Demesne  When questioned regarding the performance, jockey J. Byrne stated that the gelding failed to travel comfortably at any stage of the race and, in his opinion, proved disappointing. Jockey Byrne was of the view that the horse may improve when placed n races over further distances. Trainer C. Munce confirmed that the gelding would now be placed in races over further distances, and undertook to have blood tests conducted, the results of which he would report back to stewards. Carmora  D. Griffin reported at scale that his mount jumped away awkwardly and struck the starting gate. Jockey Griffin added that in his opinion the gelding was not comfortable in its action throughout the race.   Doomben  1/08/2015 
Piamimi  Found to have a small amount of blood in the nearside nostril post-race, which was deemed to have been as a result of external trauma in that there was a small laceration in the nostril.  Sunshine Coast  2/08/2015

Elusive Storm (NZ)  Trainer B. Smith advised that from its inside barrier the mare would be ridden more forward today. The horse settled in a midfield position. Jopa  When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer R. Heathcote stated that the gelding may not have appreciated the step up in distance at its previous start of 1400m and the gelding may have been too fresh for that event. Mr Heathcote added that the gelding was more suited today racing over 1200m with a genuine tempo.  Doomben  1/08/2015 
Kempelly  Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Rider R. Fradd was questioned at scale following the event as it was observed that there were specks of blood visible on his colours. R. Fradd indicated that the horse had a laceration to the poll. Following this information, stewards interviewed trainer K. Kemp and foreperson Mr A. Wallace to ascertain when the gelding had sustained the injury. As stewards were unable to identify how or when the injury had occurred, they noted their explanations and no action was taken.  Sunshine Coast  16/05/2015

Vintage Moss  Bumped on jumping away. Rider questioned re tactics adopted in the early stages - instructed to obtain a handy position but not to ride the gelding vigorously in the early stages as it had shown a tendency to overrace. For this reason he was unable to maintian a trailling position behind BELEGIC and as a result near the 900m had to be steadied form the heels of HYDRAZIN. Trainer confirmed instructions and express dissapointment in overall performance. Vetted - sustained a laceration to the off hind coronet. A swab sample was taken.  Gold Coast  9/05/2015

Didntcostalot  When questioned rider P King stated that he was instructed to race in a forward position and from the geldings wide barrier had been forced to work hard in an attempt to cross runners to his inside but was unable to muster sufficient speed and was caught wide through the early and middle stages of the race. P King added that prior to the 400m the gelding was under pressure and weakened noticeably in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a poor post race recovery.  Wellington  29/03/2015

Heart Smart  When afforded the opportunity to comment on the performance, apprentice B. Grylls indicated that the overall performance was disappointing. She felt this could be attributed to the break between runs as a result of missing starts due to wet tracks. Mana Manu  Questioned re: performance - rider stated gelding travelled well throughout however when placed under pressure upon straightening, weakened noticebly. Stated horse made an abnormal breathing noise which she felt contributed to the dissapointing performance. Stable rep agreed with rider's comments and undertook to report back to stewards at a later date. Post race vet revealed a poor post race recovery rate.  Canterbury Park  23/04/2015 
State of Wealth  Hampered when tiring by another runner which improved to its inside near the 200m. Trainer reported that following this event the horse was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore hoof.
