Slow into stride and as a consequence was shifted behind runners. When qst regarding her riding in the early parts of the straight and whether there was opportunity to improve into a run to the outside of rnr , Rdr stated that shortly after straightening it was her intention to improve into a run to the outside rnr. She added that as rnr had laid out slightly she believed that a run would present between that runner and another rnr, however was disappointed for this run after rnr shifted back in. Rdr added that she was then awkwardly placed heels of rnr for a few strides before finishing off.

Began awkwardly. Raced wide and without cover for majority of the event. Rider concurred that she should have continued to hold her position rounding the home-turn. Rider concurred with Stewards, that in hindsight, easing her mount to obtain a trailing position behind the leaders leaving the 1100m, would have provided her mount some relief from the fast tempo that was subsequently established in the middle stages. Rider was further advised that although to be mindful of instructions issued, to recognise where necessary to deviate from instructions for the benefit of her mount's chances.
