RACE ONE

With this race seeing all four off equal marks, the two-time winner JUSTABITLIKESULLY (4) looks to have found the perfect set up to chase his third win of the season. Safely away from the 10m last start to find the trail, he powered away to post a mammoth 59m victory. He looks too classy.

MIRA SATURN (2) has been runner-up at her past four in succession as she chases the maiden breaker. Tackling older performers at Marburg last start, she was best of the chasing pack behind NATTY PAGGER in a smart performance. With a safe start from the tapes, she can throw it down.

ICANTDOIT (1) was returning from a spell last time when sent out deep into the red but was never a factor, fading when the tempo increased. Stripping fitter off that run, she can be better here.

SELECTIONS: JUSTABITLIKESULLY (4), MIRA SATURN (2), ICANTDOIT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JUSTABITLIKESULLY (4) to win

RACE TWO

A mixed maiden to kick off the pacing events for the day where PENNIE PACKER (4) should have garnered plenty of experience from her race debut. Taking the trail in that contest, she loomed strongly in the stretch, only to be collared in the last stride by CYCLONE TONY. She can go one better.

CROSS WALK (2) was first up for the new barn on Friday and was sent forward off the arm to take control. In front until the last strides as AARDIES MIRACLE arrived up the passing lane, he can look to fire out again and from the front will be gripping on deep into the stretch.

SWEETNSPICY (3) tackled the 3YO Fillies Triad Consolation last start where she loomed strongly to get within a half-neck of the winner FIAS CHARM. With a smart trial to open the pipes, she is in the mix.

MY ULTIMATE RYANO (6) was trying to make a closing raid here two starts back when 2m from the winner ROCKTIME. Midfield behind AARDIES MIRACLE last start, the wide gate makes it an ask.

SELECTIONS: PENNIE PACKER (4), CROSS WALK (2), SWEETNSPICY (3), MY ULTIMATE RYANO (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Tackling mobile conditions last start when landing the inside alley, EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (8) was locked way three back before trying to launch a late raid in grabbing the silver behind KING OF THE NORTH. Faced with a 40m tape two starts back, she can settle handy enough to stake a claim in an open trot.

NATTY PAGGER (9) was building towards a victory after finishing as the runner-up in four successive appearances. Finally finding his race last start at Marburg, he was safely off the mark and worked to the front from the 30m tape and put them away with a 30m margin. He can look to repeat the effort.

SUPPLANTER (2) was sent for a break after his last start when finishing as the runner-up from the 20m tape behind GET USED TO IT. Striking trouble two starts back, the front tape is a big bonus.

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (3) returns from a spell after her last start when finishing 2nd behind FENOMENAL. Normally a safe beginner, she can look to find a good spot to feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (8), NATTY PAGGER (9), SUPPLANTER (2), JUST CALL ME MOLLY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (8) to win

RACE FOUR

He may have come up just a little short in recent outings, but ARCHILLES (6) has still been a model of consistency, finishing runner-up in four of his past five. Making a late challenge last start after being buried in the run and then only a half-neck from the winner, he finds the right opposition to cash in.

FANTASY BLASTER (3) pressed the issue here three starts back to take control before releasing for the trail and then finishing best to score. Luckless two starts back when chasing THE IRISHMAN, she faded out last start but finds the set up here to produce a sharper return.

RANCHO MAN (2) resumed from a spell at Marburg in fine style, overcoming a second line gate to claim a smart victory. With good hustle out of the machine, he can find the position to feature.

BLUE BLOODZ (1) tried to take them all the way from this same gate last start in a QBRED contest, finishing 14m form the winner BORSELLINO. Resuming from a spell, he can grab a minor fresh up.

SELECTIONS: ARCHILLES (6), FANTASY BLASTER (3), RANCHO MAN (2), BLUE BLOODZ (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ARCHILLES (6) to win

RACE FIVE

A newcomer to Qld and fresh up since his last Bathurst appearance in early October, KALYPSO KING (7) finds the right type of opposition first up despite the wide gate. At the rear last start behind subsequent winner OLIVIA SHANNON, he can defy the outside paint.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (3) backs up from a last start victory where he sat in the trail from inside the second line before making the closing shot a winning one. With good speed out of the machine, he can fire out to find the poles and with the options thereafter, will be hard to hold out.

FLY CHEVAL (1) started from inside the second line last time out and was soon shuffle to three back and never a factor over the closing stages. She can settle closer and with the right trip be ready to throw down a challenge.

