RACE ONE

The 2138 might sort a few of these runners out and although yet to win beyond the mile, SO SIRIUS (4) might just have found his chance to amend that. Forced to hang tough when parked last start and holding 2nd to GLOVER, he can force the issue here and look to capitalise.

MURPHYS REWARD (9) was first up in Qld two starts back when finding the pocket trail and using the passing lane to grab the silver behind R ELEVEN ART. Unable to sprint when the power went on last start behind GLOVER, this is an open contest and he looks up to challenging.

CATSEYE BEACH (3) was a tough effort when gripping on for the silver behind HANDS ON two starts back. Trying to chime in last start when midfield, he tackles the trip for the first time.

WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (10) was waiting for the gap to open last start when covered in the 1x1 trail when grabbing the bronze behind GLOVER. The gate stings, but he is a podium player again.

SELECTIONS: SO SIRIUS (4), MURPHYS REWARD (9), CATSEYE BEACH (3), WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SO SIRIUS (4) to win

RACE TWO

A return to B5 company should be the right drop to provide PACIFICO DREAM (5) with the chance to return to winning form. Locked away from inside the second line last start when just behind the money as TIMS A TROOPER arrived, this looks well within reach.

GOTTA GO MILKING (9) was trying to find space here four starts back when placed behind BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS and was able to arrive at his next outing in the Members Cup. Runner-up in both appearances since, the gate is not ideal, but he is up to throwing down a challenge.

GLOVER (10) has been in consistent touch since arriving in Aus and was building towards a victory after four successive placings. Cashing in last start to lead throughout, he can chime in.

APHRODITE (1) was strong to the line last start when grabbing the bronze behind the flying LANAI and only finishing a neck in arrears. With an economical trip, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: PACIFICO DREAM (5), GOTTA GO MILKING (9), GLOVER (10), APHRODITE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PACIFICO DREAM (5) to win

RACE THREE

In a race where many are searching for a return to winning form, NURBURGRING (9) can look to convert some consistent performances here. Luckless last week when stung by gate 12 over the 2138 and running up behind them, positioning just behind the speed can see him capitalise.

JIMARTEE (3) was first up in Qld last start when tackling veteran’s company midweek and faced with gate 7. Attacking the line strongly in the closing stages to run the winner to a half-neck, he finds the right opposition here to press forward to throw down the challenge.

MISS MUCHO (1) started from inside the second line last start and was not helped in transit as SWEET MIRACLE proved too slick. Trying to make ground the start prior, she will be stalking.

BLACKJACK BART (4) settled in the trail two starts back and with eh soft trip was able to hold on for the silver behind MAKARA. A tough effort last start when not far away, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: NURBURGRING (9), JIMARTEE (3), MISS MUCHO (1), BLACKJACK BART (4)
SUGGESTED BET: NURBURGRING (9) to win

RACE FOUR

With only a small break before preparing for another Interstate campaign, LEAP TO FAME (7) is back at the scene of his last start heroics where he annihilated the Inter Dominion Field with a mammoth victory. The gate is no luxury, but he is too good in this line up.

TURN IT UP (8) will also make his first post ID Final appearance and secures the second line options. Unable to go with them over the closing stages in LEAP TO FAME’S emphatic victory, he should appreciate a return to local FFA company and has the speed to grab the silver.

DEUS EX (4) was last seen in the ID Consolation where he darted across from gate 6 to find the poles before taking cover and was then buried away. With the early bullets, he can feature.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (6) turned back the clock here two starts back when showing a blistering turn of hoof to charge home to a PB victory. Franking that by going back-to-back, he can look to hold form.

SELECTIONS: LEAP TO FAME (7), TURN IT UP (8), DEUS EX (4), NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 7 / 8 / 3-4-5-6

RACE FIVE

CLASS TO THE MAX (10) rolled forward from the middle of the line last start and forced to do some work in the middle stages before receiving cover, held on to be 6m from the winner MAJOR MEMPHIS. Gate 7 was his undoing the start prior and despite the alley can open the 2024 account.

MISTER REACTOR (7) is afforded no favours from the wide gate second up from a spell, but he finds a reasonable level of opposition to make his presence felt. Luckless when resuming where he was hitting dead-ends, this is not out of reach.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (3) has struggled to convert his opportunities on this deck but can bring a last start victory at Redcliffe to the considerations. From the gate, he will be thereabouts.

BIDE OUR TIME (2) was making a late play last start when under 3m from the winner DANIEL BOOM in a slow closing panel. The gate helps, but his Qld record is yet to show a win.

SELECTIONS: CLASS TO THE MAX (10), MISTER REACTOR (7), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (3), BIDE OUR TIME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CLASS TO THE MAX (10) to win

RACE SIX

Trying to take them all the way last start from gate 2, DIAMOND BIKINI (1) led until deep into the stretch, only to be collared in the closing stages and missing the money when under 4m from the winner. Runner-up in both prior Qld appearances, the gate gives her a chance to capitalise.

