When qst re the perf, rdr std that he was instructed to have his mount where it was comfortable and, after beginning only fairly, he was able to obtain a position midfield on the rail where his mount travelled comfortably. He said that rounding the home turn his mount was held up before that having to steady after straightening when disappointed for a run between two rnrs. He added, from the 300m, his mount raced somewhat greenly and was disappointing in its failure to respond to his riding. A post-race vet exam did not reveal any abs.
