RACE ONE

SWEETNSPICY (5) has had one previous attempt on this deck which was back in August and when striking trouble in the run. Returning from a spell with a tough 2nd, she was banished to the trials last start. The ability is there, if she puts it together, this is winnable.

AQUILA CASTELLO (1) is one of the visiting Troy Williams team and comes into this race fresh after his last appearance back in October. Not too far from them after racing in the trail on that occasion, he lands all the favour from this gate to challenge for the maiden breaker.

SHOOBEE RIGHT (7) chased from the 1x1 trail last start when midfield behind ENZED FLYER. Holding on for the bronze two starts back from the trail, he has second line options to chime in.

MY ULTIMATE RYANO (3) had his day ended last start when striking trouble soon after the start. Making an error two back, if he can manage to stay in his gear throughout, he has place claims.

SELECTIONS: SWEETNSPICY (5), AQUILA CASTELLO (1), SHOOBEE RIGHT (7), MY ULTIMATE RYANO (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

ARKUNA (3) was on debut last start when taking on a mixed age maiden where she settled in the pocket trail from gate 1. Looming up in the stretch, she went within a head of victory through a slogging closing split. With the experience and back to her own age, she can look to capitalise.

TIPPIN IT (7) was first up in Qld last start when finding the 1x1 trail from two the second line and finishing 5m from the winner CHLOES PROMISE. Needing a slice of luck from this alley, if she can spot a gap in time, she can be issuing a closing challenge.

DUZZY FEELGOOD (5) eased from gate 6 here two starts back and made some closing metres to be just outside the money. Again picking a few off late last start, he can be chiming in here.

SPORTS MODE (1) was in the market last time out when on debut but from the wide gate, eased to the fence and was never really a factor. Back to a tight gate and with added experience should help.

SELECTIONS: ARKUNA (3), TIPPIN IT (7), DUZZY FEELGOOD (5), SPORTS MODE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ARKUNA (3) to win

RACE THREE

PERFECT FEELING (2) eased from a wide gate at Marburg last start and once settled near the rear, was always facing a huge task with the race controlled in front. Sent forward to find the front here two starts back, he can be first to the poles here and with options thereafter gets his chance.

OUR UNCLE LES (4) worked forward from the second line to sit parked here two starts back and despite the tough run was in for the fight when holding on for the bronze. Finding the trail last start, he could not go with them in the closing stages but finds conditions here to challenge.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (9) has been in consistent touch, hitting the board in 8 of her past 10 starts. Making some good late ground at Marburg last time out, she can be chiming in again here.
HEAVENS BABY (7) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when chasing from the trail behind TRUE GRIT SHADOW. Strong to the line wide out the start prior, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: PERFECT FEELING (2), OUR UNCLE LES (4), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (9), HEAVENS BABY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: PERFECT FEELING (2) to win

RACE FOUR

BRAEVIEW FELLA (4) has placed at his past two starts at HQ, the latest from outside the second line when finishing strongly to be 1m from the winner SHEZ ALL STYLE. Using the passing lane two starts back when under 2m from the winner, this looks his chance to break a Redcliffe hoodoo.

CHIEF JUJON (9) started the punters elect last start despite the outside front line gate but could not repay the faith, finishing runner-up to CALL ME TRISH, 4m adrift. Pressing to the front and dictating two starts back and pulling clear to a 9m margin, he can be making a closing challenge in this.

FLOORLESS (8) was beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating and then trying to make ground wide out. Trailing through in the early stages here, she can be in position to feature.

BEAU HART (1) has the favours from this gate and last start was looking to take them all the way when collared in the closing stages. This is a tougher battle, but the gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: BRAEVIEW FELLA (4), CHIEF JUJON (9), FLOORLESS (8), BEAU HART (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BRAEVIEW FELLA (4) to win

RACE FIVE

BELLA BRONSKI (5) was resuming form a spell here three starts back when sent forward to find the front and keeping the speed on throughout, pulled clear to score. Runner-up at the 1207m trip second up, she was a beaten fav in a mare’s qualifier last start. Back to The Triangle, she can cash in.

PROSPECTUS (1) took the trail from this gate last start and was just out of the money behind ONE LAST ROLL. Buried away the start prior when midfield, she can be in behind the speed here and ready to issue a challenge.

