Upon returning to scale Jockey reported the mare was reluctant to hold its position when another runner improved around it. Jockey added the mare may benefit from the addition of a tongue tie to its approved gear as he feels the mare may have got her tongue back in the early stages. |

Which was resuming from a lengthy spell was inspected by the clubs veterinary surgeon and cleared to take its place in the field. After beginning well commenced to lose ground from the 600 metres. Jockey reported the gelding's lack of race fitness was the cause of today's poor performance however the gelding would benefit greatly from today's run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. |
