RACE ONE

MIRA SATURN (4) looked to have found the ideal conditions last start to open her account but made an error at the 1100 which ended her day. The bridesmaid in five successive attempts prior to that, she can look to bounce back here and claim an overdue win to break maiden ranks.

SISTER KATIE (2) found the trail at the 1628 last start and chased to the wire when just a half-head from the winner ICANTDOIT. Runner-up two starts back at Menangle, she has placed in four of her eight to date and if she can handle the extra trip at her first attempt, can throw down the challenge.

DEAD SET CRAZY (6) returns from a spell after being shut down following his last start when making an error from the tapes. With a steady Redcliffe trial to prepare, he is in the mix fresh.

SELECTIONS: MIRA SATURN (4), SISTER KATIE (2), DEAD SET CRAZY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MIRA SATURN (4) to win

RACE TWO

Not much has been in the favour of BRONSKI ZULU (6) since resuming from a spell. His latest effort was full of merit against experienced campaigners when hitting the line in nice order behind GLENLEDI BOY. Strong late two starts back, he finds the right opposition here to capitalise.

COSMIC FLYER (7) started in the red at Redcliffe from outside the front-line last start and working home wide off the track, had to settle for the bronze. Making an error behind the mobile two starts back, it was a smart effort to finish within 6m of the winner. The gate stings, but he can challenge.

GO CLOUR MY WORLD (5) resumes from a spell after a four-start campaign to kick off his career that saw him shut down after completing a hat-trick of victories. He is a big danger first up.

FINANCIAL BURDEN (1) proved too strong last start when sitting parked from gate 5 and able to graft out a strong win. Taking benefit from that effort, an improved gate aids his chances.

SELECTIONS: BRONSKI ZULU (6), COSMIC FLYER (7), GO CLOUR MY WORLD (5), FINANCIAL BURDEN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BRONSKI ZULU (6) to win

RACE THREE

Placed in all three starts since returning from a spell, DENIS THE PUNTER (3) looks to have found the ideal conditions to capitalise. Holding them wide from gate 1 last start, he led them deep into the stretch and held on for the silver behind the smart looking CHICAGO BART. He can fight them off.

ARKUNA (8) ran the leader to a head on debut and then was second up at Redcliffe on Thursday when content to sit parked and out tough them to claim a 3m margin. Needing some factors in her favour from this gate, if she can spot the opening in time, she can beat the handicapper.

CONVINCED (2) held the 1x1 trail last start and grabbed the bronze when 7m from the winner. Runner-up three back when resuming from a spell, he can be grabbing another minor here.

SCORES (9) has now had two runs back from a spell and displayed good improvement second up when chasing home behind the smart looking CHICAGO BART. With the right trial, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: DENIS THE PUNTER (3), ARKUNA (8), CONVINCED (2), SCORES (9)
SUGGESTED BET: DENIS THE PUNTER (3) to win

RACE FOUR

A tricky trot with several runners capable of claiming victory but manners will all important.  ALLANON (3) has placed in two of his past three, the latest when working to the front and almost pinching it when runner-up to ITSALLANDOVER. A safe beginner, he can look to see it out.

GETOVERROVER (10) made a costly error last start that ended his chances and saw him near the rear. Tackling a 3YO only contest the start prior, he found the trail from the 20m tape and was best of the chasers behind DARCYS FIREBALL. Positioning cheaply can see him issue a challenge.

ITSALLANDOVER (9) was shooting for a hat-trick here on Friday when leading them up over the mobile 2138. Running them along in front, he faded to the rear. A bounce back would not surprise.

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (8) returned from a spell in perfect order three starts back when claiming a first up win. Collared by TOP OF THE MOMENT second up, a safe start can see her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ALLANON (3), GETOVERROVER (10), ITSALLANDOVER (9), JUST CALL ME MOLLY (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Another wide up to 40 contest where if FUNNILY ENOUGH (3) can pinch a panel or two in front, he might take some stopping. Forced to work home wide off the track from the second line at Redcliffe two runs back, he was snookered at Marburg last start. He can fire forward and grip on.

FLY CHEVAL (6) capitalised from the good gate at Marburg last start to burrow through, hold the front and take them all the way. Not suited in the sloppy conditions at 2138 the start prior, her run here three back saw her under 3m from the winner and despite the gate, she can throw it down.

