Ginga Gal (NZ)  When questioned regarding the poor performance of the mare, Jockey explained that from its wide barrier draw the gelding was unable to muster sufficient speed to take up a prominent position, was constantly under pressure throughout and was disappointing. He added that in his opinion the mare is better suited in races over longer distances,where it is able to dictate terms in front.  Cairns  11/09/2015

Lunar Luck  When questioned regarding his riding Apprentice explained that his instructions were not to place undue pressure on his mount in the early stages. He said that after beginning reasonably, when runners to his inside showed superior speed he elected to take up a rearward position closer to the running rail. He added that from the 600 metres his mount was inclined to lay in, and near the 200 metres continued to do so, shifted in despite his efforts and became awkwardly placed on the heels of another runner.  Cairns  11/09/2015 
Mish Mosh  Refused to jump and took no part in the race.Trainer said that the mare will now be retired. Nevertheless, he was advised that before being permitted to race again the mare must obtain 2 barrier certificates.  Cairns  11/09/2015

Lilly Kareena  Shortly after the start attempted to buck and lost ground, then raced ungenerously throughout the early and middle stages. Trainer was told that the filly must perform satisfactorily in a trial prior to being permitted to race again.  Cairns  11/09/2015 
Mishani Redman  When questioned regarding the improved performance of the gelding the trainer explained that in his opinion, at the gelding's most recent start it did not handle the shifty track conditions and may have derived benefit from being freshened up.  Cairns  11/09/2015

Nadeem Esprit  A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding, which raced greenly throughout and was uncompetitive, revealed the gelding to be shin sore. Trainer said it was his intention to send the gelding for an immediate spell.  Cairns  11/09/2015

Craiglea Cruz  When questioned regarding the poor performance of the gelding Jockey said that after beginning only fairly his mount was able to obtain a prominent position, where it travelled comfortably throughout, however when a run presented rounding the home turn he placed his mount under pressure and it did not respond to his urgings and was disappointing. Jockey added that in his opinion the gelding performs better over longer distances than today's event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.  Cairns  11/09/2015 
Destruction  Reluctant to load. Was slowly away after jumping awkwardly with its head in the air. Trainer was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding's barrier manners which would be monitored at future starts.

Revel in the Chaos  Jockey reported that his mount jumped the crossing near the 1500 metres awkwardly, then shifted in and made contact with the running rail rounding the turn near the 1000 metres, from that point failed to respond to his urgings and weakened noticeably.
