Apprentice Collis was conscious of the recent form of LETS TORQUE A DEAL, which had led by similar margins in a recent start, and began to pressure his mount from the 600m in an attempt to close the margin. Apprentice Collis felt that by allowing LUCKY EXCHANGE to quicken earlier, it may have had a detrimental effect on the geldings finishing effort.
