RACE ONE

BUKTHSYSTEM (8) struck trouble in the run last start which proved costly, but he was still under 5m from the winner. Gate 6 was a hurdle too high the start prior when eased back and then searching for gaps but with the chance to follow through early, can be positioned to stake a claim.

BLACKJACK BETH (1) was too far back in the slop last start over the AP 2138 after facing a second line gate and finishing midfield. 7m from the winner two starts back, if a gap opened sooner the deficit could have been less and with all the options from this gate, she looms large.

BATMAN BART (3) should appreciate a return to the front line after his past two have been from second line gates. A ten-time winner here on The Triangle, he can get forward to feature.

BEACH ON FIRE (7) was a winner here fiver runs back when leading throughout from gate 1. A passing lane 2nd at his next start, the past three have all been at HQ and back to this deck helps.

SELECTIONS: BUKTHSYSTEM (8), BLACKJACK BETH (1), BATMAN BART (3), BEACH ON FIRE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BUKTHSYSTEM (8) to win

RACE TWO

The Northern Heat of the Regional Championship with qualifiers to battle it out on Inter Dominion Final night. THE HARRIS HAWK (7) looks set to secure the ideal trip which also matches his preferred pattern. Powering over the top to score two starts back, he can stalk the speed, ready to swoop.

INCOGNITO (1) should take good benefit from his last start when resuming from a spell at his first run for the new stable. Setting the speed from gate 1, he just peaked in the closing stages after setting a strong tempo. Stripping fitter and again with the ace gate, can throw it down.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (6) is given no favours form the outside front line, but he was strong to the line last start and caught the eye when chasing SMIRKS LIKA BOSS. Not far from KING VANCE two starts back, he is in the mix.

OYSTER STRIDE (4) was doing some good work in the closing stages last time out behind SUBSTITOOTH when 4m astern of the winner. He can get forward to make a play.

SELECTIONS: THE HARRIS HAWK (7), INCOGNITO (1), JILLIBY JACKPOT (6),OYSTER STRIDE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-6-7

RACE THREE

GREY CADILLAC (3) steps out for NSW visitor Troy Williams and should be handling the track configuration with plenty of racing on the tighter Penrith circuit. Not too far from them after sitting parked in a slick time two starts back, a wide gate stung last start. This looks within reach.

RIVERINA FLASH (8) was a winner at the 2040 three starts back when finishing best after starting from this same gate. Runner-up to HEY MISTER TAYLOR at his next appearance, he was too far back last time. The right early trail can see him issue a challenge.

GOLDEN BAY (5) takes his first look at The Triangle but should find this a shade easier than recent assignments. Outclassed behind FOR REAL LIFE last start, he can be thereabouts in this.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (1) lost the driver in the run last start which had followed a shot at the 1207 sprint when just out of the money. The gate will help secure the right trip here to chime in.

SELECTIONS: GREY CADILLAC (3), RIVERINA FLASH (8), GOLDEN BAY (5), HIGHLY RESPECTED (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GREY CADILLAC (3) to win

RACE FOUR

SPORTING RAGE (4) heads to the Peninsula for the first time off the back of some tough gates at each of his AP outings. Unable to work into it from outside the second line last start as MYDADSAID took the passing lane win, he was just a neck away the start prior. This looks within reach.

MIGHTY GEORGE (8) was a winner here three starts back when finishing best to claim the W, with that franked when both 2nd and 3rd have subsequently been successful. Not far from the winner last start, he can trail through to settle close enough to issue the closing challenge.

SHADYS CULLECT (1) was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when beaten by gate 6. Finding the 1x1 trail, she as not too far from the winner FEELIN FLIRTY. Back to gate 1, she is right in the fight.

GRIGORA (7) was game in defeat last start when sitting parked and grinding out a tough 2nd when only a lip short of victory. He will be tucked away, ready for the gaps to appear.

SELECTIONS: SPORTING RAGE (4), MIGHTY GEORGE (8), SHADYS CULLECT (1), GRIGORA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SPORTING RAGE (4) to win

RACE FIVE

ENGLISH DANCE (4) has been tackling stronger opposition than he will square off against here, the latest when beaten by a wide gate over the AP 2138. With a string of tough barriers in recent starts conspiring against his winning hopes, a return to this deck can be the catalyst to find winning form.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (9) overcame this gate last start when finishing hard over the top to claim victory. Unable to finish it off the start prior when setting the speed over the 1207 short course, the right tempo can see her issue a closing challenge.

HIGHVIEW SADLER (2) has hit the board in all four starts on this deck, the latest when just a half-neck short of victory. Too strong for them two starts back, he is right in the mix once again.

MELTON INSULTED (1) started from inside the second line last start and was much sharper when grabbing the bronze behind TEACHERS PET. From this alley, she can be staking a claim.

