Rdr reported mount was inclined to over race and lay out throughout and did not appreciate tight turning track.

When quest, Rdr explained gelding was racing with blinkers off, with the hope it would settle better than when it raced at Kilcoy on 2/1/25-added shortly after leaving the gates when racing tight, elected to steady and consequently settle further back than wished- further added in hindsight, it may have been preferable at that point in that race, to hold that position, which would have allowed mount to then improve to race closer to the speed.
