Slow to begin. As the pace of the race commenced to steady, shifted wider leaving 1100m & progressed forward to a leading position leaving 1000m. Rdr reported when the pace of race steadied approaching 1100m, mount commenced to over-race, therefore allowed gelding to stride to a leading position, however when placed under pressure in the home straight, failed to respond to riding-added mount would be better suited when allowed to race in a position with cover & with a more genuine tempo. Tnr concurred with Rdr’s comments.
