Racing Queensland confirms that the meeting scheduled for Sunday, April 7, at Sunshine Coast Turf Club has been abandoned following a continuation of rainfall in the area. A replacement meeting has however been programmed for the venue’s Polytrack on the same day.
The new meeting has necessitated the development of a fresh program:
- Open Handicap - 1000m, $28,000;
- Benchmark 60 Handicap – 1600m, $28,000;
- Benchmark 60 Handicap – 1000m, $28,000;
- Class 1 Handicap – 1100m, $28,000;
- Maiden Handicap – 1400m; $30,000;
- Maiden SW – 1100m, $30,000;
- 3YO Maiden SW – 1000m, $30,000; and
- 2YO Maiden Handicap – 1000m, $30,000
New nominations for the meeting have been called for and the following deadlines are now applicable:
- Nominations: Friday, April 5, at 10:30am
- Weights declared: Friday, April 5
- Acceptances: Friday, April 5, at midday
- Jockeys: Friday, April 5, at 2pm
