He further added after the gelding had travelled well into the home-turn, it failed to let down as expected and proved disappointing when placed under pressure.

Slow to begin. Shortly after the start, crowded for room and hampered. Leaving the 800m, raced in restricted room, put in an awkward stride and became unbalanced. When asked to comment, Rdr advised following this incident gelding was reluctant to stretch out and did not respond to riding from that point when placed under pressure. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs.
