RACE ONE

BETTOR DREAM SWEET (6) is making some steady improvements and then last start made a starting error. Finding a wide-open maiden to tackle, if able to get the start sorted, this looks a race that would be within her reach.

HAPPY SNAP (7) made some late metres last start after striking trouble in the run when grabbing the bronze. Beaten by the outside front line the start prior when taken back early, she can secure a soft trip early and with the gaps opening can issue a challenge.

COME ON TASCOTT (1) grabbed her first minor two starts back at Marburg when making some late metres for the bronze behind ULTIMATE HUNTER. The gate aids her chances of holding the winning raffle ticket.

FUNTIMES (3) eased to find position last start and was soon buried in the run and never got warm. Settling closer to the action, she is a podium hope in this.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR DREAM SWEET (6), HAPPY SNAP (7), COME ON TASCOTT (1), FUNTIMES (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (2) is a smart 2YO that arrives in Qld in search of the QBRED bonus to add to the Xmas stocking of connections. Yet to miss the money in eight career starts, he was runner-up to the talented RAVISHING SLOY last start which followed a big Penrith win. He looks a clear edge.

COSMIC FLYER (6) eased from the wide gate last start over the AP mile before closing strongly for the silver behind BRONSKI ZULU. Wide in holding 3rd here two starts back after being sent out the odds-on elect from this gate, he can look to issue some form of challenge.

MAC SWEENEY (5) caught the eye first up when making his first race appearance in over two years. Taken back and buried in the run and not sighting the space when needed last start, he can chime in.

RIGHTYO (8) will strip fitter from his latest appearance where he was resuming from a spell. Strong to the line from deep field to be under 7m from the winner, he can trail through early to feature.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (2), COSMIC FLYER (6), MAC SWEENEY (5), RIGHTYO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: 2 / 5-6-8

RACE THREE

TAKE COURAGE (8) is getting closer to breaking maiden ranks and might finally have found the conditions for the breakthrough. Using the passing lane last start to be under 2m from the winner BREEZE ON BYE BYE, she was 4m from THE TAX EVADER the start prior. This might be her chance.

TIPPIN IT (4) joins the Dixon stable and comes into this after a tidy effort last start when sitting parked and not that far from the winner BREEZE ON BYE BYE. With the right trip, she can look to issue a challenge in an open 2YO contest.

DUZZY FEELGOOD (3) is yet to hit the board in eight appearances but has not been that far from them at his past two. With the right trip, he can be thereabouts in this battle.

TAKEN BY SURPRISE (1) showed some early hustle last start before receiving the 1x1 trail. With the improved gate, he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TAKE COURAGE (8), TIPPIN IT (4), DUZZY FEELGOOD (3), TAKEN BY SURPRISE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TAKE COURAGE (8) to win

RACE FOUR

HOLLYWOODBOUND (9) has had four runs back from a spell, placing at the past three in succession. Chasing behind the talented TOBEFAIRTOYOU last start when 3rd, she was game when parked and holding 3rd to CALL ME TRISH the start prior. The gate hurts, but she is up to the challenge.

HOLME BOY (8) was trying to see it out from the front last start when leading until deep stretch, only to be rounded up, holding on for the silver. Making a late play for the bronze the start prior, he can be tracking home to issue a challenge in this line up.

COBBLER LANE (2) faded last start over the AP mile and can look to be better suited here with the chance to be first across to the poles. With options thereafter, he can chime in.

CONNIES SPIRIT (4) was just a half-head from the winner here three starts back and then last start was strong to the wire from outside the second line. She is a podium hope from a tricky gate.

SELECTIONS: HOLLYWOODBOUND (9), HOLME BOY (8), COBBLER LANE (2), CONNIES SPIRIT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HOLLYWOODBOUND (9) to win

RACE FIVE

DATSINAHURRI (4) was taken back last start and could not go from back in the pack. Buried in the run from inside the second line the start prior, three starts back she was just a neck short of defeat when trying to lead throughout. At her best in front, she can get forward to make a play.

CHIEF JUJON (9) started from this same gate last start when sent around them early to sit parked. Missing the money, it followed a 2m 2nd to BRAEVIEW FELLA when saved for one run from this alley. Racing in consistent fashion, he can issue a challenge.

SONNY ORLANDO (1) has been finishing in the second half of the pack in recent outings but should appreciate the chance to be first to the poles. With options, he is a podium hope.

CRIME BOSS (7) was a winner here four runs back when finding the right conditions to power home over the top. Not suited last start when asked to sit parked, he can chime in when a gap opens.

