RACE ONE

KNIGHT JUJON (3) was sent to the post as fav last start from gate 4 and was put into the contest when moving forward to sit parked and hold 2nd behind NORTEE NASH. Runner-up three starts back when making late metres behind PUNTERS JEWEL, this looks his chance to breakthrough.

TIPPIN IT (1) has place in four of her eight on this deck as she chases the maiden breaking win. Holding on for the bronze last start as THE NARCISSIST pulled clear to a big win, she followed a similarly impressive winner in YUKON BE SERIOUS two starts back. The gate helps.

PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (5) should strip fitter from her first up performance when runner-up to THE NARCISSIST. A three-time runner-up in five career starts, she can chime in.

TAKE COURAGE (7) maps to secure an economical trip against the poles and will be aiming up when the gaps present to chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: KNIGHT JUJON (3), TIPPIN IT (1), PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (5), TAKE COURAGE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

THE NARCISSIST (2) had trialled in good order in readiness for his debut here last week and off the back of that was sent out deep into the red. Still with plenty to learn, he was able to put his ability on display and pull clear to a big win. The added experience will be a huge plus.

NORTEE NASH (1) made an error on debut that saw his chances end before they started. Starting from gate 6 at his second appearance, he was able to put it together and descend on them to claim a maiden breaker. This looks a race in two and he can issue the challenge.

KERRIE BE (6) fired out from gate 1 last start to set the tempo but was unable to see them off and faded late to miss the money. Moving out to gate 6 makes it a tough ask.

COME ON TASCOTT (8) broke maiden ranks before Christmas last year and switched barns soon after. Making a critical error to end her chances last start, she can be sharper.

SELECTIONS: THE NARCISSIST (2), NORTEE NASH (1), KERRIE BE (6), COME ON TASCOTT (8)
SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 2 / 1 / 6-8

RACE THREE

BARKWAY MARGARET (8) tackled this trip two starts back when sent to the front before putting the opposition to the sword when pulling clear to win by over 25m. Buried in transit last start, she was hitting the line in good order when under 3m from the winner and can capitalise here.

ALTANA BLUE (4) was trying to make an impact here last start when 3rd behind TYPHOON TORQUE after starting from a second line gate. 6m from the winner HOLDINGNO CURRENCY two starts back, he can ease across and limiting the burn can throw it down.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (6) brings solid credentials to the contest after a top-three in seven of her past eight starts. Not helped but the gate, she still must be factored into considerations.

MATAI REACTOR (3) secured the 1x1 trail last start and was trying to reel in the leader and winner RANCHO MAN when finishing under 3m in arrears. He can be chiming in again.

SELECTIONS: BARKWAY MARGARET (8), ALTANA BLUE (4), TORQUE IN CONTROL (6), MATAI REACTOR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BARKWAY MARGARET (8) to win

RACE FOUR

TORQUE WRITER (8) was a winner three starts back when eased from gate 4 to secure position before finishing over the top of them. Making good metres at her next start from outside the second line, she would have been closer last time with a cleaner passage. She can descend.

MONTEREY JACK (6) was able to defy the inside second line last start when angled into open space away from the pegs to finish hard down the outside to claim a 2m margin. Working hard here three runs back when under 4m from the winner, he is going well enough to feature in this.

CHASIN DREAMZ (2) started from inside the second line last start when locked away in the run and making a late raid to be 3m from the winner RANCHO MAN. The gate is a big plus in this.

VERMONT (1) tackled a second division mare’s qualifier last start and after being shuffled back early, was under 7m from the winner. With the right trip, she can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE WRITER (8), MONTEREY JACK (6), CHASIN DREAMZ (2), VERMONT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE WRITER (8) to win

RACE FIVE

DOCTA FEELGOOD (9) faces the tough gate but is going well enough to overcome the impediment. Put out of business last start in a 70Final at HQ, he was the bridesmaid at his previous five in succession, two starts back when a half-neck away after a gritty performance.

ASHLEE NITRO (5) has hit some good form with three wins in her past four starts and will chase a hat-trick here. Finishing best to claim a 3m margin last start, she was able to overcome the outside second line two back when descending on them. Tempo will help her chances.

OYSTER STRIDE (1) has the benefit of the gun draw and has the options to call on. Asked to sit parked last start when just behind the money, the gate will help his chances of featuring.

STOMPEM (8) tackled a tougher Saturday contest last start when midfield as WHATA ROLLER pulled clear. 3rd to EURO BEAT on this deck two starts back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DOCTA FEELGOOD (9), ASHLEE NITRO (5), OYSTER STRIDE (1), STOMPEM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: DOCTA FEELGOOD (9) to win

RACE SIX

SAINT JUJON (5) held on for the bronze last start when chasing home behind a pair of smart customers in EAGLESPRIDE and HOT ROD HARRY. A gritty 3rd three runs back, her only win came on this deck, and she looks to have found conditions to capitalise.

LITTLEMICKEY (1) was a runner-up on debut when sent forward from gate 4 to take over and was trying to fight them off when 4m astern of the winner RISK TAKER. Breaking maiden ranks at career start four last time, with added experience, confidence and gate, he can challenge.

SHOOBEE RIGHT (2) was a winner five runs back and has not been too far away in each outing since. Under 2m from the winner when 3rd last start, he can be thereabouts in this contest.

HOLLYWOODBOUND (8) will have some early options to drift down to the poles if needed and three fence in this trip would be a handy position.

SELECTIONS: SAINT JUJON (5), LITTLEMICKEY (1), SHOOBEE RIGHT (2), HOLLYWOODBOUND (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SAINT JUJON (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

RANCHO MAN (3) has hit some form and chases a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at this track and trip. Seeing them off here last week when setting the tempo, he can look to stoke the fires early and pressing forward can chase the threepeat.

MILLIE FRANCIS (5) is not afforded any favours from the wide gate but should take good benefit from her appearance here last week when first up off a break. Settling back in the pack from a second line barrier, she was finishing too strongly for them and can be throwing it down here.

EMMALEEN (1) resumes from a spell after being shut down following a last start 2nd when only a head from the winner. Powering home over the top here three back, she will be probing.

SKYGIRL (4) will take further benefit from her latest offering when second up from a spell with a 2nd behind MILLIE FRANCIS. Resuming a winner after a tough effort, she is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: RANCHO MAN (3), MILLIE FRANCIS (5), EMMALEEN (1), SKYGIRL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-5

RACE EIGHT

SERGIOS ROCKET (7) resumes from a freshen after her last appearance came in a mare’s contest over the AP mile when running 2nd and finishing 3m astern of the winner SHEZ NOTORIOUS. Under 6m from the winner HOLI STARZZZ two back, she maps for the ideal trip.

SQUARE DEALER (1) last sighted the pole alley over the AP mile four runs back in a much tougher contest. Shuffled to three back on that occasion as ALWAYS SMOKIN cashed in, he found the line in good order last start from the running line. He has all the options to challenge.

CALL ME KEITH (4) made the most of gate 1 here two starts back when burrowing though to keep them wide and then hold on over the closing stages after setting a slick last 800 out in front. Luckless from inside the second line at Tamworth last start, he is right in this.

BETTERTHAN POPSY (9) produced some tidy closing sectionals at HQ last start and should appreciate a return to The Triangle despite the tough gate. Tempo will be his friend.

SELECTIONS: SERGIOS ROCKET (7), SQUARE DEALER (1), CALL ME KEITH (4), BETTERTHAN POPSY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SERGIOS ROCKET (7) win/place
