RACE ONE

An open contest to start the climax to ID23 where a rub of the green is all ARGYLE (5) needs in his favour. Running some super races but unable to convert them to a W, he was game in defeat last start when parked and holding 3rd as AARDIES FLASH darted up the passing lane. Runner-up to subsequent winner PACIFICO DREAM three back, this is well within reach.

LUVBITE (1) was hitting the line strongly from gate 7 here three starts back when under 2m from the winner and followed that with a 3rd to the free wheeling BIG SKEWY. He snares all the options from this gate and can throw down the challenge.

MISTER FONZI (10) was beaten by gate 7 last start when snagged off the arm to get down to the poles and chase some luck. FRANKIE FEROCIOUS was too slick the start prior, but out to the middle trip and some tempo, he can chime in here.

SO SIRIUS (4) was a winner at the mile here three starts back when working forward and sitting parked was able to grind it out. Runner-up to AARDIES FLASH last start, the middle trip asks some questions.

SELECTIONS: ARGYLE (5), LUVBITE (1), MISTER FONZI (10), SO SIRIUS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ARGYLE (5) to win

RACE TWO

The final heat of the Australasian Young Drivers Championship where AARDIES FLASH (6) can look to continue his hot form. Taking the trail from gate 1 last start, when angled to the passing lane, he exploded through the gap, running a slippery last panel. Claiming a small 3YO event two starts back, 4 of the 5 defeated runners have since been successful and he can go again.

SCOTCH EN ICE (4) has resumed from a spell in super order, claiming successive Redcliffe victories. Overcoming the outside second line last start, he held the 1x1 trail first up and closed it out in good order. Positioning cheaply will be key to issuing the challenge in search of the threepeat.

HANDS ON (3) had the run of an impending winner when beaten a lip here two starts back and franked that when leading throughout last week. He can press forward and stake a claim.

STORMTIDE (1) has good early speed out of the machine and comes up with the ideal gate to hustle through early. Best of the chasers behind FRANKIE FEROCIOUS last start, he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: AARDIES FLASH (6), SCOTCH EN INCE (4), HANDS ON (3), STORMTIDE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: AARDIES FLASH (6) to win

RACE THREE

Eased to find position from gate 5 last start, GLENLEDI BOY (1) had the closing power to descend on them and claim a narrow victory. Game in defeat when sitting parked the start prior, he lands all the options from this alley and with a great record from the trail, looks to get his chance to capitalise.

GOTTA GO MILKING (8) has been bereft of luck in recent outings, the latest when buried away from the inside second line and needing a gap that did not arrive in time. Gate 7 saw him get forward looking for a position before having to ease and then still not far from the winner ART JESTER. The smallest slice of luck can see him challenge.

BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (3) was beaten by a wide gate last start when retreating for position as FRANKIE FEROCIOUS stepped it out in front. 2nd to ALTA REVELRY two starts back, he can press forward to feature.

AMAMI (2) has been going better than the figure form may suggest, his latest effort full of merit when parked outside PACIFICO DREAM and only fading in the closing stages. He can grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: GLENLEDI BOY (1), GOTTA GO MILKING (8), BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (3), AMAMI (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-8

RACE FOUR

Sectionally superb throughout the Series but just unable to convert the efforts to valuable points, CANTFINDABETTORMAN (2) lines up here if not required as the emergency in the big one. Strong to the line behind LEAP TO FAME to grab 3rd over this trip, gate 12 in a sizzling time set in front by SPEAK THE TRUTH made it too tough. From this alley, he looks to get every chance.

MANILA PLAYBOY (12) earned good points on opening night when chasing home for 2nd behind SWAYZEE and then was not too far from NERANO on night two. His Series unravelled on night three when sent to sit parked outside LEAP TO FAME and firing up. Saved for one shot, he can challenge.

L L COOL J (11) faced this same gate over this trip on night three and was making good metres in the closing stages to finish midfield behind BETTER ECLIPSE. Over this trip, with the right cart into the contest, he has podium claims.

BLACKSADANCE (5) was luckless over the sprint heats and then at 2138 found the line nicely to just miss the placings behind NERANO. Sitting parked over this trip last week was the catalyst for him fading out and finding cheap position again looks the quandary.

SELECTIONS: CANTFINDABETTORMAN (2), MANILA PLAYBOY (12), L L COOL J (11), BLACKSADANCE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CANTFINDABETTORMAN (2) to win

RACE FIVE

It seems an awkward alley that LEAP TO FAME (6) will have to overcome, but he comes into the Final as the only horse to win each heat round. Two of those were the fastest and biggest margin of the night, his effort when taking control last week over this trip highlighted with a sizzling 26.4 last split with the plugs in under a stranglehold. This is Larry’s time!

NERANO (1) has jumped out of the ground this Series and has shown a lethal closing sprint when saved for one shot. A winner of last week’s heat which was over this trip when rattling hard to grab them late, a three-fence trip can be ideal again and with the chance to spend zero in the run, can cash all his chips in the last 250.

BETTER ECLIPSE (11) is Mr Versatility and if the pressure is too much up front, has the speed to descend on them. Strong to the line over this trip last start with a slick last half wide off the track, there is no fluke in his two heat wins and he is right in the mix.

FUTURE ASSURED (4) might just be the thorn between some roses from this gate as he can look to press forward and find a forward position. Sectionally, he has been super and last week got home in 53.6 | 26.5. If he is close enough and has some bullets left, he can grab minor money.