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (6) sat back in the pack from outside the second line last start and never got warm as SUBSTITOOTH put them away. Runner-up both prior outings, he can chime in.

FOVEAUX MAJOR (9) finished at the tail of the field last start when buried away on the markers. With the right cart into this, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BELLA BRONSKI (5), PROSPECTUS (1), SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (6), FOVEAUX MAJOR (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BELLA BRONSKI (5) to win

RACE SIX

SHAKALAKABOOMBOOM (5) had the early hustle to dart across and dictate from gate 4 last start and once in control was able to take them all the way. Striking trouble the start prior which ended her day, three back she never had a clear passage. This is within reach if she takes control.

KULANI COURAGE (1) lands his chance to show some improvement after arriving in Qld and the improved alley can be the catalyst. Wide off the track at Marburg last start from outside the front line, he should land the options here and can issue the challenge.

CALL ME TRISH (8) had placed in successive outings from tough gates before again copping a wide alley last start. Finding the 1x1 trail, she had the power to descend for victory and is in the mix.

ARTS PEREGRINE (6) will be fresh up here and gets back to The Triangle after racing at The Creek in recent outings. Tempo will help his chances of swooping late.

SELECTIONS: SHAKALAKABOOMBOOM (5), KULANI COURAGE (1), CALL ME TRISH (8), ARTS PEREGRINE (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

THE EX HORSEIST (5) pressed the button in the early stages last start from gate 3 to find the front and once in control was able to grip on for a narrow victory. Beaten by a wide front-line gate over the AP mile the start prior, he can look to get forward and stake a claim.

JIMMY JOYCE (1) broke maiden ranks here five runs back at his first Qld appearance when darting through form this gate to take them all the way. A tough win and a 2nd since, he proved too strong with a win here three back when sitting parked. This is another step up, but the gate is a huge help.

GLENLEA BELLA (7) overcame the second line to score here three starts back and since then has found things tough. Back to this graded contest and with a soft trip, she can
MADAME WEST (3) should appreciate returning to his grade after tackling a mare’s qualifier last start. Grabbing the bronze two back when not far from LULU MAE, she is in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: THE EX HORSEIST (5), JIMMY JOYCE (1), GLENLEA BELLA (7), MADAME WEST (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

CHEETAH LODGE (1) started from inside the second line last time out and sat stalking the speed until the passing lane presented. Bounding through the gap, he pulled clear to claim a 5m margin and with the chance to again sit in behind, he can hunt down the prey once again.

SUBSTITOOTH (2) was back in winning form last start when rolling forward from gate 5 to sit parked and then pull clear in the stretch to a 4m margin. Strong in defeat in both prior starts, he can flex early here and from the front look to fight them off.

ETERNAL GOLD (6) eased from the wide gate over the AP mile last start and was making good metres in the closing stages to grab the silver. Rattling late last start, the tempo looks strong, and his Redcliffe record is super.

DOCTA FEELGOOD (9) is another that has a top record on this deck, and he should appreciate this level after tackling qualifiers at his past two attempts. A tough winner four back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CHEETAH LODGE (1), SUBSTITOOTH (2), ETERNAL GOLD (6), DOCTA FEELGOOD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-9

RACE NINE

GLOVER (2)
tackled a qualifier last start from gate 2 and after taking control soon after the start, was out of bullets turning for home, fading to miss the money. With good early speed, he can look to take control of proceedings and on the tight track will take some catching.

SCOTCH EN ICE (9) was returning from a spell last week when slotting into the 1x1 trail from gate 3. With a strongly run last 800, he descended on them to score a smart first up victory. The gate stings but stripping fitter and some early tempo, he can look to repeat.

SPIRIT AND SOUL (6) is given no favours from the outside paint but is not far off claiming a Qld breakthrough. Grafting out a tough 2nd last start when parked, he is in the mix once again.

MAJOR STATEMENT (8) takes his first look at The Triangle but should handle the tight track with plenty of good form around Penrith. Buried two starts back when 3rd, he is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: GLOVER (2), SCOTCH EN ICE (9), SPIRIT AND SOUL (6), MAJOR STATEMENT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GLOVER (2) to win