SELECTIONS: DATSINAHURRI (4), CHIEF JUJON (9), SONNY ORLANDO (1), CRIME BOSS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: DATSINAHURRI (4) to win

RACE SIX

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when working home in the closing stages after starting from outside the second line. Just a half-neck from BELLA BRONSKI two starts back, that mare has since won again and from this gate, he can get handy enough to stake a claim.

VERMONT (3) is chasing a hat-trick of victories after wins at the 1780 and this trip in her past two starts. Securing 1x1 cover last start, when set free she had the closing power to get past and pull clear to a 5m margin. Settling handy, the threepeat is within reach.

KULANI COURAGE (1) snares the options from this gate and last start had the speed to hold them out when looking to take them all the way. Placed his past two, the gate helps.

FIVE STAR GEM (8) was exposed early last start before cover arrived when finishing midfield behind BELLA BRONSKI. Grabbed late when looking to lead throughout the start prior, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2), KULANI COURAGE (1), VERMONT (3), FIVE STAR GEM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

THE WATERBOY (5) should find this contest easier than his last when unable to go with them in the latter stages as MYDADSAID pulled away to score. Trying to chase in a strong mile set from the front after landing the second line two starts back, position will be key to his hopes.

BLACKJACK BETH (2) has claimed successive wins at the sprint and then the 2040 when making full use of gate 1 to take them all the way. Holding on for a head margin last start, she can hunt for the front here and if able to pinch a panel, will be throwing it down in search of the hat-trick.

ASHLEE NITRO (1) was making some nice metres from back in the pack to grab the bronze in the Inter Regional heat two starts back. Not that far away in the final, she can chime in.

ARETFUL MASTER (7) faced the outside second line last start when trying to make a late raid when midfield. Runner-up the start prior, he will be tucked away here searching for the gaps to feature.

SELECTIONS: THE WATERBOY (5), BLACKJACK BETH (2), ASHLEE NITRO (1), ARTFUL MASTER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-7

RACE EIGHT

ARNOLD STREET (2) eased from gate 5 to find position last start and did not have a smooth passage thereafter. Fading after a tough trip when parked over the AP mile after starting from outside the front line, he can show the tight speed early to capitalise.

STUDLEIGH MARK (1) was sent to the post as fav last start from this gate where he looked for a an all the way performance. Unable to see it out and fading into 3rd, he was runner-up at Marburg the start prior. With the options, he can challenge.

SUNRISE RUBY (5) progressed to the Inter Regional Final after a 3rd when 4m from the winner two starts back. Only 8m away in the Final, the gate makes it a tough ask.

MISS MIA (3) made the most of gate 1 last start to take them all the way and claim a 3m margin. Not too far from the winners but missing the money in both prior starts, she has claims here.

SELECTIONS: ARNOLD STREET (2), STUDLEIGH MARK (1), SUNRISE RUBY (5), MISS MIA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ARNOLD STREET (2) to win

RACE NINE

SUBSTITOOTH (5) has a pair of wins form his past three starts on this deck, the latest here last week when sitting parked from gate 6 and producing a starchy performance to claim a 2m margin. Despite the wide gate, he can force the issue in the early stages to take his shot.

REDS STAR DEAL (3) has a super record here on The Triangle that shows a 50% strike rate with 6 wins in a dozen appearances. Wide gates have made his task too big in all three starts since winning here four runs back. He can be handy enough to issue the challenge.

SAN MAREA (8) was sent forward from gate 5 over this trip last start and nearly pinched it in front when 2m from MADRIGAL. With the right trail, she can be chiming in late.

HUGO GEORGE (2) tackled the Inter Regional Heat where he was sent out fav when midfield behind SII SEMPRE TILLY. Fading out last start when parked, he can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: SUBSTITOOTH (5), REDS STAR DEAL (3), SAN MAREA (8), HUGO GEORGE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SUBSTITOOTH (5) to win

RACE TEN

DOCTA FEELGOOD (2) was a winner here two starts back when settled in the running line from an outside second line gate and when set free, attacked the line in the closing stages, pulling away to claim a 7m margin. Settling handy to the action, he also has a great record on this deck.

SPIRIT AND SOUL (7) will be relying on some factors in his favour, but only needs the gap to be there in time to make his presence felt. An effort full of grit was returned three starts back when parked from the second line and only a neck from the winner. Just a head away last start, he will be probing.

BETTERTHAN POPSY (9) has been faced with some awkward gates in recent months and faces another tricky gate here. With the right slice of luck, he can chime in.

STOMPEM (1) loves a peg trip and form this gate will have all the options to take cover. Runner-up to CHARLIES ACE last start from the trail, the soft trip can see him be primed and waiting.

SELECTIONS: DOCTA FEELGOOD (2), SPIRIT AND SOUL (7), BETTERTHAN POPSY (9), STOMPEM (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
