When questioned regarding the performance of the mare, Jockey B Appo stated that his mount weakened noticeably when placed under pressure in the straight and he became concerned with his mounts action of the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer C Dore advised that she would report back on the condition of the mare in the subsequent days including the results of blood work.