SELECTIONS: LEAP TO FAME (6), NERANO (1), BETTER ECLIPSE (11), FUTURE ASSURED (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

There should be plenty of front line heat generated in this contest which should give HY VOLTAGE (9) the chance to sit back and issue one closing raid. Gate 7 was his undoing last start when snagged back but he was strong to the line in the closing stages. Working in the run two starts back, he can be charging late.

BIG SKEWY (4) was building towards a victory after some amazing efforts in defeat, including a half-head 2nd behind CLASSIE WASHINGTON when sitting parked and attacking throughout. Forcing the issue over this trip from gate 6 last start and claiming victory, he will throw it down again.

ROMANEE (8) was first up for the new stable last start when eased from the wide gate to find position before catching the eye with a strong close out. Needing a slice of luck, he will be probing.

PACIFICO DREAM (11) took full advantage of the gate last start when firing out to lead and from the front was able to see it out. Chasing behind subsequent winner HOLI STARZZZ two back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: HY VOLTAGE (9), BIG SKEWY (4), ROMANEE (8), PACIFICO DREAM (11)
SUGGESTED BET: HY VOLTAGE (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

Three heats of this Series were held at Marburg, Redcliffe and here at The Creek to bring the field together for this Final. BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) finished 3rd in the Marburg heat wen making some late ground. Since finishing runner-up here on Tuesday, he loves a peg trip behind the speed which he can get here and saved for the passing lane, might just pinch this.

NOT THE KINGSWOOD (3) won the Marburg heat when overcoming the outside front line gate, forcing the issue and pressing forward to take control. Fighting them off to take the win, he was beaten by a wide gate here last week. With the speed to find the front, he will be gripping on.

CHAMONIX (11) is the class runner of the field but is given no favours from outside the second line. Sent to sit parked in the heat, he had to settle for 2nd and will be right in the fight again here.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (9) showed early speed from outside the front line in the Redcliffe heat of this Series and then forced to lead the one-wide line was able to claim a tough win. He has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY BLAZE (1), NOT THE KINGSWOOD (3), CHAMONIX (11), JILLIBY JACKPOT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

After three rounds of heats, it looks that maybe only bad luck that can beat JUST BELIEVE (4) as he prepared to enter unchartered waters as the only horse of either gait to clean sweep successive Inter Dominions under a three heat format. OLLIVICI could not get near him in the final round, PLYMOUTH CHUBB couldn’t. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

QUEEN ELIDA (5) clashed with JUST BELIEVE at their last hit outs in readiness for this Series and she was bullied into submission when beaten 4m. Runner-up through the shorter heats, she stepped up to own a smart win at the 13 furlongs last week. She looks the biggest danger, if there is in fact one.

PLYMOUTH CHUBB (10) has the biggest chance of landing a knockout upset owing to his changeup speed which was on display on night 1. Runner-up in both subsequent rounds, if its too hot in the kitchen up front, Chubby can sneak in and grab the chocolates.

ADELLE (12) almost threw her chances of making the final away with an error in the second round. Back to her best when closing it out in nice order over this trip last week, driven for one run, she looks the best of the local hopes.

SELECTIONS: JUST BELIEVE (4), QUEEN ELIDA (5), PLYMOUTH CHUBB (10), ADELLE (12)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 4 / 5-10 / 1-5-6-10-12

RACE NINE

The consolation of the Inter Dominion will also see some input from runners that did not contest the Series, one of those being the veteran, KINGDOM COME (1). Starting wide on the second line last start he was buried on the poles and made some good closing metres. He can land straight in behind the speed here and effective off tempo, can give a sight at a price.

CONSTANTINOPLE (4) will line up here if not required as the emergency for the main Final. Holding on for 3rd on opening night when 4m from OLLIVICI, his round 2 chances expired with an error. Midfield to JUST BELIEVE on the Final night, he is the obvious threat and will throw it down.

POWDERKEG (10) made a mess of the start in the final heat round but chased hard to catch the field and sectionally produced a smart effort. If he can get the start right, he can feature.

SHOW ME THE GRAY (9) was first up in Qld and for over 12 months when snaring the trail from a second line gate last time and running the winner to a head. With added fitness, he is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: KINGDOM COME (1), CONSTANTINOPLE (4), POWDERKEG (10), SHOW ME THE GRAY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: KINGDOM COME (1) win / place

RACE TEN

Despite coming up with the wide gate, the recent form of SISTA BLISS (6) suggests that she will get her chance to capitalise. Sent forward at the bell to take over last start, she was only grabbed in the closing stages when she looked to have them beat. Only a head away three back, this looks within reach.

APHRODITE (8) was sent forward from gate 6 here two starts back and asked to grind it out first over, was only 5m from the winner. Making good metres in the closing stages last start, she will need some factors in her favour from this gate, but if the gap arrives, she can challenge.

SWEET MIRACLE (9) is a newcomer to Qld that joins the Gemma Hewitt stable, arriving with a tidy record and lightly races as a 6YO. Making ground last start at Penrith, she is in the mix.

SHEZA CRACKER (2) has slick moves out of the machine and can be looking to get to the poles. Taking a trail two starts back at the bell. She tried to see it out last start. She is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SISTA BLISS (6), APHRODITE (8), SWEET MIRACLE (9), SHEZA CRACKER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SISTA BLISS (6) to win
