help his challenging chances in this line up.

FIRST STRING (2) returns from a spell after his last appearance came in a strong up to 90 event when down the line behind TITIAN RAIDER in a slick mile. With a great record on this deck, he can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: CONGO LINE (1), THE GROGFATHER (6), FIRST STRING (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CONGO LINE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

DIPPED IN SILVER (5)
sat parked here two starts back and was game in defeat in holding on for 2nd behind subsequent winner TOMMY BLIGH. Eased from this gate before trying to make metres wide of the track over the 2040 last start and just out of the money, he might just be able to pinch this.

FUNNILY ENOUGH (9) has placed in three of his past four starts, the latest a tough effort over the AP mile. Working forward from gate 4 to sit parked, he was still giving on the wire to finish just a head from the winner. Despite a second line gate, he can roll the sleeves to throw down a challenge.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (4) eased from gate 5 over the sprint trip at HQ last start and was wide off the track when attacking the line in smart fashion. Positioning cheaply will be key to her chances.

MAN OF ACTION (6) is afforded no favours from the outside paint as he looks for back-to-back victories. Overcoming the outside second line at Marburg last start, he can roll forward to feature.

SELECTIONS: DIPPED IN SILVER (5), FUNNILY ENOUGH (9), HEAVENLY WISDOM (4), MAN OF ACTION (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DIPPED IN SILVER (5) to win

RACE SIX

RIVERINA FLASH (4)
settled back in the pack from a second line gate last time out and had the ideal trip to descend on them in the closing stages and pull clear to a 5m margin. Eased from gate 6 before rallying late last start when 3rd to HOIHO, he can be looking to power over the top once again.

PURPLE SHADES (2) pressed the button off the arm last start from gate 4 and worked across to take control. Steadying the tempo through the middle stages, he weas able to fight off the challengers to claim a 5m margin. He has the gate to chase the repeat.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (7) made the most of the circumstances here last start to press forward from gate 4 to take control. Gunned down over the latter staged to claim 2nd, he will be probing for gaps.

BATMAN BART (8) can follow through in the early stages to secure position to aid his chances. A tough 3rd last start at Marburg after sitting parked and finishing 3m away, he can offer here.

SELECTIONS: RIVERINA FLASH (4), PURPLE SHADES (2), CAPTAIN FOXTROT (7), BATMAN BART (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  RIVERINA FLASH (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

ILLBEWATCHING (1)
along with JOHNROD are the only two runners in this line up that can boast a win at the middle trip. Making some late metres over the sprint trip last time out from a wide gate, he was locked away here three back behind OOGA CHAKA. The gate provides the options to cash in.

ONE CHAIN ROAD (5) is still giving away plenty of ringcraft to his opposition here, having only faced the starter on nine occasions. Buried from the inside second line last start, when spotting the gap, he charged hard to arrive for victory. Despite the wider alley, he can build further off that to challenge.

JOHNROD (9) secured the ideal trip behind the speed from gate 1 here two starts back and arrived in time for victory. Asked to hang tough when parked last start and fighting, he can make a closing raid.

EMMALEEN (2) eased from the wide gate here tow starts back to settle at the rear before launching a sustained sprint wide off the track to claim a smart win. Runner-up last start, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ILLBEWATCHING (1), ONE CHAIN ROAD (5), JOHNROD (9), EMMALEEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ILLBEWATCHING (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

IMA BEACH BABE (1)
was chasing a hat-trick of victories here three starts back when finding 1x1 cover but finishing near the rear behind LITTLE CHANGE. Unplaced at her next two starts including last start in a strong AP mile, a return to The Triangle from this gate can see her bounce back.

PRINCE JOY (9) tackled a second division qualifier last start from a second line gate where he was making some nice metres in the closing stages to finish midfield. Strong to the line along the passing lane two back, with the right tempo he can be issuing a closing challenge.

YOUNG CONQUEROR (6) eased from gate 4 to settle rearward last start before scraping the outside paint in the stretch to descend on them to score. He will need a similar map and tempo to repeat.

CHARM OFENSIVE (7) settled in the running line last start and was trying to make some closing metres when looming up but could not finish it off. She will be buried and searching for openings.

SELECTIONS: IMA BEACH BABE (1), PRINCE JOY (9), YOUNG CONQUEROR (6), CHARM OFENSIVE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA BEACH BABE (1) to win

RACE NINE

LOUS DREAM (4)
was resuming from a spell last start at The Creek when tackling a 70Heat as he does here. Pressing forward form the wide gate to sit parked, he was grinding it out and was game in defeat when holding on for the bronze behind WHATA ROLLER. The added fitness is a plus.

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1) was looking to take them all the way last start in a similarly graded contest and led them deep into the stretch, only to be collared on the line by KEAYANG MARVEN. That winner has subsequently won and with all the options he can throw it down once again.

SO SIRIUS (7) has faced the starter three times since arriving in Qld, the latest when locked away three back from the inside second line gate. Likely snookered again in this, he will be probing.

OBI ONE (5) tried to see it out from the front over the AP mile two starts back when a half-head in arrears of the winner GOLIGHTLY. The wider gate makes it a tricky ask.

SELECTIONS: LOUS DREAM (4), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1), SO SIRIUS (7), OBI ONE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LOUS DREAM (4) to win