KALYPSO KING (9) was over one month between runs for his first Qld appearance and is another four weeks between his second up outing. Forced to hang tough first up, he stays under notice here.

LANCELOT BROMAC (1) is not suited from this alley and will be shuffled back in the run. He kept coming two starts back when just a neck from the winner and will be winding up late.

SELECTIONS: FUNNILY ENOUGH (3), FLY CHEVAL (6), KALYPSO KING (9), LANCELOT BROMAC (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FUNNILY ENOUGH (3) to win

RACE SIX

This is the first of three Australasian Young Drivers Championship races where if MAJOR MONDO (8) has the factors in his favour, should secure the ideal trip. Completing a hat-trick of victories in his first three Qld appearances, his past three have all been from tough gates. He looks up to this.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (1) rolled forward from gate 6 here two starts back, and despite being forced to sit parked, was able to grind out a narrow victory. Taken to Marburg last start, she was not suited from outside the second line and back to the tight gate here, can look to fight them off.

MAGICOL IDEAL (5) made the most of a tight gate at Marburg last start when burrowing through to lead them up and take them all the way. Sitting parked here two starts back, he can feature here.

LULU MAE (9) sat parked last start and in a strongly run contest at the mile, faded over the latter stages. A starchy winner two back when parked and fighting them off, she can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR MONDO (8), SHEZ ALL STYLE (1), MAGICOL IDEAL (5), LULU MAE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR MONDO (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

The second of the Young Drivers heats where BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (9) can look to overcome the second line and should be further tightened from his latest start where he was third up this time in. Copping some heat in front last start when fading late, this looks easier and he can capitalise.

KERBANG (7) made the most of gate 1 to set the tempo and take them all the way here two starts back, but it came at a cost, copping the ODM embargo after making an error and causing a false start at the first take. Chasing home last start behind ARKIN WICKED, he can defy the gate to challenge.

YANKEE C J (2) found ideal conditions at Marburg last start, forcing the issue to get to the front and once in charge, claimed a 5m margin. Fitter again after three runs back from a spell, he is in the mix.

THE IRISHMAN (4) tackled the Inter Regional heat last start and was angled to the poles from the second line gate and never featured. A winner two starts back, he has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (9), KERBANG (7), YANKEE C J (2), THE IRISHMAN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

Driven hard off the arm from gate 1 to hols the front last start in a small but select 3YO contest, ALWAYS SMOKIN (5) faded in the closing stages. The form from that race has been franked, with the first four across the line all subsequently winning and he can add to that list with a win here.

BETTING ORIGIN (2) tackled a 2138 contest last start when fresh and from the pocket trail went within a half-head of victory. Just 4m from WISPER A SECRET in a Peak of The Creek Heat two starts back, he has good arm speed and from this gate and back to the mile can throw down a challenge.

LOUTENANT (10) tackled a standing start contest last time out and after being sketchy off the mark, secured a soft trip on the markers but had the speed to arrive for the prize. The gate hurts here.

CONGO LINE (8) should secure the ideal trip without spending a penny from this gate and can be ready to dart through along the inside when the gaps appear.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS SMOKIN (5), BETTING ORIGIN (2), LOUTENANT (10), CONGO LINE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

The third of the Young Drivers Heats where ROCK BOTTOM (7) can show his hustle off the arm to get forward and look to take control. Pressing the button from this gate at the middle trip three starts back, he fought them off with a strong win. His past two have been from the tapes and back to mobile conditions can cash in.

SHADOW MINISTER (1) has good early hustle which will avail the options from this gate. Taking the trail here two starts back from this same alley, he held 3rd when 1m from the winner ROCK BOTTOM. Chasing for the bronze again last start, he can be throwing it down here.

KASH US BACK (8) settled in the running line last start and with the right trip was able to angle free and charge home to claim a new career PB with a 3m margin. He will be probing.

COMMODORE JUJON (9) sat parked last start and after the tough trip was still fighting to the line behind KASH US BACK. Runner-up two starts back, he has podium claims again here.

SELECTIONS: ROCK BOTTOM (7), SHADOW MINISTER (1), KASH US BACK (8), COMMODORE JUJON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK BOTTOM (7) to win
