Jennifer Juniper Began awkwardly and was severely tightened for room and lost ground. Laid in in the home straight and proved difficult to ride out, resulting in its rider being forced to stop riding and straighten near the 100m. Raced wide. Toowoomba 30/07/2016
Mia Magic Prior to correct weight, stewards reviewed the film to ascertain if MIA MAGIC had been denied a fair start. Stewards were satisfied it was afforded a fair start and correct weight was given. Trainer B. Brown was advised that he must obtain a further barrier certificate for the mare prior to its next race start. Jumped away very awkwardly and shifted out towards the outside fence, dislodging its rider and made heavy contact with the outside fence. Vetted and found to have multiple abrasions of the off foreleg, and large fluid swelling on the top of its near-side knee. Sunshine Coast 04/05/2016
Wulfies Lady Steadied from heels near the 500m. Held up rounding the home turn, and had difficulty securing clear running in the home straight and went to the line without being fully tested. Sunshine Coast 07/08/2016
Sheza Yankee Hung out for a major part of the race and made the home turn extremely wide. Trainer J. Meagher was advised the filly must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Eagle Farm 27/07/2016

Unchartered When asked to comment on the performance, apprentice A. Sewell indicated that the horse raced very greenly and lost ground in the middle stages despite being ridden with vigour. He indicated he had recommended to connections that they consider the addition of blinkers for the horse’s next race start, and added that despite racing greenly, the horse finished the race off well Sunshine Coast 07/08/2016

Rising Luck Overaced in the middle stages and then forced to race 3 wide near the 900m and then ridden forward to a position outside the lead passing the 700m. Sunshine Coast 07/08/2016
Rock Spark Raced keenly in the early stages and after being caught wide was allowed to stride forward by its rider and obtained the lead position leaving the 800m. Toowoomba 30/07/2016

Red Future When the pace of the race steadied approaching the 1300m commenced to overrace and threw its head in the air for a considerable distance. Toowoomba 16/04/2016
Suite Mover A post race veterinary examination revealed blood in its near-side nostril, which was attributed to external trauma. Sunshine Coast 27/03/2016

Delightful Feeling Jockey G. Colless reported he had been instructed to ride his mount with cover and that the horse travelled well until the 500m when he was required to steady the gelding to avoid the heels of TIBURON which shifted out. He further added that from this point the horse did not respond to his riding until the final 100m and was doing its best work over the concluding stages. Sunshine Coast 02/03/2016

Extrasay T. Harrison explained that the mare had a nice run in a handy position on the rail, had travelled well to the turn and on straightening she was confident that the horse would finish its race off. She said when afforded clear running at the top of the straight and placed under pressure, the mare did not quicken and gave ground. She added that she was of the opinion that as the mare has only ever raced on firm tracks, it may not have handled today’s soft track conditions. Doomben 03/08/2016