SELECTIONS: ENGLISH DANCE (4), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (9), HIGHVIEW SADLER (2), MELTON INSULTED (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ENGLISH DANCE (4) to win

RACE SIX

AQUA CRUISER (8) overcame the outside second line three starts back when working home strongly wide off the track. Placed in both attempts since, the latest was a tough effort when rolling forward to sit parked and he finds the right conditions to keep the consistent form rolling.

MY GIRL MANDY (2) fired out from gate 1 last start and from the front tried to take them all the way but faded over the closing stages to finish rearward. Runner-up here three starts back, she can be handy to the action and can issue a challenge.

OUR ULTIMATE RUBY (1) eased from gate 6 here two starts back and then had the power to round them up. Just 2m away last start, the improved gate is a huge plus.

DIPPED IN SILVER (3) was a winner here three runs back when finishing best to claim a 2m margin. A beaten fav from gate 1 at his next start, he has podium claims in this line up.

SELECTIONS: AQUA CRUISER (8), MY GIRL MANDY (2), OUR ULTIMATE RUBY (1), DIPPED IN SILVER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: AQUA CRUISER (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

HEAVENLY WISDOM (7) was buried three back over the AP 2138 last start and just missed the money as the in-form SKIPPERS SWAN SONG arrived. Sweating on the 1 getting her to the passing lane with momentum, she can be ready for the gap to arrive and dart through.

SHOWEM SIMON (1) has struck trouble at each of his past two starts which has ended his chances. Fiver runs back he fired across from gate 5 to lead and was only collared in the closing stages. Finding the chance to dart off the arm, he can issue the challenge in this line up.

OFFICE BAD BOY (9) sat in the trail from gate 1 last time out and held on for the bronze behind SHAKALAKABOOMBOOM. The gate dents his hopes here, but he can be thereabouts.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (8) eased from the front-line last start and settling rearward was unable to get warm over the closing stages. Grabbing the bronze two starts back, she can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENLY WISDOM (7), SHOWEM SIMON (1), OFFICE BAD BOY (9), GETALOADATHISGIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAVENLY WISDOM (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

VERMONT (4) is never too far from the action and last start was strong to the line to get within a blister of victory behind THE CASUAL GOOSE. Hitting the line strongly three starts back when 3m astern of the winner, if she can position cheaply, this is well within reach.

AWAYOVERNIGHT (5) should take further benefit from his latest outing when second up from a spell. Resuming over the 2040 trip, he faded in the closing stages after setting the tempo. Grinding out a starchy victory second up, he can press forward to throw down the challenge.

TACKAS LAST DANCE (8) was caught trying to find position last start and ended up being snagged back to the rear and then darting up the poles. Runner-up her previous two, she is in the mix.

FEELING THE POWER (9) was left chasing from a similar gate last start behind AWAYOVERNIGHT. The alley is certainly against him again and place looks his best option.

SELECTIONS: VERMONT (4), AWAYOVERNIGHT (5), TACKAS LAST DANCE (8), FEELING THE POWER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: VERMONT (4) to win

RACE NINE

BREEZE ON BYE BYE (1) is moving ever closer to the elusive maiden breaker after placing at her past two starts. Chasing for the bronze behind DEEP REGRET two back, she was trying to repel the challengers last start when nabbed late by CHLOES PROMISE. She can get the breakthrough.

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (9) has come up short in 19 attempts, the latest when runner-up via the passing lane behind ENZED FLYER. The gate makes it a tough ask, but in a wide open maiden, his ticket might be just as valid as the opposition.

SISTER MACK (2) found the front last start from gate 3 before releasing to BREEZE ON BYE BYE and holding on for 3rd. That was her first cheque and with a similar trip can chase a similar result.

PRECOCIOUS KATE (6) should take benefit from her latest outing where she was resuming from a spell. Making an early error, she faces the ODM embargo but can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: BREEZE ON BYE BYE (1), FANCY LIKE BARBIE (9), SISTER MACK (2), PRECOCIOUS KATE (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

TOBEFAIRTOYOU (1) pressed forward form gate 5 last start and found the front but was unable to repel the closing challenge of GEM PUNTER PETE. 3rd placed FINANCIAL BURDEN has since won an AP event and with the improved gate, she looks to get every chance to capitalise.

NIGHT SHADOW (7) made the most of the gate at Marburg last start to burrow through from gate 1, lead them up and fight off the challengers. With the chance of the soft trip behind the speed, he can be ready to issue a challenge.

HOLLYWOODBOUND (3) was asked to sit parked two starts back and was game in defeat when just a head from the winner. Another tough effort last start when 3rd to CALL ME TRISH, she is in the mix.

KISS ON THE BEACH (5) has now had two runs back from a long spell, the latest in much tougher company than she will face here. Starting manners will be key to her chances.

SELECTIONS: TOBEFAIRTOYOU (1), NIGHT SHADOW (7), HOLLYWOODBOUND (3), KISS ON THE BEACH (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TOBEFAIRTOYOU (1) to win
