RACE ONE

DARCYS FIREBALL (6) was banished to the trials last start after making an error from inside the second line an error two starts back when starting deep into the Red approved costly, but with a sharp trial to gain the return ticket and back to his own age, can see him home

GETOVERROVER (5) was a winner three starts back against the older horses, finding the trail and finishing hard to claim a neck margin threw his chances away behind DARCYS FIREBALL at his next start, but really caught the eye, hitting the line strongly bouncing back last time back to his own age can see him throw it down.

MIX IT UP (4) is still chasing a maiden victory. He tackled the pacers last start at Redcliffe when buried in the run. An error two starts back when just 3 m from DEXTEROUS DEXTER.

SELECTIONS: DARCYS FIREBALL (6), GETOVERROVER (5), MIX IT UP (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DARCYS FIREBALL (6) to win

RACE TWO

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (2) was runner up again, last start at Redcliffe when trying to take them all the way from gate two leading them deep into the stretch she was collared by Samantha C which followed a half neck defeat at Redcliffe with early hustle she can take control, and this might be the day she gets on the board.

THE TAX EVADER (5) drew gate, one last start when second up from a spell holding the pocket trail. He was keen and then faded over the latter stages as PENNIE PACKER proved too strong. A wide gate is not ideal, but this certainly looks easier than the second up run.

PEEJAY MACK (1) was first up of a freshen here last week when fading out to finish at the tail from the inside gate, she can be sharper.

SELECTIONS: SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (2), THE TAX EVADER (5), PEEJAY MACK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (2) to win

RACE THREE

BLACKJACK BETH (8) was running up here last week when making a closing play to be just a neck from the winner midfield the start prior from gate five after easing into the running line she should secure the ideal trip behind the speed and can look to make the closing shot a winning one

FLY CHEVAL (1) started from inside the second line here last start was soon buried in the run and never a factor there after beaten by gate 62 starts back when retreating she should appreciate the improved gate in this lineup and with the early hustle will be trying to fend them off in the stretch

SHEZ GOT BLING (9) will have the early options from this gate with the chance to dart down to a three poles position. A good spot to follow the speed from midfield last start. She can be finishing hard.

LANCELOT BROMAC (2) will be better suited from this gate after being forced into gate, one here last week and finding himself buried in the run with the right trip. In the running line he has podium claims.
SELECTIONS: BLACKJACK BETH (8), FLY CHEVAL (1), SHEEZ GOT BLING (9), LANCELOT BROMAC (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BLACKJACK BETH (8) to win

RACE FOUR

Last seen in the Constellations Carnival where he tackled the inaugural The Great Square and made an error soon after the start, TOP OF THE MOMENT (10) can look to start his campaign in style. Breaking maiden ranks just five starts ago at his second career start, he trialled smartly for the return.

FENOMENAL (12) faces a class drop back to Tuesday company after tackling the Spring Sprint last start where a wide gate under mobile conditions dented his hopes. Still beating a few home as subsequent winner FUNNY FACE arrived, he can work into this to throw down the challenge.

ALLANON (3) was safely into stride here last week and from the front was trying to see it out when collared in the last strides. Striking trouble two starts back, he has podium claims once again.

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (5) was resuming from a spell here last start and after a safe start, held the pocket trail and then finished best to claim a head margin. Early manners aid her hopes.

SELECTIONS: TOP OF THE MOMENT (10), FENOMENAL (12), ALLANON (3), JUST CALL ME MOLLY (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

A tricky contest here made that little more difficult to assess with questionable 2138 form from a few of the runners. MAJOR MONDO (7) was faced with the outside second line at Redcliffe last start when sent around them in the middle stages for a tough 3rd. A winner at his previous three, he can defy the gate.

FANTASY BLASTER (3) fired out to find the poles first before taking cover last start and then held on for the silver behind SHEZA CRACKER. At her best when up near the speed, she can look for the fence with the options thereafter to issue her challenge.

THE IRISHMAN (4) was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when sent to the post as fav over this trip but after a first panel in sub 29, was out of bullets a long way from home. He can bounce back.

