RACE ONE

CHEETAH LODGE (7) will be first up for the new stable, transferring to the Butler barn following his last outing over the AP mile back in August. Mapping for the perfect trip in behind the speed, he can be hunting a gap and pounce in a race that has plenty of live chances.

SERGIOS ROCKET (6) made the most of the inside alley here last week at her third Qld appearance, burrowing through to hold them wide and see it out form the front. Asked to do it tough when holding on for the bronze two starts back from this gate, the gate stings her challenging chances.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (1) started from inside the second line last start and was soon shuffled to three back along the inside before making a late raid to be 4m from the winner. The gate is a huge plus.

DEVOUGED (4) eased from gate 5 last start and from deep field had the closing power wide off the track to arrive for the prize. A gritty 3rd after sitting parked two back, he is right in this.

SELECTIONS: CHEETAH LODGE (7), SERGIOS ROCKET (6), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (1), DEVOUGED (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CHEETAH LODGE (7) to win

RACE TWO

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (1) was soon locked away four back on the inside last time out and trying to make a late play when just out of the money behind MUSIC MOTH. Too far back after retreating from gate 4 the start prior, she lands the chance to be much closer to the action to stake her claim.

ULTIMATE CHANCE (2) fired through to set the speed last start over the AP mile and with a solid tempo out in front, was over-powered in the closing stages. Runner-up at her four previous attempts in succession, she can get across and try to fight them off once again.

FIVE STAR GEM (3) grabbed the bronze last start after being buried in the run and taking the gap to be 3m from the winner MUSIC MOTH. Settling close to the action, he can be in the mix.

PRETTY GOOD REASON (7) eased last start and from back in the pack never really warmed up, finishing nearer the rear. With the economical trip from this gate, she can grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: LOVIN MISS DIXIE (1), ULTIMATE CHANCE (2), FIVE STAR GEM (3), PRETTY GOOD REASON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE THREE

GRIGORA (8) was beaten by gate 5 last start when caught searching for position and forced to retreat. Strong to the line for the silver here two starts back behind MIGHTY GEORGE, he finds the set up to get the right trip and chase victory at career start 50.

WHERES OUR MONEY (7) was supported to run fav here two starts back when having his first run for the new stable and after finding the front over the 2040, faded to finish well beaten. Striking trouble last start at Marburg, he will be tucked away behind the speed here ready to offer.

MONTEREY JACK (1) will appreciate the improved gate after a run of wide and second line alleys in recent outings. He can burrow through to hold up and from the front will give them plenty to chase.

THE HARRIS HAWK (5) found 1x1 cover here two starts back and had the speed to arrive and claim a 2m margin over the 2040 trip. Unable to sprint up last start, he can be making a wide run here.

SELECTIONS: GRIGORA (8), WHERES OUR MONEY (7), MONTEREY JACK (1), THE HARRIS HAWK (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GRIGORA (8) to win

RACE FOUR

MUSIC MOTH (2) turned her fortunes around last start, working forward from gate 4 to find the front and once in control justified the short quote to claim a 3m margin. Taking the confidence from that run, she can get forward again here and look to go back-to-back.

SUNRISE RUBY (8) has placed at her past two starts, the latest form the 1x1 trail after facing this same alley. Finishing 6m from the winner FEELIN FLIRTY, the start prior she was locked away on the inside and did not have the smoothest passage. Trailing through, she can position to challenge.

TULHURST CUDDLES (5) landed the 1x1 trail from this gate last start and when asked to make the challenge, had the speed to get past and claim a 4m margin. Positioning cheaply will be key.

BERTILS FIREFOX (1) did not really get warm last start from a second line gate as DEVOUGED powered home to score. Settled in behind the action from this alley, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MUSIC MOTH (2), SUNRISE RUBY (8), TULHURST CUDDLES (5), BERTILS FIREFOX (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MUSIC MOTH (2) to win

RACE FIVE

SKYLAR BREE (2) faced the outside second line last start and from deep field was trying to make some closing metres when 3rd behind FOXI FIVE. With good speed out of the machine, she can look to get forward here and finds the right set up to capitalise.

TOBEFAIRTOYOU (8) found the ideal conditions last start to break maiden ranks, firing off the arm from gate 2, taking control and pulling away to a big margin. Tackling the Triad Final two starts back, she can get the right trail to throw down the challenge.

GLENLEA BELLA (9) was a winner here three runs back when asked to do it the tough way outside the leader, pulling away to claim a big margin. Runner-up in both runs since, she can be thereabouts.

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (3) resumes from a spell for the Butler stable after her last appearance back in May. Not asked for much in a recent trial, she can be handy enough to feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: SKYLAR BREE (2), TOBEFAIRTOYOU (8), GLENLEA BELLA (9), ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

WHATA REACTOR (8) faded over the 2040 last start from the pocket trail which followed a 4th when trying to make late metres over the same trip from back in the pack. Runner-up here four runs back when trying to see it out from the front, she can be hot and cold, but is up to this if the thermostat is calibrated.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (6) has the outside paint from his own poor manners after throwing away his chances from gate 1 here two starts back. Sent to suit parked from this gate last start when finishing midfield, he has not been too far out of proceedings and finds conditions here to challenge.

TELL ME THIS (8) found 1x1 cover last start but could not go when the power went into the race, fading to a midfield finish. Tucked away from this alley, he will be probing for openings.

SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (4) is a two-time winner on this deck, the most recent four runs back when overcoming the second line to arrive. Despite a potentially awkward alley, she cannot be overlooked.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (8), MAJOR MISCHIEF (6), TELL ME THIS (8), SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

CALL TO ORDER (7) is a 2YO stepping up against the older horses here and will need an element of luck from this gate as he looks in danger of being snookered in the run. The tempo was against him last start at HQ and the start prior was asked to sit parked. He looks up to the task.

ENZED FLYER (3) faced a second line gate at Marburg on Sunday and was wide off he track trying to reel in the leader and winner BEARS BEST, holding on for the silver. Outclassed the start prior over the AP mile, he has arm hustle and from this gate can look to throw it down.

SOMEONES WATCHING (4) tried to see it out from the front last start after darting across from gate 5 but missed the board behind PUMPKIN PAT. Runner-up three of his previous four, he can chime in.

BEARS BEST (9) went 53 starts as a maiden before breaking through on Sunday at Marburg when leading throughout from gate 1 and claiming a 16m margin. The gate makes beating the handicapper a tough ask.

SELECTIONS: CALL TO ORDER (7), ENZED FLYER (3), SOMEONES WATCHING (4), BEARS BEST (9)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL TO ORDER (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

CALL ME TRISH (9) is afforded no favours from the outside second line but might just get the right set up with some front-line tempo. Darting through on the passing lane to score three starts back, she grabbed bronze at her next outing and can look to overpower them late here.

SONNY ORLANDO (4) has placed at his past three starts, the latest when best of the rest behind the clear out winner BEACH ON FIRE. Grabbing bronze two starts back from a second line gate, he can get forward from this alley to throw down the challenge at career start 200.

CHASIN DREAMZ (5) worked forward from gate 4 last start and was able to get to the front and once in control fight them off to claim a 3m margin. Buried in the run the start prior when 3rd, the gate dents her hopes.

LARA BAY (1) was a winner here four starts back when finding the 1x1 trail from gate 3 and finishing best to justify the red figure quote. Out of the money in all three since, the gate helps her chances.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TRISH (9), SONNY ORLANDO (4), CHASIN DREAMZ (5) LARA BAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TRISH (9) to win