BRONSKI DELIGHT (3) forced her way to the front last start and once in control was trying to repel the raiders when holding 2nd behind the flying SWEET MIRACLE. 3rd to that same winner the start prior, she will be close enough to throw down the challenge once again.

BONNIES DANCE (4) overcame gate 6 here three runs back when finishing over the top to claim a PB victory. Sent out in red figures from gate 10 last week when 3rd, she can feature again.

MISS MIA (8) looks to map for a soft trip in behind the speed and will be searching for a gap late. Taking them all the way in smart time at Redcliffe two starts back, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: DIAMOND BIKINI (1), BRONSKI DELIGHT (3), BONNIES DANCE (4), MISS MIA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: DIAMOND BIKINI / BRONSKI DELIGHT (1/3) quinella

RACE SEVEN

A drop out of the open grade and back to this second tier can be the catalyst for BEACH VILLA (4) to bounce back into wining form. Setting the tempo last start and only feeling the pinch in the closing stages as NORTHVIEW HUSTLER arrived, he can force the issue here to capitalise.

HY VOLTAGE (1) took the trail at the 2138 last week behind TIMS A TROOPER but was left unable to eat into the deficit over the closing stages when missing the money. Tackling open company the start prior, he looks better suited in this grade and has the mapping options to call on.

TARGARYEN (8) resumes from a let up after a smart 3rd in the ID Consolation behind CANTFINDABETTORMAN at his last outing. Stepping up through that Series, he has second line options.

RED RIGHT HAND (5) has not had much in his favour in recent outings, the latest when forced to retreat from outside the front line and never suited by the tempo. He is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: BEACH VILLA (4), HY VOLTAGE (1), TARGARYEN (8), RED RIGHT HAND (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BEACH VILLA (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

In a field where the majority are chasing a return to form, the gate advantage for ROCK SUPREME (1) gives him the opportunity to bounce back with a W. Trying to launch wide off the track last behind MOSSDALE TERRY, he has the early hustle to cash in here.

CHAMONIX (4) was asked to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way two starts back and despite doing the work was able to grind out the prize. Best of the chasing pack behind BRONSKI ZULU last start, he is never too far away and can challenge again.

LITTLE BOLT (3) could not make ground behind the airborne LANAI last start which followed a second line effort behind BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS. A sharper effort in this line up would be no surprise.

MR BOHANNON (8) turned his form around last start to take them all the way in a mid-week veteran’s event. With a soft trip on offer, he gets his chance to frank the effort.

SELECTIONS: ROCK SUPREME (1), CHAMONIX (4), LITTLE BOLT (3), MR BOHANNON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK SUPREME (1) to win

RACE NINE

A tricky second division of the qualifying mare’s where the map does not look clear cut. If FORGIVE ME (4) can utilise some early hustle to get across and find the front, her stocks will rise and can boast a slick front end victory at Redcliffe four back. This is within reach.

BORN TO WRITE (6) pressed forward from gate 4 at Redcliffe four runs back and from the front was able to pull away to a big 23m victory. A tough effort two starts back when under 2m from the winner but missing the money in a blanket finish, she can issue the challenge here.

VALLANI MAGIC (1) found the front early before taking cover last start and from the trail held on for the bronze behind LADY DIGBY. The gate aids her chances to feature in the money again.

MELTON INSULTED (8) made the most of the chance to set the tempo at Redcliffe last time out and saw them off to take a 2m margin. Likely snookered, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: FORGIVE ME (4), BORN TO WRITE (6), VALLANI MAGIC (1), MELTON INSULTED (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FORGIVE ME (4) to win

RACE TEN

Undefeated since arriving in Qld with four victories to her name, SWEET MIRACLE (7) will face a test here from the outside paint to make it a handful. Overcoming the second line last start when descending on them with a 6m margin, she will rely on some favours but looks up to it.

SISTA BLISS (6) had been building towards a victory and was able to deliver it from the breeze last start when sent to sit parked from gate 7 and grind out a gritty victory. Runner-up to APHRODITE from the wide gate three runs back, she can throw it down again here.

BETTOR ROMANCE (3) made the most of gate 1 last start when tucked in the trail and making the passing lane shot a winning one. Back to mare’s only grade is an added plus.

CAPTAIN OF SPEED (5) was eased to the inside from the middle of the line last time and finished midfield behind SWEEET MIRACLE. Grabbed late two starts back, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SWEET MIRACLE (7), SISTA BLISS (6), BETTOR ROMANCE (3), CAPTAIN OF SPEED (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET MIRACLE (7) to win
