Racing Queensland advises that the Sunshine Coast Turf Club race meeting this Sunday, March 3, which was originally scheduled for the venue’s Course Proper but subsequently transferred to the Poly Track, will now not proceed.
The decision to discontinue the meeting was made on the basis that the number of horses accepted (including a number which also held acceptances at other race meetings this weekend) rendered it unviable.
RQ will, as a consequence of the meeting’s abandonment, carefully assess the existing race programmes in SEQ within the next 7-10 days.