SOHO CASABLANCA (11) worked in the middle stages last start when sitting parked as he faded but was still under 10m from the winner. The gate hurts but he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR MONDO (7), FANTASY BLASTER (3), THE IRISHMAN (4), SOHO CASABLANCA (11)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Resuming from a spell with a smart victory when finishing over the top of a strong tempo, CATSEYE BEACH (3) comes up with the handy gate to chase the repeat. It has been an interrupted campaign, but with some benefit from the return run, he can tuck in behind and look to grab another W.

LUVBITE (4) is at his best up near the speed and from this gate can be taking a good chomp early to look for the lamp lighting duties. Chasing last start at Redcliffe from the running line, a return to the bigger deck is in his favour and he can be close enough to feature.

HUGO GEORGE (1) will be first up from a spell and stepping out in Qld for the first time after arriving with the Butler barn. With a tidy trial to prepare, he has the gate to feature fresh.

OFFYAROCKER CROCKER (5) will be second up for the new stable after a midfield return fresh. Faced with an inside second line gate, a return to the front should aid her chances.

SELECTIONS: CATSEYE BEACH (3), LUVBITE (4), HUGO GEORGE (1), OFFYAROCKER CROCKER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CATSEYE BEACH (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

Resuming from a spell last week, BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (6) eased from this same gate and was hitting the line soundly over the closing stages to finish 7m from the winner. Runner-up in the Qld Derby Consolation two starts back behind NEPTUNE, he went into last start without a trial. Tightened from that run, this is well within reach.

SPORTING RAGE (9) was sent forward to sit parked and worked hard from gate 5, in for the fight in finishing 3m from the in-form winner GWYNETH P. Overcoming gate 7 here three starts back when grinding out a tough win, he can be trailing through early and trying to throw down the closing challenge.

SHES IN LINE (3) has placed in three of her past five, the latest when trying to see it out from the front but collared near the line when 2m from the winner. Gate speed aids her chances to feature.

HARRY KANE (8) was luckless here last start when searching for a gap that never opened, still only 6m from the winner, LITTLELIONELJAMES. Likely to be buried in this, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (6), SPORTING RAGE (9), SHES IN LINE (3), HARRY KANE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

With two second line gates since arriving from NZ, LOUTENANT (6) does not receive much respite from 6. Runner-up at his Qld debut when buried as FRANKIE FEROCIUOUS dialled up a slick last half, he as then covering plenty of track through the middle stages last start at the 2138. He can bounce back.

SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (7) was sent forward from gate 7 and put the power on in the middle stages of the 2138 trip to take over. Trying to fight them off in the stretch, she was grabbed in closer to the wire by JESEEKA. 3rd to OK BOOMER the start prior, she can throw it down again here.

JESEEKA (9) has a margin of just a half-head the difference between having four successive wins against her name. Grabbed in the last strides two starts back, she bounced back last time and warrants respect.

BRONSKI DELIGHT (2) has had two runs back from a spell and should be tighter for the outing. Under 2m from MIKI MAGIC when resuming, she can be close enough to be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LOUTENANT (6), SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (7), JESEEKA (9), BRONSKI DELIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LOUTENANT (6) to win

RACE NINE

Finding his way into veteran’s company for the first time, SHADOW MINISTER (1) should also appreciate an improved gate after facing wider gates in recent outings. Beaten by the outside front line at Redcliffe last start, he snares all the options to find his way back into winning form.

ROCK BOTTOM (7) faced this same gate last week over the middle trip and after making a small error soon after the start, was forced to reset and then sent forward to sit parked, fading after the tough trip to finish rearward. Runner-up to TURN IT UP two starts back, he can charge hard to challenge.

ITS MR CLOONEY (10) was trying to work into the contest wide off the track last start but bever got warm. Fading after sitting parked the start prior, the gate stings at the sprint trip, but he can feature.

KASH US BACK (2) is never too far from them in this grade and last start was rattling late in the closing stages to get within a lip of the winner COMMODORE JUJON. He can be handy enough.

SELECTIONS: SHADOW MINISTER (1), ROCK BOTTOM (7), ITS MR CLOONEY (10), KASH US BACK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SHADOW MINISTER (1) to win