LANCELOT BROMAC (2) tackled the 2138 last start and had an interrupted passage when trying to make a late play. A return to the mile from this gate can see him getting the head down to chime in.

SELECTIONS: KALYPSO KING (7), WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (3), FLY CHEVAL (1), LANCELOT BROMAC (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KALYPSO KING (7) to win

RACE SIX

The beneficiary of a sizzling tempo last start through the opening stages, HY VOLTAGE (6) sat quiet after retreating from this same alley before dialling up the amps and charging home over the top. Not suited when forced to park out two starts back, with just the front line at the mile, he can capitalise.

BETTOR ROMANCE (1) eased to the inside last start and was midfield as SO SIRIUS proved too slippery for the opposition. Runner-up here three starts back from this same gate when just a half-head from the winner, she can secure the ideal trip in behind the speed to issue a challenge.

JACCKA WALLY (2) was asked to sit parked from gate 3 at Redcliffe last start and was fighting hard in finishing 4m from the winner PELICAN FLY. Fitter from that where he was first up, he can feature.

O B LEGAL (5) Claimed a qualifier two starts back when settled in the running line from a second line gate and owning superior closing speed to score. Strong to the line last start, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: HY VOLTAGE (6), BETTOR ROMANCE (1), JACCKA WALLY (2), O B LEGAL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HY VOLTAGE (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

Another tricky contest here where SOHO CASABLANCA (4) might just have found his race. Faced with the outside second line last start when trying to make a late play and grabbing 3rd, the start prior he closed it out strongly after retreating from gate 6. He can press forward here to stake a claim.

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (7) has not been seen since the Constellations Carnival where he was runner-up in the Derby Consolation, making late metres after being locked away behind NEPTUNE. HE faces a stiff gate for the return, and with no public hit out to prepare, will improve off these achievements.

ROLLED IN GOLD (8) has been racing consistently and comes up with the gate to receive an economical trip. Holding on for 3rd in sizzling time at Redcliffe last start, she will be probing.

HARRY KANE (6) was runner-up in a Peak of The Creek heat after securing a good trip on the poles as OK BOOMER took them all the way. Always facing a task in the final, he can feature despite the gate.

SELECTIONS: SOHO CASABLANCA (4), BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (7), ROLLED IN GOLD (8), HARRY KANE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SOHO CASABLANCA (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

First up in Aus last time out with no public trial to prepare, it was a handy enough debut in the Sunshine State from LOUTENANT (11). Locked away from the inside second line gate, he was best of the chasers behind the smart FRANKIE FEROCIOUS. The gate hurts but some tempo will be a plus.

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (1) will be looking to protect the inside running and has a handy enough record at the middle trip. Just a head from victory at Redcliffe three starts back when looking to lead throughout, she has worked in the run in both starts since, with the inside alley helping her chances.

THE WATERBOY (3) faced gate 6 last start where he was eased in the early stages to settle deep field on the poles. Closing it out in nice fashion when 4m away, he is going better than the numbers suggest.

DATTITUDE (4) rolled forward to sit parked last start and after the tough trip was still giving when holding on for 2nd behind SISTA BLISS. He can force the issue to feature here.

SELECTIONS: LOUTENANT (11), ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (1), THE WATERBOY (3), DATTITUDE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: LOUTENANT (11) to win

RACE NINE

Afforded no favours from outside the front line, ROCK BOTTOM (7) will need a few things to go his way, but this is a wide-open old timers’ contest. Grabbing 2nd last start in FFA company behind TURN IT UP, he tackled the tapes the start prior when not that far from them. He can defy the gate.

SWAGGIE SHANNON (1) was just behind the placings here three runs back from this gate when COMMODORE JUJON was too slick. Tackling Sat night company in both runs since, he as beaten by gate 7 at the latest outing. A return to a fence trip appeals and he will be trying to issue a challenge.

OUR MAJOR DAY (12) was hitting the line in nice fashion here last start after retreating in the early stages from the outside front line. With another tough gate, he can be making a closing raid again.

MAJORDOIT (2) was forced to hang tough at Redcliffe two starts back and held on for the bronze. Locked away from inside the second line last start, he can be handy enough to grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: ROCK BOTTOM (7), SWAGGIE SHANNON (1), OUR MAJOR DAY (12), MAJORDOIT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK BOTTOM (7) to win
