OH BOY  A pre race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a loose tooth, however was cleared to race. Had a tendency to lay in under pressure whilst weakening and was obliged to check near the 200m after laying in on to the heels of SHREWVELON after laying in on to the heels of SHREWVELON, which shifted out under pressure. Miss R. Myers, rider of SHREWVELON, was reprimanded for failing to stop riding and straighten when shifting ground.  Sunshine Coast  12/06/2016

Ingeegoodbe  Slow to begin. When asked to comment on the performance, jockey M. Cahill reported that he had anticipated riding in a more forward position, however he was slow to begin and was obliged to pressure his mount throughout the event to hold a position. He felt the horse handled the rain affected conditions and finished the race off reasonably well under pressure. Arteta  Jockey G. Colless reported the horse travelled to the 600m, however when placed under pressure failed to respond and he became concerned something was amiss with his mount and for this reason eased the colt down in the straight. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Trainer K. Schweida advised he would have a full veterinary examination carried out on the gelding, the results of which he would forward on to stewards.   Ipswich  13/01/2016

Conca Del Sogno  When asked to explain the performance, jockey J. Byrne stated that the gelding was inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight, which prevented him from riding the gelding out in his normal manner. Code Noir  Questioned re overall performance - rider stated after beginning well he was able to take up a handy position where the gedling travelled comfortably. Commenced to improve into the race rounding the home turn but failed to finish off the race as expected over the final 200m and prove dissapointing. Trainer thought the gelding raced flat today and may be better suited when ridden in the second half of the field. Indicated gelding would be freshened up before its next start. Destiva  When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer B. Ahrens advised that the horse's previous run at the Gold Coast was its first start in 11 months and, in his opinion, the gelding had gained fitness and experience from that run.  Toowoomba  11/06/2016 
Katelette  Became awkward making the first turn. Apprentice B. Appo reported that in his opinion the mare is better suited over distances of 1200m and added that it did not handle today's track conditions. Trainer also of the opinion horse failed to handle step up in distance. Advised horse would be now be sent for a spell. Alfie Junior  Kicked by another runner behind the barriers, inspected by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Began awkwardly. When questioned regarding the horse's disappointing performance, jockey S. Galloway stated that after being very fractious during its preliminary and behind the barriers the gelding began awkwardly and for this reason he was unable to ride the horse in a forward position. He added that he placed the horse under pressure leaving the 600m, however it failed to respond to his riding and in his opinion was disappointing. Vetted and found to be showing signs of heat stress.  Ipswich  19/12/2015
